Maybe love is an animal, he reasons. The way it preys on the weak and unsuspecting. It's sharp, unrelenting teeth gnawing on your heart as your eyes meet his. Perhaps love is a parasite. The way it infects your mind, slowly taking over any and all thoughts and bodily function, as it eats you from the inside. Love is nothing but a cancer; a weakness. Regulus is sick.
