After finding the Hollow Earth, humans full-heartedly believed that they had a new advantage over the titans. It was a new place to study, and everyone saw the power Kong's axe held. It could pierce Godzilla's skin unlike their missiles or torpedoes.
Because, now, the titans that had been dormant were now active. Not aggressive, just awake. They were all peaceful and seemed passive. Except for one.
Rodan.
He was very, very mad. He went out of his way to attack humans and destroy human settlements. He wanted revenge against them. Because of the oxygen destroyer, his home was devoid of life. Isla de Mara was uninhabitable.
Well, there was one small creature. A tiny crab. So small that it looked like the pebbles it buried itself in. However, this crustacean was born from death. And would bring it soon.
Hello! Since I have way too many fics, I decided to make a masterpost of what I've written and what I would like to write.
There’s a lot to get through, so here we go!
UPDATED 5/24/2025
This post is mostly a way for me to keep track of everything and stay organized on the progress/status on current fics and future fics I have yet to upload. It will be changed regularly! I always get comments on when I'll be updating and I hate being an AO3 author who gives false excitement to readers with updates that aren't actual chapters.
Thanks for stopping by!
Author Status: (5/24/25) I have a new job that is much more time consuming than my previous one. I barely have any time to do anything besides eat, sleep, and work. Much less write. All fics will be either on hiatus or update very slowly.

It's still in the works! There have been some health issues and family issues so it's put another hinder on updates. I'm not abandoning the fic tho, no matter how long it takes!
It is said that monsters roamed the Earth long before dinosaurs ever did.
Monsters.
How pathetic.
The small ones knew nothing about them. Nothing about him. They had forgotten their place in his kingdom, thinking that they were equals. She told him that the small ones were to be protected. He disagreed. Despite their size, the small ones have damaged his home. Sure, some had good hearts. For example, the small one with glasses that looked at him with respect.
“Goodbye…old friend.”
His small paw had touched his large, scaled snout gently. The old king was not used to such tenderness. He was used to claws slashing into his hide and sharp teeth tearing chunks of his flesh. Not this.
No one saw the giant titan lean into the touch.
A blinding light filled the lizard’s vision. When it faded away, the gentle touch was gone.
The small one was dead.
Godzilla was tired. Dirty water flowed through his gills, something he had gotten used to. The king had many resting places throughout the Earth, but the small ones had destroyed his favorite one. It was necessary at the time. Even so, he was still upset about it.
This was his kingdom, and it was being ruined by the small ones. He was not one to forget nor forgive. Godzilla still remembered the metal object that had brought death to his oceans. Only the small ones could create such a thing. It had killed everything within its radius. Including the Fire Bird’s island. There was a time where the king would have felt sympathy towards the winged titan, but that time has long since passed.
Rodan deserved it.
Simply thinking of the titan angered him. Godzilla snarled to himself and exited his resting chambers. He swam into the open ocean. His long tail propelled him forward. The king’s anger increased as he saw the trash that floated throughout the ocean like it belonged there more than the creatures. It wasn’t that much of a stretch. The garbage of the small ones were quickly replacing the fish at an alarming rate.
A buzzing interrupted his thoughts. It was familiar. It was annoying .
It was the small ones.
This was the group that enjoyed studying him. Godzilla was in no mood to entertain them, so he snapped his jaws at the metal capsule. It quickly sped off into the depths.
Godzilla soon breached the surface of the water. The air was just as dirty as the ocean. He knew the balance of the Earth had been broken by the small ones. It was almost impressive. When the Three Headed Alien awoke, they did not cause nearly as much damage. They were weak. Still, Rodan had sided with them like the coward he was.
His treasonous actions did not go unpunished. Every titan had gone back to hibernation except a select few. That being Godzilla, his queen Mothra, and Rodan. The king would not allow insubordination in his kingdom. Everyone must follow his rule without question. Or else there would be dire consequences.
The king prohibited Rodan from flying.
He knew how important flying was for Rodan. The molten pteranodon was made to fly, it was a part of his very being. Godzilla took away that privilege the moment the battle in Boston was over.
Rodan hadn’t flown in years. If he tried, Godzilla would come by and tear the smaller titan to pieces. After Mothra’s sacrifice in Boston, Godzilla had acquired a strange ability. He could sense where every titan was across the Earth. When the king focused, he could see what a specific titan was doing. He checked every day to see what Rodan was up to.
Kong had formed a shaky truce with Godzilla. Ghidorah was dead. The only threat to Godzilla’s kingdom was Rodan. Loyalty was everything in this world. When it’s broken, it could never be fixed.
The King of the Monsters would make sure his kingdom was secure. He was willing to do anything to ensure that.
No matter the cost.
Once he spotted the outline of Infant Island, his dorsal plates glowed a bright cyan that he knew could be seen by his Queen. The radioactive reptile was furious at the disappearance of Rodan, the fire bird disappearing from his senses entirely. Godzilla had thought that Rodan would never attempt such a thing, especially with the king's threats of death. Despite how much it irked him to say, the pteranadon's actions surprised him. It was unexpected. Usually, any threat that the King of Monsters gave was taken seriously. No titan dared to test their luck against him. Any who tried would meet their agonizing end from his atomic breath. Even Kong had submitted somewhat. The ape was practically an infant compared to the ancient king. Even so, Godzilla begrudgingly agreed to a truce with the young alpha titan. If Kong ever decided to rebel again or attack, it would pose a problem for Godzilla. It was best to have the ape titan as an ally.
While it bothered the atomic lizard to not have Kong fully submit, he knew it was necessary to avoid future problems. That horrid axe that Kong had wielded caused a permanent scar along Godzilla's leg. He was relieved to see the younger drop the infernal weapon. However, Godzilla had a feeling that the little ones had gotten their grubby hands on the weapon. They would never fully understand its significance or strength. As much as the tiny bugs tried, they were not going to become the apex species any time soon. He was sure that the humans would try to create another weapon to defeat him. In all honesty, Godzilla was at his limit with the humans. They were a pain in his hide to deal with. They weren't worth keeping around. Even so, Mothra incessantly begged him to spare them. She saw something in them that Godzilla did not. Perhaps it was their intelligence and ability to create the unimaginable. At this point, Godzilla did not care. The creation of the fake him was the greatest insult the little parasites could give him. After everything he did, they still wanted to exterminate him. To take his place as king. That was unacceptable.
