Even though they were older than their characters, I think Geraldine Somerville and Adrian Rawlins did a great job playing James and Lily Potter. I believe that this is how they may look like if they grew older.

It annoys me that people think hufflepuffs are stupid or stoners or doormats the sorting hat song says we are loyal and unafraid of toil (hard work) I didn't hear idiot in that at all I'm proud to be a hufflepuff

Okay so as i agree with the whole stupid thing, being a stoner does NOT mean you're stupid. And most stoners have those same traits. Being a stoner means you like to chill, smoke weed, eat some munchies, be around the people you love, it means you're open minded and aren't afraid to stand up for your beliefs. A lot like Hufflepuffs, stoners are often left underestimated, judged and seen as stupid, etc. Stoners and Hufflepuffs have a lot in common, that's the only reason people say they're the stoner house. It's not a bad thing, and it DOESN'T mean you have to smoke weed to be a Hufflepuff. It's just a fun theory. Why do you have to ruin it for us having fun with it?

What other people see when they watch the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them trailer: oh cool a new Harry Potter gotta watch this movie!

What I see: holy crap they just mentioned Hogwarts they’re talking about Hogwarts. What, what, what, they just mentioned Dumbledore, fricking Dumbledore, will Dumbledore be in the future movies omg Dumbledore. Newt sounds a lot like Hagrid I fricking love this man already. What is he doing with all those plants, that looks sorta like weed, yes I knew it Hufflepuff is the stoner house, now I can sort my sister into Hufflepuff yay. Omg, omg, omg, Hedwig’s theme, oh god the feels, this feels like a new Harry Potter now! This feels like back in the good all days, with this movie and hpatcc, it reminds me of the feeling I got waiting for Harry Potter when I was younger, oh god the feels and the excitement! When the heck can I book tickets to see this movie I wanna book my tickets now!!!!

I’m so tired of the sterotypical au’s and depictions of Hufflepuffs.

Give me hufflepuffs that go crazy at every quidditch match, loyalty is what they’re known for, if you don’t think every single hufflepuffshows up to a match completley covered in yellow and black you’re wrong. I want hufflepuffs who get furious at each match, players yelling at Madame Hooch and getting kicked off the pitch. Ever been to a high school football game? You know the parents who go absolutely insane when they don’t like a ref’s call? Imagine that, but instead of parents, hundreds of students all dressed in hufflepuff colors.

I want hufflepuffs that curse like sailors. I want older hufflepuffs who got into fistfights with other students because they were bullying a first year. I want to hear about the amazing pranks hufflepuffs pull with their herbology knowledge. Imagine after losing a bet with a member from a different house a angry/bitter hufflepuff sends the winner of the bet a sunflower as a “good-job-winning-that-bet” present. But as soon as the winner waters the sunflower it grows like 20 times it’s normal size (and sunflowers can get huge on their own any way). So the winner has to deal with this giant ass sunflower in their domitory. Or giving the winner ivy that never stop growing. Imagine getting a nice little pot of ivy as a gift and a week later it’s so long that it’s covered the floor and celling of the dormitory and trailing out into the common room.

I want to hear how hufflepuffs manage to steal gillyweed from the greenhouse and have secret late night adventures in the lake. Befriending the merpeople and learning about all the magical aquatic plants there.

If you don’t think hufflepuffs were giant stoners you’re wrong. (especially in the seventies ohmygodd)

Stop depicting hufflepuffs super cudly, sing-a-long every week type of people, sure they can be like that. They’re loyal and very accepting, but you can’t tell they wouldn’t kick ass and be total assholes when they wated to be! I’m tired of the happy, bright-eyed hufflepuffs who wear flower crowns 24/7. Badgers can be vicious if threatened, so let’s see the vicious side of hufflepuffs too!

Hogwarts Houses Stoned

Gryffindor: The braggart stoners. "420 rocks!" "Stoners 4ever!!!" Very proud to smoke the marijuana....and everyone must know!

Hufflepuff: The goofy stoners. Inside jokes that will never make sense when sober, laughs a little harder and longer at everything. Especially fond of Weasly's Wizard Weezes.

Ravenclaw: The philosophical stoners. Lounges around asking deep, meaningful "what is the meaning of life" type questions. Also v. big into conspiracy theories. "The owls are just used to spy on us"

Slytherin: The adventurous stoners. Feels the need to go look for something new and exciting to do. Maybe get up to a little bit of trouble. "To the forbidden forest!"
