Asking for advice

How do I tell my family, who are supportive and loving and have never done anything to make me seriously upset or traumatize me, that my father is a major trigger to my anxiety? When he comes home I just get so upset I have to lock myself in my room, he's been absolutely nothing but loving and wonderful and would never hurt me, but I am absolutely terrified of him. Whenever I have to ask him for help or to sign something for school or whatever, I would rather wait until my mom can do those things bc I hate asking him for things he has to work for.

Unpopular Opinion

Pride month should celebrate all love, not just LGBT. Being comfortable in ones sexuality or gender identity is important and should be celebrated. When those against the LGBT Community were taking action and we beat them by getting our right, they were teaching their kids to hate us, but now we’re teaching our kids to hate them back.

Pride is about celebrating love, not giving a platform for those who were silenced to hate those who silenced them. Use your platform to spread love. Love is how this world will heal itself.