He has kept the Earth balanced for eons, he defeated the pair of pests that were specially designed to kill him, he defeated multiple titans that would have killed millions before they could reach the humans, he eliminated the False King who would have terraformed the Earth and killed all life within it, and he recently destroyed their stupid metal titan that had gone rouge with the help of Kong. He had done so much for them. Yet they still tried to rebel.
Just like Rodan.
Godzilla roared in fury as he breached the waters. He and all other titans had felt the presence of the Three Headed One. The others would be arriving soon after hearing his commands to wake. It was the humans fault for keeping the alien's skull. This is what happens when those parasites mess with things they do not understand.
"Goji."
"Mothra."
His queen was waiting on the beach that surrounded the sacred island. Her body was tense, and her wings glowed a dull red in frustration. Both titans stared at each other without a word. A tension that rarely appeared between the two now suffocated them. Mothra had always told Godzilla to be less harsh on Rodan and more patient towards the humans. He had respected her requests for the most part, and he had done so for centuries. The moth knew that the king had reached a breaking point. She would not be able to convince him to spare the humans anymore.
In silence the two climbed up the tallest mountain that had a lush valley below. The row of mountains acted as a sort of wall for humans. No one besides her Shobijin could enter safely. Though, the twins that had accompanied Mothra for centuries were gone for the most part. The last remnants of her Shobijin were present in the twins that worked for Monarch, the only group of humans that actively helped the titans. She repressed a mournful sigh as they reached the grassy surface. Anguirus was waiting for them with a fearful expression. The spiky titan bowed once he noticed Godzilla behind her. It was a stark contrast to how the pair used to greet each other. Before Godzilla became the king, he was simply a fellow titan. Yes, he was stronger than them, but he used his strength to protect and support. Now, his strength was used to force submission to their fellow kind. In the past, Anguirus and Godzilla would greet each other with a wrestling match. One of them would pounce of the other, and they would playfully tousle until Mothra intervened. At times, Rodan would join in the mock-fight, which created an even bigger headache for the moth. She would do anything to have those times back.
Shaking her head to rid herself of her nostalgic thoughts, she looked at Godzilla directly. He may be angry, but she refused to be intimidated. "I suppose you are aware of what has happened?" Mothra spoke with an even tone. If Godzilla was going to rage, then she would keep her composure no matter what. Anguirus was already beginning to tremble as they waited for Godzilla's response.
A snort left the lizard's nostrils. "I am. It's hard not to be aware when that fucking bird has been on my radar for years." His lips curled in a sneer, revealing his sharp teeth.
"You know that Rodan is-"
"I don't give a shit if Rodan is 'upset' or 'troubled'! He knew what would happen if he disobeyed my direct orders, and he did it anyways!" Godzilla interrupted the winged titan with a roar. Something he had never done before. The titan even mocked her when referring to the many times she had told him to be more sympathetic towards the volcanic titan. His dorsal plates glowed an even brighter blue, an instinctual intimidation display. "Thanks to him, I have to find and kill that faker all over again! If it wasn't for your precious humans, Ghidorah's skull would have never been found! I should have never fucking listened to you!"
"Godzilla, you must understand that-"
"NO. I am not sparing those parasites ever again! I have had enough of their constant destruction and rebellions. Because of them, the Earth is more unbalanced than it has ever been! They're better off dead, and you know that! Stop defending them! They are worth nothing!" As his anger grew, Godzilla's long tail thrashed violently on the ground. The tip nearly hit Anguirus who had started to back away from the arguing pair. Each word that left his mouth shocked Mothra more and more. Her partner had never disregarder her in such a way. It truly showed how far Godzilla had fallen. Said titan was not done yet. "Those humans are dying today, Mothra! I am not gonna be convinced otherwise! And once I find Rodan, I'll kill him and that golden monstrosity! I am done with such insubordination!"
"We shouldn't-"
"Your input won't do anything anymore. The humans and Rodan have gone too far. I'll compromise with you on anything else, but not this. Those parasites have ruined everything! Rodan doesn't fucking listen while the bugs have been ruining MY WORLD! THEY ARE GOING TO FUCKING SUFFER FOR EVERYTHING THEY HAVE-"
"GOJIRA, BE QUIET!" Mothra screeched so loudly an so suddenly that Godzilla's mouth snapped shut. Her grand wings were spread out to make herself bigger while glowing a bright crimson. Her calm composure had finally shattered at the repeated interruptions and disrespect. "I will not be treated like one of your 'subjects' that you can push around with ease. I am your equal, Godzilla. Not your subordinate. Now, you will be quiet as I speak. Am I clear?" The warm voice Mothra was known for was now colder than ice.
All the anger Godzilla had been feeling vanished. Throughout the centuries of knowing each other, Mothra had never raised her voice in such a way, not even once. She was the level headed of the two. He was a raging storm that only calmed with her light. His vengeful and violent thoughts were starting to fade away as guilt slowly wrapped around his very soul. The betrayed look in his queen's eyes further strengthened the coils of the shame he felt.
Mothra took a deep breath to reorder her thoughts. "I have been by your side since this planet was created. It was never yours to begin with. The Earth does not belong to us, and it never will. We are the protectors. Not the owners. Not the rulers. Not the executioners. We have no right to get rid of what nature has created. Humans are inhabitants of this planet just as much as we are. They have the sharpest minds of any creature I have ever seen. They create things, Goji. Can you think of another animal who can build the things they do? To think that they are parasites is wrong. Yes, they have hurt the Earth. Yes, they have ruined the balance. Yes, they have tried to kill our kind and even you. But they haven't exactly done it on purpose." She had been glancing at the horizon while speaking. Mothra hadn't wanted to look at her long-term partner. When she noticed the lack of response from the lizard, she glanced at him. Godzilla had been struck siIent. He barely breathed as he looked at her with wide eyes.
With a sigh, she continued. "I doubt any human creates something with the sole purpose of hurting nature. They need guidance more than anything else. Our existence has been a horrifying discovery for the humans. They fear things they do not understand. They fear you especially. We can't communicate with them properly in order to show that we aren't their enemies. I have seen many humans show kindness and attempt to learn about our kind. In turn, I have done the same for them. What have you done, Gojira? Have you taken a single moment to try to understand the species that inhabit this realm? There is so much more to them than destruction. I am aware that there are humans who have done horrific deeds. They made a machine to kill you and other titans. They created a bomb that killed all the life on Rodan's island while nearly killing you. Who were the ones that saved you, hm? Who were the ones that sacrificed themselves to pull you from the brink of death? If they hadn't intervened, Ghidorah would have destroyed the world! You cannot say that all humans are parasites when there are so many instances when they are anything but. The ungrateful one is you. You are millions of years old and are antagonizing the species that has existed for less that a fraction of that time!" Her voice raised slightly at the very end. It pained her to have to use such harsh words to the being she had adored for eons.
