Honestly it wasn’t that cool, it wasn’t like, robot-son levels of cool anyways, or anything like that, sadly enough.

Honestly? She just had to ask the right guy.
Luckily the right guy was right here.

“I totally got something cool we can hit up, someone told me about it, like, last week!” e was always prepared for crimes.

“Hey Cap'n, didn’t expect t’see ya, but I totally got off early!”
No, he was just skipping out early before Christine would get there and could say anything about it. He probably had some excuse he hadn’t used yet as to why he had left early, but eh, old habit died hard. Including habits of skipping work.
Angus gave him a knowing look. He had a feeling Gregg was doing something he was not supposed to do but he also knew that Gregg’s boss was not real good.
“ Hello, Bug. I noticed you forgot the lunch I packed you so I was going to bring it. But I got hungry at work so. “
He handed Gregg a half empty Tupperware container.
Gregg knew he wasn’t very slick about skipping, but he didn’t let the grin falter on his face. It was fine, if he was actually worried about his boss going off on him he wouldn’t do it. There was too much at risk for that.
“Ah, that’s cool, my fault for leaving it anyways.” he hummed, taking the container. He debated sitting on the counter, but instead just leaned up against it, yawning.
“It’s always so dead in here, that’s gotta be boring.”

“Honestly? I was like, two seconds from just sleeping behind the counter before ya got here!” he wouldn’t have really, but the feeling was like, constantly there. “Ya know? My shifts just about over, we should find something to do. What’cha got in mind?”

Of course if he found something weird and maybe dangerous he would go to Mae first. Of course he wouldn’t, like, be worried or anything. Or, if he was he was pretty good at hiding it externally.

He cocked his head to the side, eyeing the female curiously. He didn’t like to pry too deep, not without someone starting the conversation, but he sometimes got just a bit too worried. “...Ya wanna do something, like, fun together?”

It wasn’t like the scene was easily explained. There was broken glass everywhere, and he was just standing in the middle of it, looking embarrassed and very, very frustrated.

Gregg quickly bounded up to his friend, practically jumping up and down with excitement over whatever news he felt he had to share with her.
"Greeeegg! What's up my foxy partner in crime?"
Great! Here came the best way to get rid of his boredom!
“Ya know, like, working and junk!” more like sitting behind the counter trying not to fall asleep. “What’s up?”

Honestly, his hands were really bad, but shouldn’t he be used to that? Though, even the knife fights he had with Mae and Casey didn’t get this bad usually. The male’s gaze went between Bea and his hands before finally–
“Fine, they’re pretty bad. But we’re not telling anyone about this. I can handle it.” Maybe. Maybe he could handle it.
“Blood is meant to stay inside of your body, not gushing out of your hands.”
Bea blinked as he admitted that perhaps the cuts on his hands weren’t necessarily… good. While she wasn’t one to keep things from Angus (her allegiance to him seemed to trump most things) she couldn’t see a good end to ratting Gregg out to his boyfriend or anyone else for that matter.
“ … Fine, but at least let me help you bandage your hands up.”
“I know, but I bleed, like, all the time Bea.”
Honestly, Gregg was most worried about Angus. He didn’t want to be the one to tell his boyfriend about this, and wouldn’t be mentioning it at all if he could get away with it. That was... a bit shady, but at the same time he didn’t like the idea of worrying him over something in the past.
“I was gonna ask you if ya didn’t offer honestly...”

Gregg stared the other male down, making a face. He didn’t even try to hide his confusion, oddly enough.
“What’s not to get, yo?”
The greenish pup broadly grinned, puffing out his chest.
“My awesome skates? My sweet-ass shades? Obviously I’m a cool dude, yo! Cooler than cool, even!”
“Ya just look like you’re trying too hard to stand out dude. That’s not really that cool, it’s kinda sad.”
Hey, at least he was being honest.

It wasn’t very often that Gregg got into Bea’s business, but somehow the female just felt… off today. He tried to not be too prying, but his concern was painfully obvious.
‘ just had a long day . ’ the answer is curt , and she shrugs . ‘ i had to clean some stuff a bunch of assholes screwed up . ’
there were things misplaced all over the store , even some bags ripped open that she needed to replace , which took from THEIR profits .
“Aw man, really? I hate when people do that at my job, but at least my job isn’t, like, heavy tools and junk...”
“Blame teenagers, it’s always them. Even when it’s not.” that was his policy on messes at work. Even when he made them and just needed an excuse.

There were times when being a good friend meant questioning this kinda shit. But at the same time sometimes being a good friend meant not questioning anything and just accepting the offer to do CRIMES together. Gregg liked to think this was one of the latter times.
“Um, I’m always up for CRIMES! Like, did ya have something in mind? Because if ya do I hope its good–”
It helps that he actually wants to do something like this right now, and that he’s always up for cheering other people up– even if the road to doing so was illegal.
Mae simply chose to ignore the others first statement. It would be very painful to suddenly get into a deep and emotional conversation. That would take almost 10 years off her life if she did that.
“We go and find some old cars and completely DEMOLISH them.”
Mae began, showing a swinging gesture to signal they were gonna use their trusty bats to tear up some poor cars.
“And then we could go to the mall and steal some ‘small’ things.”
By small, she meant by expensive jewelry that was lied out front on shelves for show and decoration. She didn’t actually care about jewelry much, but the thought of the rush of nabbing it was enough for her to want to do it.
Gregg wanted to question her further, but he was not that kind of guy. Their friendship was deep, but had never been that touchy feely kind of shit. Instead he listened to her ‘battle plan’.
“Okay, cars, I know where there are a few abandoned ones, s, ya know, someone doesn’t get on our asses.”
You would think he would say no, but honestly trashing a few old cars couldn’t get too bad, could it? Especially if it was for Mae.
“.....define small things.”
There he did have to stop, a slight frown coming to his face. He wanted to help, but at the same time....
“Ya know what? Nah-- Lets do it!”

He knew that came off as biting, but he continued anyways, trying to play it off. “I mean, like, do ya ever just stop and consider what kinda fun you could be having if ya like, stopped worrying over... whatever kinda stuff you worry about?”

Bea stared at Gregg rather unimpressed and unaffected. She knew it was times like this that he would rather be talking to Mae than her. “You sliced open your hands. Deep. You’re bleeding everywhere.”

As much as he talked it up, there really wasn’t any thrills to be found at the Snack Falcon. He felt wired suddenly and wanted to expend that energy, and honestly? This was the best way he knew how to do it.
