Didn’t watch the season finale of TWD S10 (left off after the midseason finale after last year), and admittedly not paying too much to World Beyond right now, but from what I’m seeing it, I do like the premise of the show. It’s kinda refreshing, mellow, Iris seems to be an interesting character, and while it’s jarring to see their environment have a presence of “normalcy”, it’s a bit calming. If I’m correct, I’d have this go down a mystery/drama route than the formula of talking zombie-magically appearing walking-talking-sudden hoarde-cliffhanger.

That finale was...something. Governor Lynne Birkhead was assassinated as deserved, but Frank and tragically Bonnie did not survive the endgame and died after being shot by Birkhead’s security. Jorge Castillo is dead.  Michaela ended up alone, but achieved her dreams of becoming sworn into the law just as she desired from the beginning. Connor and Oliver eventually reunited and stayed together. Mama Harkness died peacefully. Annalise and Tegan at one point were together and for the time found love. Annalise died peacefully after a tumultuous legacy as a prosecutor and a victory of freedom, and I’m at peace with that. Gabriel fled home. Christopher is now leading Criminal Justice 100. I’m not mad at this finale. It felt like a lot was crammed in and moved too fast at the end, but answers were given and Annalise winning her case while fighting on her own does give a feeling of catharsis after everything she’s been through. I’m going to miss this series and everyone I’ve blogged with. Thank you, Shonda Rhimes, for an amazing show.

Michaela has sufferd a pyrrhic victory; she avoided prison due to her deal and thus has probation, but she’s lost her true friend Connor, Oliver, and Laurel. Atop of Asher and Wes, due to her own self-preservation. She will never have those bonds ever again. “It should’ve been you.” - Oliver

Frank started the season as Annalise’s “hound” who was in his right was a cool-headed assassin with an underlying desire for purpose. Now that he’s learned the truth about his parents, he’s now an unhinged “man dog” still clinging onto that purpose but itching to destroy everything around him.

The series finale is obligated to deliver a scene of Annalise dragging Nate for six seasons of bullshit.

I’m concerned; Governor Birkhead is smiling at Annalise like, “Count your days, bitch.”