Godzilla still had yet to utter a sound, so Mothra took it as her chance to speak about the subject that was plaguing her the most. "Over the years, you have antagonized everyone. So much so that I have become your only ally. I do not know what happened to make you start asserting your power over our kind. I slowly saw you become someone so power hungry that you were willing to kill innocent beings who you thought posed a threat. I let my own feelings get in the way of stopping you. I have tried to justify your actions in my head for so long, but I see that I cannot do that anymore. My intentional ignorance only served to help myself, not our people. We have lost so many friends, yet you still try to instill fear on the few titans that remain. They do not respect you, Gojira. You are astonished at Rodan's rebellious nature despite the fact that you have wronged him too many times to count. He is strong willed and will not give in to fear. You should know how reckless he is. I am astonished at how far you have gone to keep him in line. You eliminated the being he treasured the most. After you killed his kind, Rodan had no one to raise him except Quetz...She was powerful and apparently a 'threat' that had to be removed." Mothra spat the last word viscously.
Her wings sagged a little, and Mothra looked away once more. "I have a part in her wrongful death. My lack of action costed her her life. I will regret my cowardice for the rest of my life. Rodan has never looked at me or you the same way ever since...Do you know why Rodan switched sides so easily? Do you? Or do you just think Rodan became a 'traitor' for kicks and giggles?" The once powerful voice Mothra had started to crack. Her next words were spoken in a broken whisper. "He hates us, Goji. He hasn't been treated with an ounce of care of respect in centuries. Ghidorah, as shocking as it may be, saw him as the fierce warrior he was always meant to be. It is obvious why he would choose him over you...Why he would attack me so brutally...Why he has risked execution at your claws just to bring Ghidorah back..." She grew quiet for a long, long time. When Rodan had pinned her during the battle in Boston, she could see the amount of pain and anger Rodan's golden eyes held. It was the first time seeing him since coming out of hibernation, and he was not the same titan she once knew. The impulsive yet caring hatchling she had found one day had turned into a winged beast that only looked at her with pure malice. And she could not bring herself to be upset at Rodan in the least.
Godzilla attempted to speak, but found himself with no words to say. His normal response would have been to lash out and attack. However, this wasn't any other troublesome titan. This was Mothra. His Mothra. She has never sounded so angry, hurt, and disappointed in him before. The silence enveloped them. One now too guilt-ridden to speak while the other was in a state of shock and denial.
It was deadly quiet for what seemed like hours.
The silence was eventually broken by a voice they hadn't heard for over a millennia.
"You must have done something very stupid for my sister to be this upset and for me to be awoken. I wonder what it could be..." Battra spoke with a teasing tone that was underlined with a hidden threat. His dark red eyes narrowed at the silent king. Behind him, the last titans on Earth stood before them; Battra, Scylla, Behemoth, Methuselah, the Queen MUTO, Baragon, and Biollante. None of them were happy. Well...Except for one.
At the sight of the titan he thought he had killed, Godzilla's eyes widened almost comically. A wide smile appeared on a familiar face. One covered with green vines and sharp teeth.
"Hey, big bro! I can't wait to see how you've fucked up!"
This was going to be quite the reunion.

"Hey, Rick?"
"What is it now, Sam?"
"Is it normal for Isla De Mara to suddenly have a radiation spike?"
A pause befell the two scientists. Each had stayed late to try to figure out the disappearance of a dangerous titan and the reappearance of an even more dangerous titan. To say that they were stressed would be an understatement.
"Radiation spike?"
"Yup."
The older scientist took off his glasses to rub the bridge of his nose. A headache had been forming for the past hour, and the sonographer desperately wanted to sleep. Now, he had to stay up for the rest of the night to look into the anomaly in the supposed inhospitable island. What else could go wrong?
"Also, I just got an alert that Kong is nowhere to be found."
Rick slammed his head on his desk and groaned in despair. His hands grasped at his white hair and pulled.
"Is this a bad time to mention that we're also out of coffee?"
"GODDAMMIT, SAM!"

San nuzzled Rodan's head for the umpteenth time. The three headed alien had yet to leave the pool of titan essence. His brothers had yet to return, but he had at least regained his missing tail and scales. The warmth of the pool and his birdie soothed his aches immensely. Being used to power that machine, unable to die, was the worst experience of his life. It was cold. So, so cold. He never wanted to be cold again.
"When do you think Ichi and Ni will return?" Rodan asked softly. He didn't mind the hydra's incessant need for touch, it was the opposite. After spending centuries hibernating in a volcano and being outcasted before and after said hibernation, it left the volcanic pteranadon feeling a sense of loneliness so strong that it hurt. His species were social creatures. Most titans lived in solitude and didn't form packs or flocks. Rodan had always seeked out the company of others. After his falling out with Godzilla, he never truly regained that sense of companionship again.
It was a large reason why the beaked titan enjoyed being with Ghidorah. Each of his heads had a separate personality. While they shared a body, they did not share a mind. Ni tended to be more aggressive and temperamental. He attacked first and didn't bother with questions ever. His impulsive tendencies led him to gain the most scars. The right head had a cracked horn and split lip. Ni was proud of the scars and bragged to his brothers about being stronger than them. Ichi was the leader of the siblings and acted as the eldest despite the alien hydra being born at the exact same time. Ichi tended to be calmer than his two brothers, but he would not hesitate to yell at them if they were annoying him too much. His patience was limited, but it was still more than what Ni and San were capable of. The middle head had the strongest hatred towards Godzilla for the treatment of his brothers. Ichi was protective of his brothers and did not take kindly to the radioactive lizard ripping off San's head. Speaking of the left head, San was the most curious of the three. He saw Earth as something to explore instead of destroy. He was the most willing to try any of the food Rodan brought. Additionally, he was the most affectionate with Rodan as well as his brothers. San was still capable of being ruthless when he wanted to, however. Out of the three of them, San was actually the most protective of their fierce birdie.
While Rodan had spent only a few days with Ghidorah, he had grown fond of them surprisingly quick. The alien was protective, but they knew that Rodan was powerful in his own right. He had missed them more than he thought he would in recent years. They had met in the past, but it was always during a battle or shortlived. Ghidorah would arrive on Earth, Godzilla would fight him alongside Mothra and any other titan who decided to help. This often included Rodan. The large hydra would retreat to space, come back, and it would repeat for years until Godzilla trapped the trio in ice.
