KYLO always seemed to find himself in her company. Once he thought her a nuisance; a stubborn woman who wouldn’t lend her powers to him despite his promises of something much greater. Like that fool of a scavenger. But now? NOW, he didn’t seem to mind her company at all anymore. In fact... it was rather welcome. After all, she was the only person on this island that actually acknowledged him for who he was underneath all of his villainy and darkness. Hell if he would ever admit that, however. He would rather die than tell her that.

“We keep meeting like this,” he pointed out, in a matter-of-fact manner. “You ever tire of it?”

as a bi person myself im so sorry you have to endure this— it’s awful harassment, and you’re not doing anything wrong. im also in a relationship with a straight man, but that doesn’t mean i don’t still love women! your ruby is adorable, you clearly put so much love into her characterization and there is Nothing Wrong with your interpretation. sending you lots of support!

it legit terrifies me that people can be so set in their own headcanons that they'll go off on anybody who does differently. they're only headcanons, marsha, get your head out of your ass about it. your ruby is lovely actually, and you have my support!

thank you both so so much... seriously, i know it’s stuff that i should know --- and i do !! i know my sexuality is valid and my portrayal is as valid as anyone else’s !! --- but it’s really nice to hear. sometimes stuff like this just really gets to you even though you try not to let it; i could go my whole fucking life without any more biphobia in front of my fucking face. it boggles my mind how many people refuse to acknowledge i ( and other fellow bis ) exist. it boggles my mind how someone can come into your inbox and try to enforce a sexuality on your portrayal like lgbtq+ don’t get that enough in real life about their own damn selves. and thank you, again, for the compliments about my portrayal !  again, this kind of stuff can really shake you after... y’know... four anons LKGH

         “Uh Ma’am?” Evenings were always typically more dangerous for those who couldn’t handle their liquor quite as well. Now, he was just getting started. “I could’ve offered you a drink if you wanted one.” Mccree watches the woman down his Jack Daniels like it was water, not like he could blame her for doing so. The only problem was; it was his drink. “But uh, helpin’ yourself to a strangers drink? my, that’ll earn you some trouble from the wrong crowd.Lucky for you, I ain’t much for complainin’.” Maybe she had one two many before he even showed up, noticing how careless she was acting. He shifts in his stool and leans against the counter, signalling the bartender for two rounds of whiskey. 

        “Think this pretty lil’ lady had one too many. Fancy getting her some water?”

  Something about that girl seemed familiar, but... surely it couldn’t be anyone he knew. While it wasn’t impossible that some of his comrades might be in this city, surely it couldn’t be her. She wouldn’t be easy to capture. Then again, Kurt should have been no easy catch himself. But there he went, being negative again. What was the worst that could happen? A hint of a smirk turned up his lips, moving to approach her in a way that was both casual and obvious enough not to surprise her.

  He began by clearing his throat, that smirk still clear as day. If worse came to worst, perhaps this woman would make pleasant company. “I hope it’s no bother, but... would you happen to have the time, ma’am?”

Unable to decide for himself, Kylo Ren submitted himself to it, plunging himself further into the dark side as he gave in to the temptation of power offered by this strange being now asserting its will over the island.

BUT there were consequences to such indulgence. And it came in the form of a young woman, hellbent on changing his stubborn reliance on the power of the dark side. Rogue knew him like no one else. Not since the scavenger. Their relationship was one built on newfound trust; an intimate understanding of why he is the way he is and how she had tried to accept him despite his hands stained in blood. SO seeing her stand opposite of him now during this chaos... struck fear in his heart. The same way he felt when Han Solo stood before him. “You know I can’t let you pass,” he warned, his reforged mask obscuring the uncertainty of his features.

winter interlude

THEY were supposed to gather information. String up a few unwilling people of interest and squeeze out whatever they knew about this strange new dimension they found themselves in. Instead, Kylo and his companion were met with the winter festivities. Whatever that meant. He is immediately reminded of the wookie’s Life Day celebration. To think he thought he outrun all that nonsense, only for it to come back with a vengeance. NEEDLESS to say, his black attire stood out like a sore thumb against all the white snow and the green and red of the decorations.

NATURALLY, the sheer amount of joy in the air annoyed him to no end. “Let’s leave.” Yes, he would rather turn away and forget everything existed till this was over than stay here and suffer through it all. Making a scene wouldn’t help either.

       WHO IS SHE TO CAGE A LION WHOSE FANGS AND CLAWS WERE SHARPENED AND READY? Passion dies in captivity and the temper this one commands is worthy of authority. Ghastly lips muse pleasant possibilities. “One of honor and virtue, are you? You could have fooled me.” 

       Into believing she was among the rambunctious bar-dwellers, that is. For too long of a time now, a hoard of drunkards have had their fists drawn for conflict. Stemming from a simpleton’s argument that bartenders existed to be cradled by lecherous eyes, the very notion of a belief so disgusting riled the air between fellow attendees; the chivalric and the blasphemous. Who would win, she wonders? 

       Rage brings out the wilderness in everyone. “Go on, then. Unleash your fury on the deserving. You will find me by your side shortly.”
