To Break A Heart

I wish I could have loved you the way you wanted me to do so. Your eyes were ever eager, there was always a spark of hope, your heart, your loving, generous heart held onto the hope that I would change my mind.

But I know me better than what you claim to do so, I am selfish and greedy of my time alone.