A pleased hum left San's muzzle. "They seem to be more aware now. They'll likely regenerate completely soon." His eyes were closed in bliss. It was rare that the Golden Demise would feel such a thing as exhaustion or sore muscles. San did not enjoy feeling so...weak. He knew they were not supposed to be weak, but San knew better than to lie to himself and his brothers. They had been beaten badly at the claws of the Weak King and his infuriating entourage. The moth was a nuisance that had trapped them and given the stupid lizard immense power when the trio had incinerated her. She had pierced their birdie with a stinger that was filled with venom. Despite the years of battling her and her weak partner, Ghidorah had never noticed such a weapon. It made them unreasonable angry that the infernal insects would do such a thing, so they used their gravity beams to turn her into dust. It revived his well known opponent so much that all of their attacks were for naught. The dumb little creatures that had followed the titans around had also given the brutish king a boost in power. Not only that, but the annoying bugs had created a device that used cheap trickery to distract Ghidorah.
The next time Ghidorah would fight Godzilla, there would not be any cheap tricks that would aid the ugly reptile. No moth and no devices to help the king.
Ghidorah did not enjoy creatures who ruled over others. It was something the weak would do. And Ghidorah hated anything that was weak. The hydra enjoyed fighting, but not if the battle was rigged. While they usually won those unfair battles, it wasn't as fun. Additionally, the hydra had a special hatred for those that took control of the minds of others. While Ghidorah had done that himself, it was done to awaken the many hibernating titans. He didn't really control their every move because he was focused on other things like his birdie and defeating the old lizard. Ghidorah knew what it was like to not be in control of their own body. They knew how it felt to have every muscle move without their consent. The beings responsible are long gone now, but Ghidorah would never forget what they did.
A quiet chirp broke the left head out of his thoughts. Rodan had taken notice to how San had completely zoned out. San chuffed at the smaller titan to reassure him that he was alright. No other creature had ever cared for San accept his brothers. The three had always thought that they only had each other to rely on. This was true for most of their lives until a particular winged beauty came into their lives with a fiery passion.
They would both relish in getting revenge on the ones who wronged them. It would be a fight to remember.
At the thought, San purred and used his head to tuck Rodan close. It could take hours or even days for his brothers to literally come back from the dead. Until they returned, he was content to wait in the warmth of his fire bird.
Patience would be the most lethal weapon they'll need if they were to win.
"Wait one moment, dear." Mothra was looking off into the horizon. Infant Island was her beautiful home, but it was lonely. No other titans besides Godzilla and Angurius were allowed to come here. It was a rule she would never get used to. All that she could do was bask her grand wings in the sun. She sighed. "What did you want to tell me, Anguirus?"
Said titan was looking everywhere but her. Anguirus was the only other ally Godzilla and she had. His nervousness around her was concerning. It only made her heart ache to see what Godzilla's rule had done to their friends. Or what was left.
She barely recognized Goji.
Despite the guilt boiling within her, Mothra tried her best to appear regal. She walked towards Anguirus with her sharp, mantis-like legs and let out a soft chirr. If she pushed any further, the other titan would roll into a ball of hardened spikes. He had once been her and Godzilla's best friend. They did everything together. Now, he seemed terrified of her.
"It's...uhm...well's its kinda like...so..." Angurius stammered. His head was bowed so low that his green-grey snout hit the dirt. The single horn on his nose uncovered some of the earth. This was strange. While the crocodilian titan was awkward at times, he never got flustered like this. He was an incredibly fierce fighter. Any opponent that underestimated him for his smaller size would be met with a carapace of spikes. This submissive side of him was new.
The moth kaiju chirped. "Please, my friend. Tell me. It is clearly of upmost importance, and it is troubling you."
Anguirus lifted his head from the ground. His teal eyes hardened. "Ghidorah has returned."
Her bright blue eyes began to emit a crimson glow in anger. "That's impossible. Every cell of their's was incinerated in Boston."
"Not the head King Godzilla left in the ocean." Both titans grew silent. The fangs on Angurius' top jaw were fully revealed as he snarled. "The other titans felt the same thing. It's the same energy we felt during the Awakening."
Mothra knew exactly what the titan was talking about. That energy she had felt back then. It was dark and cold, demanding for nothing but destruction. But. Why hadn't she felt it if the others did?
"There's something else, my Queen."
"What would that be, dear?"
"Rodan has gone missing."
Everything around her stopped. The sun no longer felt warm. The birds no longer sang. The grass no longer swayed in the wind. Her mask of calm broke and her antenna quivered in fear.
Near the beach, Mothra saw it. There was ocean of being illuminated with a blue glow. A pulsing, blue glow.
And it was getting closer.

He couldn't stop. He couldn't stop. He. Couldn't. Stop.
Each flap of his powerful wings disturbed the clouds around him. The tunnel was forming. It would transport him to his true home. A place where he would finally be left alone. No pesky humans and no Godzilla.
The heat within his body increased exponentially. Any normal being would have died or turn to ash, but not him. Without this step, the tunnel would not be complete. Magma replaced blood, and it was boiling. He only flew harder, not caring that fire was beginning to engulf him. In fact, it felt great.
Rodan was f r e e.
Within his talons was his new purpose. The calls had only been getting louder and destroying cities could not keep them at bay anymore. Godzilla's warnings soon lost their effect on the giant pteranodon. He didn't care what the old lizard would do to him for defecting. Would he make Rodan take a nap for thousands of years? Against his will like last time? Yeah, because that is totally in character of him. Consent doesn't matter when you're the alpha. Why bother asking if you can just command everyone to do you bidding? Like killing your entire race just because they posed a threat.
Or murdering his own mother for being an alpha titan.
A thunderous screech was let out of him. His rage made the heat within him explode. Magma rose into his throat and he roared. It erupted from his beak like a volcano and it went straight into the tunnel. It made the entire sky turn a dusty red. The tunnel was complete. Home.
Yellow lighting hit the red skies. Rodan smiled at that, he gently pecked the skull. "I'll bring you back. I promise."
With no further hesitation, the winged titan flew into the flaming tunnel. As soon as it began, it was over. The skies and the clouds turned to normal.
But it was enough for every titan in the world to have seen it.
----
"It might be a glitch!" Coleman squeaked from his chair.
After the fiasco in Hong Kong, the outpost they had made there was abandoned. The news that the alien titan that had nearly destroyed the entire world had possibly returned was much more important. Immediately, a meeting was called and all factions were to meet at the ARGO. Needless to say, their military faction was not happy.
