☆I'm a disabled 26 year old nonbinary traditional artist. I use they/them pronouns.

☆I'm pan and poly and currently engaged to one of my partners. I'm an otherpaw dog and frog.

☆Art is my passion in life. Drawing and mask commissions are welcome! Other hobbies include scrapbooking, painting, and stuffed animal collecting!

Every time I get really angry lately about the state of things and the apparent visible downfall of my country, I try to think of this man

And I think about how angry he must have been when the US tried to cancel PBS in 1969, and how that anger drove him to speak to the Senate about how important it is to care for the mental health of children.

I try to think of this man

and how angry he must have been that there wasn't enough children's television that supported diversity, individuality, creativity, education, and love. And how that anger drove him to work with his friends to start Sesame Street.

My heroes were probably furious, and unfortunately they were probably furious about a lot of the same things I am. They took those feelings and put them toward education, kindness, and belief in the children of the upcoming generations. I need to do the same. It is the only thing that will keep me from having an aneurysm, and the only thing I can think of that might help.

I love fraggle rock for a lot of reasons, but one of the lines that I think about constantly is from the end of episode two when Wembley says "I didn't realize that they were treating me so badly until they tried to do it to you." that hits so close to home it breaks my heart every time.
