Okay I’ve ADHD-ing for the past hour or whatever so here’s the first chapter of a fanfic
Wild’s Tears
Chapter 1 ft. All of our bois
TW: Anxiety, and very worried Linkys
Damn this bitch is (a bit) long
Wild went hunting 3 days ago, he hasn’t come back. He’s missing, and now Time and Warriors aren’t letting anyone leave. Do you want to go to the bathroom? Better have a partner and you’re not allowed to be more the ½ a mile away from the group, if your not with the group by nightfall you fucked, because when you get back, Warriors yells at you, not as a friend or a brother, as a captain.
They found a portal. “Do you think he went through?” Twilight stares. “No, he would tell us if he found a portal,” Captain barked. “Hylia Cap’ I’m just saying! Wild is the most unpredictable of all of us. It’s not out of character for him to go off impulse.” Twilight puts his hand in “let’s go”.
They went through. On the other side, they’re met with a… Fort? People walk through it, there’s a shop, and a tower. Everyone’s thoughts are interrupted by a young teenage girl screaming, “D-DOC-DOCTOR PURAH DOES MASTER LINK HAVE RELATIVES!?” She runs upstairs and aggressively pounds on a door. “No, his family’s dead,” A woman, presumably Purah, said. “BUT THEY-…” the girl fumbles “THEY LOOK LIKE HIM!!”.
“WHAT!?” She yells, running out of the office and down the stairs.
An hour later. “So you’re all Link but from different points in time, and Link- Wild went missing, but in reality, he came home and went with Zelda to go under the castle, and now he’s really missing,” Purah thinks aloud.
“So, how will we find him?” Time says rubbing the back of his hands, it’s a nervous habit of his.
“Well, there’s 8 of you, I’m sure you can search for him.” Purah smiles, I’m sure he’s fine”.
“Fine? Knowing him, he’s probably going ot die for the princess!” Warriors buds in
Purah looks at him like he’s crazy, “No! Link would never, We’ve been working on his whole- never mind, just find him… please”
Purah lent them a map with sections of areas. Time and Warriors were thinking of traveling as a large group. Legend just walked in after getting a smaller map for himself. He scoffs, “That’s impractical, if we travel in a large group, it’ll take way too long.” he sits on the table.
“So what do you want to do?” Time looks up
“We split in twos again.”
“No”
“Okay, Dad, stop being paranoid. We’ll be fine, Wild isn’t kidnapped.”
“No”
“We’ll be fine,” Legend rolls his eyes.
“Okay fine… Warriors, you’re with Sky.” Time points to the Hebra and Tabantha regions, “Legend go with Hyrule… here,” he points to Mount Lanayru, Faron, and East Neclula. “Captain, go tell Wind and Four they’ll be going southwest to Gerudo, I’ll be with Rancher.”
“For someone who doesn’t want to split up, you sound like you’ve been planning this for weeks,” Legend scoffs.
“Shut your yapper.” Time puts his hand on Legend’s mouth, “Go look for Wild with Hyrule.”
Hebra:
Warriors and Sky both looked for 3 days, they found the Rito, they said the same thing, the Hero is missing. Eventually, they found themselves in the Tanager Canyon, walking through they checked every corner. They make it to the northeast point, Sky stares up at the monument, the Lost Temple, or as he knew it, the Sealed Temple. “Hey, Wars… is it weird that this place was like the hub of my adventure?” Sky asked as they walked in.
“No, we have geographical similarities all the time,” Wars answered.
“Yeah, see up there?”
“Mhm”
“I planted that tree, it’s supposed to grow a Life Tree Fruit… there should be one by now.” Sky stares at it, blissfully unaware of the bokoblin behind him.
“Behind you!” Warriors yells, Sky whips around, and kills it.
“Hylia!” Sky exhales.
They explore further until eventually, they reach the back. “What…?” Sky looks at the toppled over Goddess statue “What does- how did this happen? She supposed to- why-” Sky runs over.
“Skies, hey, calm down, why are you panicking?” Warriors walks over.
