family had always been important to eloy for as long as the male could remember. he had three younger sisters, a mother who was working multiple jobs, & a step-father who was always gone due to working construction. it was a messy house-hold that eloy never wanted to be in from the start. he couldn’t afford a single thing & often resorted to staying at his friends’ places rather than his own for the simplest of reasons. one friend had an xbox-- something that the dean family could never afford. while another friend had four cats & a dog-- animals or pets of any sort weren’t allowed in the apartments eloy lived in. soon enough making friends was just a battle of finding the people in town who had more than eloy ( which wasn’t very hard to do honestly ).

there was only one item that eloy had that he didn’t have to share with his sisters or with anyone else as a matter of fact. it was a bow that his parents saved up for once he entered high school. throughout the years it was also an object that eloy debated, many times, selling to make a little extra cash. to this day though; he was happy that he never went through with selling it. it was the only beautiful thing that he got to keep in his life. if anything it was more like an anchor to him, reminding him when everything was still a struggle, but more simple. 

peace & quiet were needed when getting his anger out with his bow & arrows. with the sound of footsteps behind him though, while he was taking aim, eloy lifted his green eyes off his target - however not moving his arms down to lower the weapon. instead he turned his eyes to the person besides him, a smirk spread over his lips. “ i’d be careful if i were you. getting too close or being too annoying may result in you getting in trouble. ” & just as the word trouble rolled off his tongue, with his green eyes still on the person, eloy shot the arrow. landing just an inch off the bullseye.

what's something about you that you'd be scared of someone else finding out?

“ oh wouldn’t you like to know. i don’t have any intentions on spilling any of that, grey face, so i suggest you lay off. ”

what do you consider your best assets? your worst traits?

“ i’m athletic & healthy & i’m observing - i can sometimes be a good listener too. although i am cranky, bossy, aggressive, stubborn, sarcastic, ‘ edgy ’, irrational, deceiving, cynical, arrogant— oh that list can go on & on honestly. ”

if you could go back and relive one year of your life, would you? which year would it be?

“ ninth grade, also known as freshman year of high school, i tried out for the football team & ended up making varsity. you know how much all the gear costed? too much. it was seriously the biggest mistake of my high school career. the only good that came out of it was the fact that the cheerleaders were pretty cute & wanted to hang out with me. ”

if you could change anything about your past -- like dating someone who took advantage of you and your (somewhat destructive) profession for profit, haha! -- what would it be, and why?

“ well you don’t take your time beating around the damn bush now do you? ---- i think the only thing i would change is how quickly i moved out of seattle. i wish i was out of that hipster beacon when i at least turned seventeen. maybe i would’ve been better off with more money. ”

hello hello, my name is kylen & this is my baby eloy who is an underground boxer. he’s got a little pent up anger in him usually all the time & doesn’t know how to communicate with people that well because he’s super cynical. have these little snippets of him though. you can either hmu to plot or wait until i post the music task which might be later tonight or tomorrow morning!

Eloy grew up in Seattle, Washington; a fairly expensive place to live. As he grew up there were a lot of things he wanted but due to having three younger siblings it was hard for his parents to really buy anything.

He met a girl in high school who he was head over heels in love for and they were his school’s high school sweethearts; the couple everyone thought would make it through the thick and thin.

When Eloy turned eighteen though, as a way to help his parents out, he took up underground boxing as a sport. He knew how to find out people’s weaknesses and guarantee that he won every time.

When his girlfriend found out though, she was unhappy and told him that she was scared for her life. But seeing as Eloy was making enough money to keep his family stable he had to pick one or the other. He chose his family, but lied to his girlfriend that he stopped boxing.

When he was around twenty, living with this girl and everything, Eloy lost one of his first fights and went home all beaten up. That’s when his girlfriend took pictures of him and his bruises and injuries.

A week later she tried to sue him for everything he had ( individually and with her ) claiming that she “felt her life was in danger”. She ended up winning the mass majority of his funds and their things which is what triggered Eloy to move out of Seattle and to Baltimore, where he’s been for four years now.

Eloy’s greatest fear honestly is losing himself. He has slight anger issues and massive trust issues when it comes to other people, especially since what happened between him and his last partner.

Uncontainable by Set It Off fits Eloy so well because throughout the song ( and music video actually ) shows how Eloy progressed through his life. He started out as the loser, training and working to get higher up in the world. Not only that, but he also found himself trying hard to be the champion when it came to boxing because hey—- more money for him.
