Harvey groaned to himself when he heard the familiar voice of one of his rivals from so many years ago. He hadn't expected Travis Tanner of all people to stop by.

He looked up from his computer screen and stared at Tanner. "Maybe you missed the name on the wall. Specter-Ross Law. Half this firm belongs to me. Does it matter what city it's in?"

Tanner leaned with practiced nonchalance against the doorframe. A wry smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he surveyed Harvey's office, taking in the sleek lines and minimalist decor that– while similar in aesthetic– seem incongruous with the grandeur of his former post back in Manhattan.

“Maybe, maybe not,” he pondered aloud. With measured steps, Tanner breached the threshold, traversing the office floor with deliberate intent. His gaze canvassed every detail in broad sweeps, silent critique thinly veiled beneath a facade of casual interest. Stopping by the bookcase containing Harvey's vast vinyl collection, he plucked a record from the shelf, turning it over in his fingers.

“Some nice digs you got here,” he said, casting a sidelong glance at Harvey. “Real charming.”

Sliding the record back onto the shelf: “But, c'mon, let's face it, we both know that you're not one for second-tier cities,” Tanner chuckles. “Tell me. What’s got you stuck out here in the rain? You running from something, Harv?”