“We’re standing on the seal,” Sky says after taking a deep breath, “and before you're like ‘Ganondorf breaks seals all the time,’ this isn’t Ganon, he’s worse. This could mean he’s shivering and causing the floor to shake, but this temple would’ve fallen completely.” Sky’s thinking out loud.
“Who is ‘he’?” Wars asks.
“No one really, just the origin of evil.”
“Shit”
Great Hyrule Forest:
For 5 days, Time and Twilight scanned through Akkala and Eldin, only to find no sign of him. Twilight had been especially worried, and the news that he had disappeared under the castle. It devastated him, “he probably threw himself in danger for Zelda.” Twilight fidgets with his fluffy thing.
“He’ll be fine, he’s smart.” Time’s also anxious, he looks up, and the Great Forest “Father,” he whispers, running forward.
“Time wait!” Twilight runs after him.
As they run, purple mist circles them. Time doesn’t stop running, and Twilight doesn’t leave his trail; no matter how intense the urge is to pass out, they both resist.
Finally, they reach the middle of the forest.
“Great Deku Tree!” Time runs to the grand tree, “hey! No nononono not again!”
“Time, what are you on about?” Twi walks over.
Time looks up “It’s hard to explain, I grew up with him, in my– our time. This isn’t the first time he got… sick, for lack of a better word.” Time gets up.
“You want to help him, don’t you?”
“Yes”
“I’m sorry, but we don’t have time.”
“Twilight, please.”
…
“Fine”
Time walks into the tree. They can see the Koroks, but Time is in the same mood as them. “What the fuck?” he looks at the chasm kneeling in front of it “who did this?”
“Hylia knows, but it looks like we found our problem.” Twi touches the gloom “Tch!” he swats his hand “Don’t touch it.” Time chuckles at him, then he gets up and leaves the tree with a group of 10 Koroks; they seem to be a little more cheerful. “Wait, hol’on now, what happened to being all doom and gloom?” Twilight pointed to the small woodland creatures.
“I grew up with Kokiri, I knew this tree when it was a sprout, I think, I don’t know how much time has passed” Time turns to the little creatures then back to Twi “the little guys are probably relatives to the Kokiri, seeing as they are the children of the forest.”
Twi nods, “still doesn’t answer my question, but thanks for some backstory, Time.”
“Oh right, I told them I knew the tree and could help, this wouldn’t be the first time I helped the big guy out.” Time’s expression turned solemn, “though I just hope I'm successful in curing him before it’s too late this time.”
Twilight nods a second time, understanding that this is sentimental to him. Just as Twi opened his mouth to speak, the koroks picked him and Time up and jumped into the chasm. They’re lowering them down slowly, and that's when Twilight sees the weird hands at the bottom “uhh, Dad– TIME- we have enemies below…”
“Then be on your guard, we fight as soon as we land.” Time smiles, “I have faith in you.”
Twilight pupils dilate like a dog getting praise, he nods quickly, “Wolf form?”
“Only if necessary, and don't get hurt this time.” Time’s face goes back to stoic, he looks down and notices the safe droping distance, not wanting the koroks to get hurt, he tells them “drop us, I’ll call up to you when we’re done”
With that, the forest children drop the two heroes, “Good luck, Mr. Hero’s dad!” Time looked up confused, but quickly focused on the red hands.
One probably amazing fight later that I’m too lazy to write.
The hands are gone, thanks to their experience, Time and Twilight are unscathed. “Whew, that’s- fuuuuck.” Twilight transforms, and Time notices this, looking up to see a weird, red, bacon-looking mummy guy. Moral of the story, they fight it and win. (Again I’m lazy af)
Time calls for the Koroks, and they come down. The Deku Tree is saved, in front of the tree, Time stands with his head down. “Great Deku Tree, I’m glad you're safe,” Time says in his calm voice.
“I am only safe because of you. My father told me about an ancient hero who lived before the calamity, who tried to save my distant relative. By what my children have murmured, that hero sounds to be you.”
