Taichung day 1 Arrive at Taoyuan Int'l Airport; bus at platform 1 to Taoyuan HSR - train 1641 to Taichung City (13:09 departure) - Bus 26 or Bus 70 (at dock 15) to Rainbow Village - (1) meet the Rainbow Ranger at Rainbow Village and be sure to take pictures with him; (2) Take a walk through yishu 艺术 street/guoji 国际 street for a taste of the local food and art scene; then go to Taichung Station for bus to Puli (Nantou HaoXing 南投好行); (3) check in at Icenter for the night (airbnb or hostelworld) clean facilities and a sweet host. Taichung day 2 (4) Puli breakfast (one of a kind - salty fried hot dogs); catch a bus (6670) to sunmoonlake in front of the Puli Brewery; (5)(6) Rent a bike at any roadside shop, ride around the lake, but since the bike path isn't fully complete around the lake, turn back at your leisure, and (7) then eat a tea egg at Ah Po Shen (阿皮婶); Bus (Taiwan HaoXing 台湾好行) back to taichung station; (8) take a break and soak in the creativity at Miyahara for afternoon tea and ice cream; when well rested, walk along the Park between museum of art and museum of science; (9) stop by the Robot Station for dinner or coffee; and (10) make ChunShuiTang (春水堂) your last stop at the museum of art, this is the birth place of bubble tea.
