The monster stares down a line of honking cars, her hands loosely wrapped around her battle mace. There are plenty of red-faced travelers shouting obscenities at her, but she pays them no mind; it’s important that she impedes their travels, at least for a little while longer. Who else is going to make sure these ducklings cross the street safely?
“Uu,” she says quietly, nudging one of the little birds along with her foot to discourage it from stopping.
of course he couldn’t get some damn peace and quiet.
he was trying to perk himself up after a long night filled with restlessness - and, really, just about everything but sleep - and yet here he was, trying to drink a coffee. he’s trying to cut back on his booze intake, y’see, and yet with all the yelling about, he’s feeling like he needs a drink. eventually, logan’s just about had it, and gets up to try and relocate elsewhere, before he sees exactly who’s being yelled at.
a lady, with what looked like a big hammer or something, standing in the middle of the road, ushering along a pack of ducks.
“ i wouldn’t stay there if i were you. they’re smarter than y’realize; they’ll move along just fine when they hear the cars. ” and, of course, he’d rather she not become roadkill, but something tells him that wouldn’t quite register.

alright, well. since i’ve had him for a few months, i think it’s about time that i put out a long-term plotter ad on dear ol’ logan here.
he’s not the most... pleasant guy, true, but he is a decent enough person if you can get past all the grump. and the booze smell. he’s probably not gonna be your muse’s friend unless you can be a good drinking buddy, but he’s certainly gonna be able to tolerate more than you’d think.
as for antagonistic relationships... well, those are easier. see, logan’s got a bit of a temper, and a bit of a protective streak around those he can actually like to be around. and, hell, he’s not too hard to provoke into a fight, so really, go wild.
romance? hah. the man’s track record with romance is not a pleasant one, so he’s pretty much done looking. besides, he’s kind of a frumpy old shit (don’t let hugh jackman fool you; in canon, logan is stocky and kinda plain looking outside of the scruff).