“It.. may be, but there is more than one of us”
“You are the Hero of Time, yes?”
“Yes…”
Time turns to the Koroks “Hero’s Dad?”
“You’re not his Dad?” They respond, Twilight’s holding back laughter.
East Nucluda:
“You think he’s out on that island?” Hyrule points.
“Goddess Rulie, you sound like Wind.” Legend rolls his eyes. “Fine, let’s go, there’s a village down there, they might have a boat we could use.”
“Sure, but how do you get down?” Rule points down the cliff
They look down the cliff, seeing small spots of water. “We can try and jump for those,” Hyrule suggests.
“Are you stupid?” Legend turns his head to look at the buffoon before him.
“Yeah…”
They explore further and find a slope that goes down. When they get to the village, they learn the hard way that they have to fight a load of bokoblins.
“Rulie, I’ll charge, you use that weird Phantom Sword thing” Legend runs forward.
One intense fight later. (I’m lazy)
“Hell yeah” Legend holds up his hand, Rule slaps it.
“So uhh… how do we get there-“ Rule is interrupted by a flamboyant old man’s voice.
“Why hello there! I’m Bolson! It appears as though you got rid of those nasty pirates, how can we repay you?” The old man smiled.
Legend nudges Hyrule, “can we have a boat? We want to get over to that island” Ledge points to the island off the coast
While they were fixing a boat together they found the name of the island, Eventide, and the land marks, the most memorable to Legend is Koholit Rock. He doesn’t show it, but Hyrule can see it, Legend’s sad.
They render it unsuccessful and head back to shore and over to Lookout Landing.
Gerudo:
Wind and Four are stopped at the front of a valley by a Gerudo Warrior, “where are your parents?”
“We don’t- Ma’am I’m an adult” Four looks up “forget that, we were assigned to look for the Hero”
“Under whose authority?” She kneeled down
“Doctor Purah…? Please Ma’am I assure you we know what we’re doing” Four makes complete eye contact.
“If it gets to hot drinks these, and if it’s too cold eat these, and if you run out, go into a cave” she gives them elixirs and spicy peppers, then she lets them pass.
They look through caves and fox holes, then it gets hot, really hot, Wind looks up “Four! Look up! There’s a dragon!”
“Huh?” Four looks up “wow…”
They stop and admire the dragon for a minute, “Wild has a majestic Hyrule doesn’t he?” Wind murmurs
“We all have our unique Hyrule, but I agree, this place is huge and has a literal dragon… I’m gonna ask Wild when we find him” Four says, “come on let’s go, Wild’s not gonna… no that’s not right… we need to find Wild”
Wind laughs and they continue. It’s a peaceful walk, until they enter Gerudo
“Fuck… sand storm, there’s no way to search that…” Four says, “let’s just ask around in that oasis”
When they ask around, Wild and the Princess were not seen in Gerudo, with no choice they head back to Lookout Landing.
Lookout landing:
“Any luck?” Legend looks at Four.
“No there was a sand Storm, we had to stop” Four slumps and flops against a wood pillar.
“Darn, we didn’t see him either, though I did learn Ledge knows how to sail!” Hyrule smiles
“You know how to sail!?” Wind pipes up.
“Sure… I don’t wanna talk about it” Legend get defensive.
Sky and Warriors walk in, “Hey! Any luck?” Hyrule runs over.
Sky looks stressed, and Warriors is concerned “no, but there’s seal, Like a really important seal that might break” Warriors rubs the back of his neck, Sky is scratching the back of his.
“Woah- hey Buddy!” Hyrule pulls Sky’s hand away from his neck “seals break all the time, plus Wild is good, I have no doubt that he can handle whatever is sealed”
“I know but I don’t want him to die” Sky looks down
“Don’t say that” Warriors pokes his forehead “he’ll be fine”
2 hours later, Time and Twilight walk the gate, looking accomplished.
“Please tell us you found him” Warriors pushes his hands together and points at them.