Colonel Foster slammed her hands on the glass table. "What the hell do you mean 'a glitch'?! Your highly advanced systems accidentally picked up a false reading of Monster Zero's very specific bioacoustics?"
The screen in front of them did nothing to calm to woman's frustrations. It was just like 2019. Monarch called all of them to this big boat to discuss a fucking eco-terrorist kidnapping a scientist and their daughter. Before she knew it, half her squadrons are dead and ancient monsters now roam the planet. Seeing that creature's name again should have been impossible.
"All we know is that he appeared when Rodan disappeared." Stanton stood up and walked to the screens. His joking nature was gone. "We know Hollow Earth exists thanks to Kong. However, we would have known if our big fire bird was with Kong already. I believe Rodan made a tunnel to a separate section of the Hollow Earth. His radiation must have awakened Ghidorah in some way as well."
Laughter was heard from the soldiers. Most were still relatively new after the grand losses Monarch took when fighting Ghidorah. The only ones that did not laugh were Colonel Diane Foster, Staff Sergeant Anthony Martinez, Chief Warrant Officer Jackson Barnes, and First Lieutenant Lauren Griffin. In other words, the G-Team. All of them had been the few survivors of the Monster Zero's wrath. All of them had seen what nature could truly be capable of.
Only a knife could cut the tense atmosphere. Monarch was used to being laughed at for their theories, but it still stung. Chen gave a nasty glare at the ones who were laughing. It had little effect.
"SHUT UP." Martinez barked. At once, silence fell over the base. The man was only thirty, but he now looked like he had aged by decades. He looked friendly with his freckled face, but he knew every way to hurt someone. "We all know what the titans are capable of, so stop fucking laughing. I saw what Rodan could do back on Isla de Mara."
He sighed. "I was there. The winds that demon created where stronger than any damn tornado. Buildings, cars, people were lifted off the ground like they weighed nothing. The entire town was destroyed in a matter of seconds. And we all saw the footage of him going after our air squadron. I don't think a dumb animal would know how to execute an aileron roll in midair perfectly."
"Damn straight. I doubt making a portal or some shit is a stretch for the giant turkey." Barnes said from his seat next to Martinez. He remembered the evacuation of the island inhabitants well. The only thing that you could hang on to was the ground and pray that you'll live.
Stanton smiled at the G-Team. He nodded his head in thanks before turning back to the screens. "We were never able to find Godzilla's resting place until we went through that underwater tunnel. It was in the Hollow Earth. How do I know this you may ask? Well. When we returned to the area to examine it after the nuke, we found nothing. I know the nuke would have destroyed everything, but I am talking about radiation. We experienced lethal levels of radiations the last time we were there. The second time we went, there were no traces of radiation." The doctor showed the different graphs they had taken. Several years ago, the levels were incredible high, shown on the graph with a curve. On the other hand, the curve completely disappeared for the newest recording.
At the end of the table, Madison and her father were engaged in an intense staring match. He was very upset when he heard that Rodan had been spotted in Hong Kong. Mark had been so terrified that he ran out of the court the second he got his daughter's text. She never texted him that she was okay unless she was trying to hide that she wasn't, in fact, okay.
The man wanted to keep his daughter away from the titans. Far, far away. Despite his best efforts, Madison only got more drawn to them as she got older. It was impossible to keep her away from Monarch or Godzilla or the idiotic podcast she listens to religiously. She made it clear that she wanted to work along side him and his colleagues when she got out of college. With all of her previous knowledge, Madison wouldn't need much training. All she would need to learn is to not throw herself into danger at every given opportunity.
In the background, Stanton was talking about a new mission: Find Rodan and Monster Zero. Mark already saw the glint in Madison's eyes, she wanted to go. His hard stare already answered the question. No.
He wasn't losing anyone else.
Just as the teen opened her mouth to retaliate, alarms blared. The Argo was bathed in red light as the staff and soldiers all sprang into action. Everyone knew that the alarms only signaled for one thing- titans. However, the base was not shaking like it usually does when a titan approaches. It was too quiet.
Running to his computers, Stanton frantically typed in a few commands. "Godzilla's bioacoustics don't match up. He's not underwater."
"But he's the only aquatic titan!" Colonel Foster shouted.
"That we know of!"
"Are you saying there are more of these monsters-"
"ENOUGH, BOTH OF YOU." Mark ran a hand through his already messy hair. He ran to Stanton's desk, placing a hand on his chin. "All animals use bodies of water in some way. It isn't restricted to the ones with gills. Polar bears aren't aquatic, but they have been seen swimming for days to find new hunting grounds. Hell, we saw that Kong could swim."
Within the many files of titan names, there was one that stood out among the rest. Scylla.
She had been residing in both the North and South Pole. With her help, the melting of the ice caps slowed drastically. The Arctic Ocean had been frozen over again, giving the animals their home back. If any titan was able to travel through the water, it was her.
After telling this to Stanton, the sonographer put in her bioacoustics. In an instant, the alarms stopped as they were replaced with the steady heartbeat of the titan. She was calm.
"Can you fly us up before she turns us into popsicle sticks?" Rick said to Foster. The colonel nodded and ordered her team to get into positions. Flying the Argo was a feat of human ingenuity. It took five pilots, four for each engine and one to lead.
"Let's do this." Griffin smirked. She was the best pilot on the G-Team and in Monarch. That title was truly earned when she piloted a plane with a malfunctioning engine with civilians on board. Not only that, Griffin had to fly through the hurricane that Ghidorah had created and the winds of Rodan's deadly wings.
The other pilots went in there seats with Colonel Foster at the helm. Slowly, the moving base rose out of the water and into the sky. Each roar of the engines shook the ground like a titan normally would. "Steady." The women spoke. "Be prepared to fire the canons. We don't know if this 'Scylla' is aggressive or not."
As the Argo breached the water's surface, everyone was met with a magnificent scene. A 341 foot tall titan with six crab-like legs and a head with ten pink tentacles and a grey shell. It was Scylla in all her cephalopod-spider crab glory. Each step she took caused a thick layer of ice to develop over the ocean. However, the real site was behind her.
Titans of all shapes and sizes walked besides her. Including Scylla, the humans counted seven titans. And they were going in the same direction.
