They can't get the answers they want if the country gets frozen in time, after all. They'd never traveled with other people before. Siffrin doesn't expect to grow attached to any of them, but as time goes on, the thought of leaving them hurts more and more. Worse yet, they refuse to even entertain the thought of one of them discovering what he is and what he's done. They just know that if they find out, they'll hate them.

You really should try and discourage their feelings. They'll fade eventually anyway, and it'll be easier for both of you if you just. Make him stop liking you, rather than waiting for it to happen on its own.

This ends with it using her as its own personal scratching post and her returning the favor. For relaxation reasons. Probably.

To celebrate the arrival of Volume 2 of Aurora, we've aligned the dates up just before the book's release :)
This week is all about celebrating your favorite duos from the comic (whether they're platonic, queerplatonic, romantic, familial, or otherwise)! You can create for the same duo throughout the week or switch it up as much as you like!
Participation is by no means required, and you don't have to do all the prompts either! There are two prompts for each day just so people have a choice if one of them speaks to them more than the other, but you can also be a bit wild and do them all if you want to!
These prompts are also intended to be friendly to all mediums, be that art, writing, collages, crafts, playlists, and more! This is by no means an artist-only event :)
There is no time limit on this event either! If you find this far into the future and still want to participate in any of the prompts, you're more than free to do so! All we ask is that people wait until the start of the official week (Wednesday, 4/22) before they start posting their submissions :)

Dainix is having a rough night, and needs some comfort.
He's usually better at dealing with these thoughts. He's better at calming himself down from the nightmares. He's better at wading through the writhing, suffocating emotions until they settle down again, but tonight— tonight is different. And Dainix is at least aware enough to know that, regardless how he feels, the first thing he should do is find someone to keep him company before he does something stupid.

Falst knows he's the weak link of the group. The best he has is that he's ferin, and thats about it. He doesn't have any magic– no primordial gods possessing him, no starfire woven into his literal bones, no exploding into fire or lightning– he's just Falst. But these people need him, he owes them, and most importantly, they're his friends. So, regardless of his shortcomings, he refuses to let anything happen to them without forcing the threat to go through him first.

They don't want him here, and they're not going to stop fighting him until he's gone for good. No matter what he does— TKO is nothing but a villain in their eyes. Poor KO, overtaken by this evil, power-hungry thing.
It's not going to stop, even if he beats them. If he tries, KO would stop him. He always does.