“No but he saved a tree” Twilight scoffs
“The Great Deku Tree, Son- Twi” Time flicks the side of Twilights head.
“Ugh great, I’ll report to Purah” Warriors sighs and pushes off the wall and walks up the Purah’s office.
???:
He lands in the water and swims out, this new arms gonna need some getting used to. He runs to a Fort with a pillar. “Ugh shit” he just flops, laying on the grass, no now’s not the time to sulk Zelda’s gone. Focus on her, you cannot fail again. He pushes back up, burying any and all feelings of self deprecation.
Receiving the therapy: my OC Haven. She/her pronouns. 20 years old, and is cold to those who she doesn't trust/know. She's an ex-Yiga who escaped because she didn't believe in their ideals
Why?: struggling with nightmares about the Yiga recapturing her. Also, she wants to get out of the habit of eating bananas for every meal.
Therapist: Wild
Side character(s)?: Tears
Thanks for this request @non-canonlinks! It was so fun to write. I hope I wrote Haven the way you imagine her. :3
(Quick note: I added one character from Link Club for a short sentence named Charlie, he’s my sister’s OC who is also ex-Yiga so I thought, “well, I have to add him in now.”)
Your ficlet can be found under the cut!
Link Therapy: Haven
By Ruth Jacqueline
“Alright, boys, let’s get started. Let’s see, first on the agenda is- oh.”
Ocarina set his clipboard down on the club table and sighed. “It’s therapy day.”
Everyone groaned.
“Well, we’ve only got… four people who signed up, so we’ll be done soon.” He promised with a fake smile. “First, Jigglypuff. The SSBU one. Says he’s tired of people making fun of him. Any takers?”
CD-i slowly raised his hand, scooting away from the corner just slightly.
“Put your Din hand down, CD-i.” Kingdom said, shooting daggers his way. “You’re shunned.”
CD-i put his hand down. Ani patted his shoulder encouragingly.
“Well, I suppose I could offer the globose creature counseling.” Prince said dramatically, standing up and taking the patient file from Ocarina’s hand. “Bid me luck.”
“Next, we have some ex-Yiga gal named Haven.” Ocarina continued, getting back to business. “She’s having nightmares. Anyone?”
Everyone looked at Charlie. “Don’t look at me!” He exclaimed. “I’m barely stable too!”
“Fine, Wild, you take her, then.” Age poked Wild’s shoulder and pushed him towards Ocarina. “You haven’t done a session in weeks.”
Wild grumbled under his breath but reluctantly accepted the patient file, then walked out of the club room. He could still hear Ocarina announcing the next patient, “…this weird kid who’s saying his soul keeps controlling him…”
He walked past the Unwanted Side Characters club room and the Villains club room before stopping in front of what used to be the Linkle room, now remodeled to be a calming, therapeutic space.
He opened the door and stepped inside, immediately turning to the left and entering one of the session rooms. “Hey, I’m Wild, what’s up?” He said, sitting down on the couch opposite his patient.
She said nothing, surveying him with careful eyes.
“What’s your name?” Wild asked, setting down the file and taking her under closer inspection. She had long black hair pulled into a braid that ran down her back, but strands still found their way to frame her hardened face. He noted a dagger attached to her hip, and the way her fingers twitched next to it, as if she was ready to attack him at any moment.
“Haven.” She said finally, slowly moving her hand into her lap. “Yours?”
“Link. I mean, Wild.” He glanced over at her file quickly. “So, nightmares? Tell me about it.”
She blinked, her light red eyes narrowing slightly. “I was a member of the Yiga Clan. I left for reasons.”
Wild leaned forward. “And those reasons are…?”
She stiffened. “I don’t think that reviving the Demon King is really that noble a cause.”
He snorted, then stopped himself. Last time he did that, the patient ran away crying. It was Luigi. “Alrighty, well, I agree. And so, what’ve your nightmares been about?”
She crossed one leg over the other and sighed. “The Yiga don’t take too kindly to having their members leave, and so, well, I keep having nightmares they’ll recapture me. Force me to rejoin the Clan.”