It left an uneasy feeling in the air. At least, the titans didn't seem to pay any mind to the Argo flying above them. The fact that Monarch's sensors did not alert the staff of this mass awakening was enough to scare the scientists. This wasn't good. That much was obvious. In a matter of days, everything that could go wrong was going wrong. Rodan had been their top priority with his attacks, and he is now gone without a trace. Godzilla was not anywhere near his territory, so he could be destroying a town right now. The titans were supposed to be hibernating, yet they're here on the now frozen Pacific Ocean. And apparently Monster Zero is alive! Is he the one calling the titans again? Will the Earth be under attack again?
"They are being called by Gojira." Chen's soft voice broke through the chaos. She kept her eyes on the titans, they moved as calmly as she spoke. "He has sensed Ghidorah's energy like we have. Godzilla has told them to come to Infant Island immediately."
"How the hell do you know that? Did Miss Cthulhu tell you?" Rick asked incredulously.
Both doctors looked at said titan. She was letting out various chitter and squeals. It was similar to Mothra's calls, but it was in a deeper tone.
Chen laughed, shaking her head. "No." The scientist then pointed at a larva titan. The being was covering in black plates that had red spots with yellow outlines. Its many legs and horns were golden in color. "He did."
Everyone gathered around the window to see the creature. They had never seen him before. No files matched his description.
"Mosura's ani. Mothra's older brother." She touched the window and closed her eyes. Chen pressed her forehead against the cool glass before turning back towards her very confused coworkers.
Doctor Chen had a glaze in her eyes when she spoke once more.
"Titanus Battra. God of Vengeance."

.
Volcanoes erupted as Rodan flew over them. The land seemed to glow with the amount of lava covering it. All the creatures of his home didn't seem to mind the magma nor smoke. They were are impervious to heat as Rodan was.
He needed something hotter.
Rodan beat his wings as much as he could to clear the volcanic ash in the air. His true home was well hidden, only other members of his species could find it.
It didn't take long to locate the place. The giant pteranodon recognized the unique stones that made up his ancestral nest. His kind spent years forming each rock with the magma and dirt of the land. It was built against a giant cliff and seemed to blend seamlessly into it. However, he knew that if you generate strong enough winds, the rocks would be pushed back. An entrance into the cliff would then be revealed.
So, the fire bird did just that. He was in his element when he was in the sky. The feel of the wind against his hardened magma armor felt great. It was so strong that he felt it underneath the plates. His feathers.
That was the old him. He didn't need his feathers anymore. In fact, he didn't want to see them ever again.
They were a reminder of his mistakes.
"I'm home." He whispered. Rodan then went inside the cliff opening. He placed the skull in his beak and walked around the empty caverns. Well, his version of walking. It involved him crawling on all fours; his legs and wings. The three claws on each wing helped him grip against the smooth stone.
Energy was surging through him like never before. Not even the hottest of volcanoes could give him the same amount of pure fire as his home. The radiation soothed his tired body. His puncture wound from Mothra's venomous stinger finally stopped hurting. It had caused him great pain for the past few years, ever since the Queen stabbed him. All this time, the hole that went through his shoulder never closed. It remained open, no matter how much he submerged himself in lava. Relief washed over him as tissue closed the injury once and for all.
Because Mothra had pierced through Rodan's armor, his skin was vulnerable. In other words, his feathers could be seen. Fortunately, the amount of expose skin was small, so it would be hard to notice the blood red feathers.
He wanted to pluck them out, but he had more important things to do. The skull in his beak practically vibrated with power, telling him to find find find need energy now now-
The command focused the bird and he made his was to the center of the nest. Rodan simply followed the increasing warmth, ignoring the many sculptures of his species and the many perches he once rested on with her. He didn't have the time.
When the heat reached its peak, Rodan looked down. An amber jewel was underneath him. It was in the shape of a pillar and barely the size of his claws. Carefully, he grasped the crystal pillar in his talons and began to pull. He flapped his wings until he was airborne, still holding to structure. He tugged as hard as he could until a click was heard.
From that click, the pillar lengthened until it was taller than him. The ground around him rumbled as ancient stones moved for the first time in centuries. He had to move away from the center as the rocks separated into six circles. As the stone circles span slowly, Rodan saw they were moving down. A liquid too hot to be lava filled the cavity. Its color was a mix between orange and white. Titan Essence.
Through the cracks, the liquid spread. The floor that was once dull was now ignited with precious light. It looked like veins of fire running through the stone and it kept going. It went to the walls, statues, perches. Everything. He even saw an several smaller pools be filled with the substance. In the center, a hole in the wall appeared and suddenlty jutted out liquid energy like a waterfall.
It was beautiful.
Rodan crawled towards the center pool. It was so big that Ghidorah could stretch out his wings and there would still be extra room. Speaking of them...
Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Please. Energy. Need it. Need. Brothers. Brothers. Yes. Yes. Yes.
He leaned over the pool with the skull. Everyone said that Ghirdorah would be gone forever, yet here they were. Alive.
The titan opened his beak, dropping Ghidorah's left skull into the deep pool below.
Now, he would wait. Rodan didn't care if he had to wait for millennia for Ghidorah to reform. No one could come for him here. He had all the time in the world. The titan was more than used to being alone.
Then that alien came into his life.
Right off the bat, he knew Ghidorah was crazy and should not be trusted. They had met many times before only for the King to send the hydra back to space. But they always returned. When Ghidorah got unfrozen, Rodan was warry about the three brother's intentions towards him. However, each of them wanted his help. He would be their warrior and partner.
You are very strong, birdie.
We have not seen any other creature fight with so much ferocity.
Help use destroy the Weak King and the vermin he protects.
If you pledge your loyalty to us, we will repay your efforts a million times over.
And he did. The humans destroyed his nest. His parent's nest. Those bugs labeled him a monster while they kill millions of creatures every day. It wasn't fair.
R E F O R M
"What the fuck?!" Rodan squawked.
The pool began to bubble. It them started to boil. Not good. Rodan quickly stepped back from the edge. They can't regenerate that fast, can they?
Suddenly, a spiked tail emerged. It released a deafening rattle to scare off any potential threats. The second one seemed to be missing. A malformed wing them breached. It was leathery and lacked any scales. There were still holes in the tissue that were slowly being closed.
Three horns poked through the hot liquid. Finally, a snout was seen
Instantly, Rodan recognized the head. "San! Can you hear me?"
No response came from the left Ghidorah head. He shook his head from side to side, getting the essence off of him and onto the walls. His yellow eyes looked around the temple with curiosity.
"San?"
"Birdie?" San's voice was ragged and pained. It hurt to hear. "Is that you?"
