//Clearly, I haven't been around much lately and when I am it's usually tag games, PSAs or random other things. Not as much IC things like asks and threads. Things are just going to be slow like this probably from now on. I'm still around and if you're a mutual you can IM me. I made IMs to mutuals only to protect myself a bit because of the scammers and whatnot going around recently.

That being said, I also turned off anon. It's going to stay that way for now. However, if you still want to send an ask and be anonymous, you can. Just put "anon" in front of your ask and I'll make a separate post for you without revealing your URL. So just send the ask like this: (anon) *insert question/message*.

Asks can be sent by anyone whether we're mutuals or not. When it comes to threads, I'm making that mutuals only to try and keep things organized and not overwhelm myself. If we have a thread going already and you want it to continue, just let me know. Want to start a new one? We can try and work something out in IMs or however you wanna go about it.

I'm on a new browser so I won't be able to cut posts, beware of that. I know it's annoying but I can't do anything about that on this browser.

It goes without saying that things are going to be slow so don't expect quick five minute or daily replies anymore. Things are replied to when they're replied to. I'll try to at least get one reply out a week, maybe more than one if I can manage.

The brains

People are not so much your forte. You are more at home with thoughts, ideas, hobbies, skills. As such, you probably have to learn how to work well with others--but once you do, hey, it has its moments. While you are treasured for your ability to solve problems, people also have this unique love of novelty. When you break from your schedule, when you say something no one is expecting--that's novel. You are as curious and lovable as the subjects you study. You are family. This place is not the same without your witty comments and wry observations. You definitely feel more comfortable when someone needs a straightforward answer than a shoulder to cry on, but it's not impossible to give both. Know that your family loves you for more than that, though, and will (usually) remember to respect your boundaries.

This is all you've ever wanted. You and them and the promise of a future. You should be getting ready too. But you lay in bed for a moment, still feeling the traces of their warmth on the sheets, their scent on your skin. You watch how carefully they choose their outfit for the day.