Wild nodded solemnly. “Mm-hm, mm-hm, and are these dreams-“
“Nightmares.”
“-nightmares, vivid?”
She grabbed the end of her braid and started running her fingers through the tail. “Yes. Very.”
Wild thought for a moment. “And… is this the only reason you signed up today?”
She dropped her braid and blinked. “Also I’d like help on how to break my habit.”
Wild cocked his head to the side. “What habit? Because if it’s arson I can’t help you.”
She scowled. “No, it is not arson, you lunatic. I can’t stop myself from eating bananas. For every meal.”
He would restrain himself. He could do it. Do not laugh. Do not. Laugh. Do not-
He laughed. Really loud.
She recoiled a bit, her eyebrows knitted together in both confusion and anger as she watched him. “I thought you supposed to help me.” She said quietly once he calmed himself enough to talk to her again. “Not laugh at me.”
He wiped a tear from his eye. “No, no, no, I’m not laughing at you, I’m laughing… with you.”
Her gaze was stony. “I’m not laughing.”
Wild stopped and thought for a moment. “Am I even helping her?” He stood up and held up his hands. “Listen, I’ll be right back. I need to call in some reinforcements. Hang tight, okay?” He turned and left the room, leaving her alone with the thought that her plagues were insignificant.
Finally, after ten minutes of her sitting in solemn silence, he returned, with another man who looked almost exactly like him in tow.
“Raven-“
“It’s Haven.”
He smiled awkwardly. “Right, Haven, this is Kingdom. Kingdom, Haven.”
Kingdom sat down where Wild had been and surveyed her. “Okay, I have some advice for you.” It was taking everything in him not to insult her in some way. “Firstly, the way to get nightmares out of your head is to tell yourself that you’re safe and the Din Yiga can’t get you.”
She nodded along slowly.
“Secondly, to break your-“ He took a deep breath so he didn’t start laughing like Wild did, “habit, I’d say try eating one different thing a day. Once you start doing that subconsciously, then try two things. Eventually, you won’t be uncontrollably scarfing down bananas every day.”
Haven tapped her finger on the leather chair she was seated in. “What if it doesn’t work?”
“Then come back and we’ll try again. Probably with a different Link.” Wild muttered that last part so she didn’t hear it.
She stood up, flipping her braid back over her shoulder and readjusting her dagger’s place in its sheath. “Alright, I’ll try… thanks.”
She walked past them, and Wild grinned and held up his hand for Kingdom to high-five.
“You’re an idiot.” Kingdom said instead, standing up too and walking back into the club room.
Welcome to Link Therapy, a blog you didn’t know you needed until now.
Writing fanfiction is a hobby of mine, and seeing as I can’t think of anything to write right now, I decided to start this blog. This blog is moderated by @ruthiejacqueline28 , my main blog. I just use that blog to post random stuff though hehe.
Under the cut you’ll find a better explanation, characters, and ask guidelines. :3
if you have a question that wasn’t answered under the cut, please DM me or send an ask <3
I have this AU called Link Club. It’s basically where the Links from all games, even the Links that are the same Link (e.g., BotW Link and TotK Link), meet together at a club and each fic they travel by accident to each other’s Hyrules. This AU is the world that Link Therapy is set in, if you want to read it I will be posting some of them on Ao3 at some point in the future and when I do I’ll link them on this post.
Basically, Link Therapy is where all you Tumblr gremlins can submit therapy session ideas, and I’ll write a ficlet using the characters you request. It’s the Links giving other video game characters therapy, essentially. (Or an OC of yours.)
When you submit an ask, please do the following:
1.State who is receiving the therapy.
2. State which Link you would like to be the therapist. (Optional- if you don’t specify, then I’ll pick.)
3. State what side characters you might like to make an appearance. (Optional.)
4. If you are wanting an OC to be the one receiving therapy, please explain who they are, their pronouns, and what their character is like so I can portray them the best I can.