Rodan cooed to the scared hydra. It was strange seeing them like this, but his need to comfort overpowered his discomfort. The larger titan snapped his head towards his voice and locked eyes with the Fire Demon.
It was then that Rodan noticed the deep scar on San's neck. It was jagged and was located exactly where his head was torn off by Godzilla. As his body rose from the pool, the smaller titan noticed the two lumps. Ichi and Ni had not reformed yet.
A whine left San. He bent his long neck to nudge Rodan's warm body. "The humans. They wouldn't let me die with my brothers. I was turned into this disgusting monster."
While it was true that San was the more emotional of the three heads, he never cried or whined. He was just as lethal as his brothers. Seeing him act like a hatchling was disturbing. What had the humans done to him-
Mechagodzilla.
Rage filled the titan. That hunk of metal used San. No wonder Hong Kong smelled so familiar and wrong. He had found the skull hooked up to so many machines, it took several tugs to get it out. The vermin had degraded Ghidorah's body and did not let their spirit to rest. There was nothing more insulting.
"I can feel them. Ichi and Ni. They are alive and they're angry." San spoke with a shaky voice, far from his usual bravado. His eyes then darkened. "I'm angry."
"Good. We can get rid of the humans once and for all once you've healed."
"No. That would be too general. This is personal, birdie." The alien titan started to groom Rodan's horns. A deep rumble came from him, purring. "I love that bloodlust of yours. However, we should first go after the ones that aided in Godzilla's victory and the ones who turned me into a lab rat. How does that sound, hm?"
"Monarch and Apex." Rodan responded with a snarl. "I know the names well."
Sans purring grew louder in volume. "Such a smart bird. We'll kill them all and then go after Godzilla. This time, he won't have any pesky humans to aid him. He will grow weaker and weaker as we grow stronger."
"We?"
"Yes, love. We. You will deliver the killing blow. The tyrant that you have been under for so long will die under you claws." San rubbed against Rodan's neck, scenting him. The nickname was new and the volcanic titan did not know how to feel about it. "Do you agree?"
Rodan went silent for a bit. He lost everyone he loved because of Godzilla. It was his turn. The fire bird chirped a reply.
The king will fall one way or another. By Ghidorah, by the humans contraption, by Rodan, or by himself. Godzilla was an expert at self sabotaging. He pushed everyone away until they no longer wanted anything to do with him or feared him. This time, the giant lizard's death would be his own fault.
His nest in Fiji was comfortable, but it wasn't right. The lava was not hot enough, the air was too dry, the snow annoyed him, and the tiny bugs would not leave him alone.
Rodan had tried to make them leave. His efforts failed because the bugs were more persistent than the giant pteranodon thought. They had even built new bridges just to stand and watch him. Every day, their metal birds surrounded him. It seemed like the bugs had endless supplies of the metal birds because they were always there with their constant buzzing. The titan never had a moment alone.
So, he began rebelling.
Of course, Godzilla had ordered all titans to go dormant again. He specified that the bugs- humans were not to be messed with. Said orders were not from the radioactive lizard, but his queen. Mothra wanted to make sure that the people of this Earth would be protected while she reformed.
The King gave Rodan his own orders. After his acts of treason, Godzilla was rightfully pissed at him. He had received quite the earful from the titan.
Every titan bowed before their King, including Rodan. In fact, he was the first one to bow.
After Godzilla sent the others away, he snarled at the winged titan furiously.
"Stay here." He spat.
The two had never gotten along. Despite Godzilla's alpha status, Rodan never seemed to respect him that much. His most recent actions truly showed that. Even so, there was a time where they had been close.
But that was long ago.
Right now, the only thing Godzilla was regarding him with was pure disgust. "You are a traitor, Rodan. The second you saw the tides turn, you went along with it. And you followed that thing."
"That thing treated me with respect. Unlike you."
"And yet you let me kill them. Some loyalty." Godzilla leaned down to be at eye level with the shorter titan. His brown eyes bore into the smaller's amber ones. "Ghidorah only saw you as a slave. You only stayed with them because you're alone and weak. You're a hench-monster, Rodan. You're only meant to serve a stronger titan."
Despite the entire city of Boston being destroyed moments ago, it hadn't been quiet. There was the roaring rain and the sounds of battle.
Now, the sky was clear.
The silence was so heavy that nothing dared pierce it. Not even the humans and their nosiness
Usually, Rodan would have screamed at the insults being thrown at him. The titan was known for having a short temper, yet he stayed quiet. He wasn't angry. No. What Godzilla had said had broken Rodan. Something within the titan shattered and it would never be fixed. He is the King of the Skies and yet he is still deemed the King's bitch.
Godzilla was the King because he was powerful, not chosen. The other titans submitted to him out of the need to survive, not respect. At least Mothra went out of her way to befriend her subjects. The Queen also lacked the arrogance of her partner. He underestimated everyone, including Rodan. It would be his downfall.
The reptilian titian stood up to his full height. "You are to go find a nest immediately. The others will begin hibernating, but you won't. I can't leave you to your own devices anymore. Don't do anything to the humans either. Mothra's orders."
Red hot anger bubbled to the surface. With as much sarcasm as he could muster, Rodan spoke venomously. "Anything else, my king?"
It made the lizard smile wickedly. His sharp teeth were on full display. "Yes, actually. If you ever commit treason again, you will be slaughtered. Any mate you have will be killed. Any horrid offspring you produce will be crushed. Is. That. Clear."
"Yes."
Nobody at Monarch had anticipated another titan to be coming to Hong Kong. The entire city had been decimated from the fight between the two alpha titans.
So why were they picking up a certain Fire Demon’s signature?
While most of the staff were panicking, a few seemed relatively relaxed. Doctor Rick Stanton, the chief sonographer, was a man in his early fifties with white hair. He had a mischievous glint in his brown eyes and was currently bantering with his colleague Doctor Ilene Chen. The woman was in her thirties, but she had knowledge that surpassed any elder.
“Twenty bucks that Big Bird is looking for his boyfriend.”
“Shut up, Rick.” Chen glared at the man murderously.
“Then why am I picking up on those special calls, hm? Our fire chicken wouldn’t be making them if he wasn’t looking for Ghidorah.”
Before the senior mythographer could respond, the ground began to shake. The makeshift base Monarch had set up wasn’t strong enough to withstand Rodan’s super sonic winds. His signature screech could now be heard a mile away.
From the back, a voice popped up. “I think he’s looking for Ghidorah’s skull.”
Madison Russell had grown into a confident teenager over the past few years. She looked at everyone with a firm gaze as she walked towards a computer, starting to type.
