I had a burning question that’s been on my mind for a while. In one scene in Midnight Mass, Hamish Linklater/Father Paul has a chocolate chip(?) muffin I believe in episode 3 or 4? I really wanted to know if this was a prop, or if it was an actual snack that was eaten later. Why did no other chocolate muffins appear, does Father Paul like chocolate chip muffins?
I personally don't have any problem with Lily taking James's surname, becoming Lily Potter, and completely dropping Evans. It was 1979, she grew up in a budding war atmosphere as the marginalized, and the Potter name was strong.
You can't dismantle someone's feminism or strength — and call them a tradwife — just because they chose the safer option and used her partner's institutional privilege to protect herself.
Recently I made a list of books from all 50 states that I wanted to try to read. It contains mostly mysteries, thrillers, fiction, and what’s considered literary classics.
I wanted to do this so I could be encouraged to try new books and new authors that I have never really read before. I thought it would also help me see more of each state to perhaps give me a different perspective of each state.
The first book I read was from Alaska.
Wrong Alibi by Christina Dodd.
Honestly a disappointing read for the first book. 2.75 ⭐️ out of 5. I enjoyed reading about the main character. However, once it switched to other points of view it felt like it became weak. There were some plot lines that were completely unnecessary. Had she just stuck to the main character’s story and only one additional element to the story, it would have been much better.