I will try to get to as many asks as possible, but if things end up too busy then please don’t be offended if I don’t get your ask right away. Writing can take time, and I still have a life outside of this. :3
The Links
Here is all the Links you can choose from to be the therapist (because obviously Link is suited to be a therapist.)
Kingdom (Tears of the Kingdom)- snarky, rude, but also a little misunderstood.
Age (Age of Calamity)- doesn’t really know why he’s here, but he’s a chill dude. Good friends with Definitive.
Wild (Breath of the Wild)- pretty chill usually, but also a lowkey arsonist.
Definitive (Hyrule Warriors)- pretty boy, wears eyeshadow, vain.
Ocarina (Ocarina of Time)- the most mature Link, but still pretty traumatized.
Mini Ocarina (Child Link from OoT)- basically always sticks by Ocarina’s side.
Waker (Wind Waker)- chipper, loud, a bit chaotic.
Trainee (Spirit Tracks)- a literal cinnamon roll, in love with his Zelda, sings show tunes.
Sky (Skyward Sword) -almost only speaks in Ancient Hylian (Russian.) Married to his Zelda with a kid, definitely thinks he’s in a more serious AU than he actually is
City (Modern AU)- quiet, probably the actually most mature Link, terrible ranidaphobia.
Prince (Roleswap AU)- snobby, stuck-up, has a very catholic lexicon, can and will flaunt his vocabulary in your face whenever he gets the chance (also my personal favorite of these blorbos)
video game characters you can do
Basically anyone, but please not a super super niche one. (Except for Earthbound. I will gladly take an Earthbound request.) Also no one from a rated M game, unless the only reason it’s rated M is for gore. If it’s rated M for sexual themes, then no bueno. :3
Mine is the hinox mini boss from Link's Awakening. I just cannot. I literally fuckin' cried. But I got it. Eventually. After many deaths. Basically all my deaths are from that fight. :,D
Ok. So I just want to say, I love Minish Cap. Such a underrated game, deserves more love, yall please play it.
I wanted to just rant about some Post-Minish Cap Link head cannon ideas. I want to post my designs for Minish Cap Link and Zelda after the events of Vaati, at some point, not sure when, but I have plans to do so!
Gonna be some angst in this long headcannon story, just a heads up!
So for Minish Cap Link, I would like to think that he becomes more serious as he gets a little older, after beating Vaati. The terrors and adventure, seeing so many things and witnessing them, began to somewhat drain him. He has become more protective of Zelda, and his loved ones, visiting the castle everyday after his chores, to check up on Zelda. Makes sure to spend more time with her. He has lost that child-ness and innocence. He still has a sense of a innocent and pure heart, but during this time had kinda buried it deep inside him, letting it all bubble underneath. One of those reasons being: he is growing up. Becoming a young adult, meaning he also won’t be able to see the Minish as he once could. Or so he thinks….. and of course like I said before, the events and attacks from Vaati, especially after what he did to Zelda, made Link become more stoic and serious. He still shows his child like self that he stores deep down inside him, to certain people, especially his close friends and Grandfather.
And after his adventure, he often will get nightmares. Some not as bad, perhaps he might not sleep good, and just wakes up the next day grouchy because of it. But some of them, are more intense. Some nights he will have nightmares of Vaati coming back, haunting his dreams, and take over Hyrule.
One night, when Link went to bed after a long day , he was happy to finally sleep in his only sheets. But while sleeping, he stirs and wakes up, but not to be laying in his own bed with the view of his ceiling, but a vast, dark, and slightly cloudy scene. He is confused as to where he is, but when Link turns around to view his surroundings, he sees Zelda, but instead of her happy shining face and bright smile, she is still, cold, stone….Again…
He try’s to shout and call out her name, but he can’t shout. He try’s reaches out to her but is frozen. Then, he hears an all too familiar sinister, malicious laugh, but then something else comes after it. A loud “bong”. That first dreadful chime of the town bell rings in his ears. Link’s mind is filled with panic. “No, not again! Please!”, he thinks.