“Mechagodzilla could only work because of the psionic link between the pilot and the mech. They were able to develop that type of technology using Ghidorah.”
She uploaded an image to the large screen the outpost had. It was Monster Zero in all its three-headed glory. “I have a feeling that each of Ghidorah’s heads were separated beings. They just shared a body and used telepathy to communicate with one another.”
A video was now shown. This one was of the hydra regenerating it’s head. “Even though Ghidorah lost its left head, it grew back and it had the same personality. The left one is clearly more curious than the other two and stays that way. It must have neurons all throughout its body.”
Madison then sighed. “I saw his skull. Those neurons are still alive. If Ghidorah was able to take over Mechagodzilla, then who’s to say that he won’t be able to send a signal to Rodan? He’s an alien with telepathic powers.”
It was Madison who told Monarch to look into Apex. They actually listened to her. However, they could not go into the facility that once held Mechagodzilla. Until they could get the government’s approval, Monarch would have to sit and wait. Additionally, Apex was refusing any investigations.
“Is it a bad time to add that Rodan is here?”
“SAM!”
The red headed technologist winced. “Sorry, I got caught up in the presentation! It certainly is fascinating how we managed to get the recordings of Monster Zero with such clarity. With his level of radiation, it should have made the active pixel sensors go crazy and-”
Everyone stared.
“I’ll shut up now. Big monster. Yeah.”
Stanton slapped him on the shoulder. “Don’t worry about it, Coleman. No one cares.”
“Find a stable area without any windows.” A tenseness filled the air within seconds as Dr. Chen gave our orders. Ever since Serizawa sacrificed himself, she had taken his place as leader. “Try to find something to hold onto as well.”
The shrieks from the titan grew in volume. It shook the very ground they stood on. All the lights were turned off to avoid catching Rodan’s attention.
He had been especially vengeful lately.
Madison sent a quick text to her father, telling him that she’s okay. She had convinced him into letting her stay here while he attended to a meeting with the Supreme Court. They government was ordering Monarch to exterminate Rodan immediately, but they refused. It would be a waste of time to even try to take down the temperamental bird.
She hid underneath the observation desk while still trying to get a look at the titan. Yes, it was stupid. The girl was fully aware of that.
But she couldn’t help it. Something about animals seemed to draw her attention like nothing else. Especially the titans. There was so much more to them than most people realized.
Through the window, Madison saw Rodan’s massive form land on the mountain that had once been an Apex Facility.
Even from here, she could smell the smoke that the pteranodon naturally emitted. The edges of his wings glowed a brilliant orange from the magma flowing through him.
If Rodan got too close, he could kill them all within seconds. They were lucky enough that the titan had chosen to land far from the Monarch Outpost. All of his focus seemed to be on the mountain he was now perched on. His black talons acted as a shovel before his beak soon replaced it.
When Rodan woke up, Monarch finally had the chance to examine his anatomy up close. Even though he didn’t have any teeth, the many serrations on his beak were sharp enough to cut through anything. While the rest of his body was a dark red, his beak, claws, and talons were black. It was like he had been dipped in ashes.
The outpost trembled as the titan began to peck at the mountain. It’s sharp point effortlessly tore away at centuries worth of sediment. Madison watched in awe as Rodan practically ripped the thing in half.
An ear piercing screech came from the volcanic bird before it’s head went inside the mountain. The staff at Monarch all sat with baited breath to see what the unpredictable titan would do.
After minutes of waiting, Rodan’s head re-emerged with its prized. Instead of a crow pecking a tree to get a worm. The Fire Demon had destroyed a mountain to get a very familiar skull.
Just like Madison had said.
With a flap of his wings, he took off, destroying the rest of the Apex Facility as he did so.
Once again, everything rattled. It didn’t not take very long for it to stop, fortunately. The staff recovered and went back to their posts.
“Uh. Guys?”
“What is it now, Sam?” Rick pinched the bridge of his nose. He was already getting a headache just thinking about the repercussions they were going to get from Apex. And the government. And the military.
Sam was back at his desk and had a worried look on his face. He scratched incessantly at his beard. His shoulders were tense as his eyes stayed glued to his computer. “Rodan just completely disappeared from our radars. Even though we just saw him go.”
“You’ve gotta be kidding me.” Ilene said. The woman then reached into her pocket and grabbed a ten dollar bill, giving it to Rick. She then walked over to examine Sam’s findings.
“I was right about the Hollow Earth and now I’m right completely and totally right about this.” Rick said ominously.
With much pride, the white haired scientist smiled at the very confused Madison. “Hollow Earth isn’t actually Earth. It’s like a pocket dimension. Kinda like Hogwarts. It exists on the same plane but also doesn’t.”
“That makes no sense.”
“Sure it does! I’ve been making a theory of my own. The Hollow Earth is where the titans get their energy, sure, but they have their own areas to do it. They can’t all go to the same watering hole.”
Hearing that made her think for a bit. “So, you’re saying that each titan has a biome of its own?”
Rick’s smile brightened. “Exactly!” He bent over his desk and began scribbling in his notebook. The pencil that he usually keeps in his ear was finally brought out to begin drawing a crude sketch. It showed an island, an ocean, and the sky.
The piece of land was in the corner and had a cartoonish drawing of Kong. Another sketch of Godzilla was scene in the ocean. Finally, a drawing of Rodan was scene in the sky with some clouds.
“When Kong went into Hollow Earth, it was strangely suited just for him. There were trees, vines, and statues of his ancestors. If it what we saw with Kong is where all titans go, then it should have not been so specialized for a monkey titan, right?”
He drew tunnels around the three titans, all pointing which ever directions. “We found where Godzilla resides in the Hollow Earth. It’s completely underwater. Most titans are not aquatic. There has been no sightings of an ocean or any salt water where Kong now resides.”
“The Hollow Earth is like a mansion.” Madison whispered. Her eyes light up in realization. “It’s one house with different rooms. And the titans-”
“Have their own key.” Both of them said at the same time.
“You’re a smart kid.” Rick nodded at her.
“I try.”
In the corner, Doctor Sam Coleman was losing his mind. The very complicated system that kept track of the titans was now ruined. He had worked for weeks to get each of their signatures into his tracking program. A color coded triangle represented each titan and where they were located.
Rodans red triangle had disappeared.
That wasn’t the biggest problem, though. Another triangle had appeared mere moments ago. Exactly where Rodan’s had vanished.
It was yellow. The label with the titan’s name glitched repeatedly.
