This country’s pollution problem is getting worse and worse.
Garbage travels by water, from Manila to Corregidor. Mankind's apathy transgresses new frontiers of stupidity; as if we don’t need water at all.

I was able to get up close and personal with the Eternal Flame of Freedom in Corregidor, designed by Aristides Dimetrios. A symbol of liberty forged thru sacrifice.
Different buildings in Corregidor, now ruins of the second world war. Leaving behind the shadow of all the glory and horror.
This is war. Nobody really wins.
As if further proof is needed with the memorials of the fallen in Corregidor, defenders and aggressors alike.

Being a battle station, Corregidor was abundant with guns (as Filipinos, we call them cannons). Though they were already outdated models during the time of war, the fact that they were in the hands of master strategists and valorous warriors can never be discounted.
A few of the views Corregidor has to offer tourists.
Very lucky to see, even just from afar, the tail end of the island. And Hooker Point, which is at the very end of the tail itself.
Went to Corregidor where I was able to walk the battlefield that played a vital role in the second world war.
We got there by a cruise ferry and toured around the island via a tour bus.
The island also offers a bike route for cyclists.
Reflection
Life deliberately confuses us.
"Mourn their death. Honor their sacrifice."
Flowers, alongside prayers, are offered to mourn the death and honor the sacrifice of the Fallen 44.