Link reaches for his sword but still, he can’t move. He can only painfully watch as The Wind Mage, Vaati, emerges from the billowing clouds and moves closer to Zelda, driving Link to become angry. “Don’t be discouraged hero” Vaati’s voice sickeningly sang. “You’ve done all you could. You may think you can save Hyrule, but you can’t save your precious princess from perishing.”
There…the second chime…
“Once her light is mine, Hyrule will crumble along with her.” a loud sharp, cracking sound is heard. When Link looks close enough, he sees a crack on Zelda’s face. And another on her shoulder. A few more on her arm. The cracks begin the spread. Link’s breaths sharpen, his panic returns and begins to almost hyperventilate. He try’s to gasp for air, to move, anything-shout even. But nothing happens. His eyes began to burn, and felt water threatening to fall. His throat becomes dry, and he starts to tremble and shake.
“Such a shame,” Vaati says as he puts on a sad look, cupping Zelda’s face. “That she must remain in such a state after I get what I need from her.” Vaati turns and grins at Link. “If only you your stronger, just kept your ground, and you had taken the hit instead of her, then maybe she wouldn’t have to be this way.”
There. The final chime. And the cracks spread upon Zelda, and onto her hand were the symbol of the Triforce rests. “But I suppose all hero’s make mistakes. Even with me vanquished, you won’t be able to protect her from the evils of this world for long.” Then when Vaati’s laugh echos as he escape, however his voice wasn’t the only echoing noise, but the sound of a loud, erupting, haunting crack, as Zelda’s stoned form breaks and crumbles.
Link wakes up with a loud gasp. Shaking in a cold sweat as tears stream down his face like a waterfall. He covers his face with his hands, trying to calm down his shaky breaths, but all he sees is the ending of that haunting nightmare. He pulls his hands away from his face and subconsciously reaches beside him but the little green bird he expected to be there, was only an empty spot, which Link never considered empty before his journey. He looks at the bed next over, which his abrupt waking didn’t seem to stir his Grandfather, who was sleeping soundly.
Good. Link didn’t want to worry his grandfather about his nightmares. Though Link knows his Gramps is starting to notice his nightmares returning, and his Gramps is getting suspicious. He notices Link getting tired easily while doing his chores, and being almost dead in the morning. Link’s grandfather knew of his nightmares after his adventure, and tried to help him through them. He was glad once they started so subside, but after a couple years, his nightmares returns more aggressively again. Link thinks he is hiding it well, but his grandfather knows when something is wrong, but decided to wait a little longer and see if Link will tell him on his own soon. Which might not happen, and he might have to sit Link down and express his concerns for his grandson.
And so, Link just sat in bed, trying to steady his breathing, glancing out the window seeing that it’s still dark out but the birds are slowly starting to chirp. He quietly walks down the steps to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Seems tonight is one of those nights that he won’t be getting good sleep again. It’s fine though, he thinks, knowing he will just get used to it in time. It’s only nightmares after all, losing some sleep every other night isn’t gonna do much harm. Right?
Post-Minish Cap Link because I looked back on this and realized that I DID NOT word this as well as I thought it sounded in my head and this was my first time writing a headcannon I'm not that experienced LOL so I revised it and made some adjustments, added some things and fixed spelling mistakes.
So hopefully when yall read this, it sounds better!
could you do the wind Waker main theme on piano? The whole song please! And don’t make it too hard. I’m not a master (yet >w<). No key signatures. It doesn’t need to be done at a certain time :] just take your time and do your best :]]]
thanks!!! :D
here you go!!
since you asked for it to be easy, i transposed it from C# major to simply C major which is much easier. no key signature even needed!! also i made this mostly from memory :D hope you enjoy and that it’s not too difficult!!
this piece is an amazing one to sight read. also that last page is just sad 😭😭
having an online persona is kind of funny bc you post abt something like twice and suddenly that’s the only thing ur known for...u post about cheese a couple times and suddenly ur the cheese mutual
