He's not you and he'll never love me the same way. He doesn't know the secrets you learned through the past years. But he adores me in a way you don't seem to know. I need both kinds of love to keep my heart alive. The intimacy and physical closeness and the feeling of being someone special, someone you really love and are ready to fight for.

I’m not the girl for love letters, so this is none! I’m the girl for sad poems, which are filled with love, if you are ready to find it. I’m the girl with the messy mind and the thoughts that can’t be put into order. I don’t know, if your mind ever felt like that. It’s screaming at night, when I’m trying to sleep. Telling me thousands of possibilities of what could happen. And sometimes falling apart, making me feel like I’m worth nothing and there is no sense in this life. But there are people who make me feel different and you are one of them. You make me feel like there is something more to aim for than grades, which can turn me so far down, when they are not as good as I hoped. But sometimes your smile can lift me up again.

“She’s highly depressed.” “How do you know?” “You can see it every time she looks at the ground with that sad smile. You can see it in her eyes every time she looks at you. She constantly has that sad look on her face and it won’t fade away.” He spent half his time at uni watching her and it still took him months to figure this out.

Probably men are all the same. As soon as you have been together for a while they start thinking they are allowed to do anything. They touch you, wherever they want, whenever they want. Do you even have a say in this anymore? This is your body and this is your life! Do whatever you want with it and don't let anyone prepossess either one of them.

I’d never really fallen in love with a boy who loved me back at the same time. I’d never flirted with someone I barely knew, but I could already feel the energy between us. We clicked as if we belonged together and I always want to be close to you. You messed up my mind and I don’t know how we should go on. It feels so right to be next to you, but I thought I belonged to someone else.

And she said: “One day it will be over. One day one of us will be lying on the floor, drowning in his own tears.” It took him days to think this through and then he told her he didn’t want to be the one crying, but he didn’t want her to cry either.

You don't even bother to fight for me. You really want to let me go that easy? I love you still, but you don't give me the feeling that you love me back anymore. I can't go on with a boyfriend who doesn't make me feel loved. You don't want to spend time with me and we barely talk. What has happened? Why don't you fight for the life we had? It feels like it doesn't matter to you anymore. I don't matter to you. Stop pretending that everything is alright.

She said she didn’t believe in forever anymore, until that one person came along and changed her mind.

You never fought for me so don't blame me for giving up on you. You didn't fight, not even before we got together. It was just your luck that I fell in love with you before you got over me. This isn't enough for me and you can't blame me. You tell me you love me, but I can't see it. I want a boy who shows me his love so I can feel it. A boy who will fight to get me and fight to keep me by his side. Or do I have to call this a man, while you are still a little boy?

A suicide note doesn't make anything easier. You might be able to explain why you had to go, but it won't change a thing about the fact that you are gone and you will never come back. There will be so many people missing you. They thought they could never live without you, but now you leave them no choice.

She fell in love with July, when the sun was high till eight and didn’t set before ten. She loved the smell of roses and the taste of lemon ice cream. Loved walking around in shorts outside till midnight or even dawn. She was a summer girl, loved to see her skin turn darker while her hair turned lighter. You could see her shine those days, when the sun was on her face. These days made her feel alive after those dark and cold months had made her feel like she was only existing. She was in love with life for only a few weeks and the sadness that came back with September told her that she needed something else to keep her alive and living. The sun in summer wasn’t enough to prevent her from freezing in winter. She needed a love that stayed and wouldn’t leave her every fall to come back in spring or turn away every night like the sun. Someone who loved her back with the same energy, who could love her as much as she loved summer.

She tried to hide behind her perfect body and her perfect grades. Once in a while she believed it herself. Believed that she had a perfect life. But there was nothing perfect. She was all broken behind this pretty masquerade. Her whole life was a lie. Everyone believed she had it all together, nobody saw that it all fell apart. She flew into gyms and libraries, when nobody made time for her. There were so many boys who loved her from afar. But all the people close to her didn’t see her worth.

You have to break her to make her write a good poem. Cause broken pieces are her best inspiration.

She had the face of an angel and the heart of a lion. She fought for her dreams and for those of others. She was a muse, inspired a lot of people to dream a little bigger  and love a little harder. In dark times people came to her, because she was glowing and the light was ready to guide them. She inspired the whole world to dream of a future they would have never imagined without having seen how powerful and beautiful this young girl was. Her name was Hope.
