You are trying to move into an apartment with your favorite Pokemon. The building is strict about which Pokemon are allowed inside but it’s super affordable. How hard do you think it will be to convince the landlord to let you keep it in the building?
Easy as can be, perfect apartment dweller
Might take some convincing
Basically a coin flip
It will be an uphill battle but I might be able to, while saying goodbye to my deposit
No increased rent, deposit or argument could convince any landlord to let us in

The PokéManiac trainer type is so interesting to me. What's this one's deal. Like in a world of professional battling what makes you a maniac versus like, anything else. What distinguishes them from like, scientist types? I could probably go on bulbapedia and find out but I'm choosing not to because it mildly amuses me thinking that the real delineation is just when you buy your first fursuit

They bounce! 🧡💚💙
Placing my bets now that Brout's final evolution is going to be inspired by the national bird of Indonesia, the Javan Hawk-eagle. That crest feels like a worthy evolution of Brout's eyebrows!
a few more pokemon characters i wanted to draw
Oh Brout I would do anything for you...
I really like what I'm seeing so far with these three! I feel like there's less overreliance on patterns to hide simplistic and blocky modeling. They're not overly-complex designs, but they feel complete! We'll see if they maintain that with the other new pokemon for this gen. I also personally like that these three look more true to their real-world counterparts than scarvio's trio did. Brout is honestly the most stylized shape of the three, but even then there are honestly birds that are just shaped like that. The other two are a fairly good cartoon pomeranian with a fire motif, and a stylized leopard gecko! Even sprigatito was far more stylized than these three are imo.
That's purely personal taste, but I like the older-gen style of rougher, more realistic (but still stylized) models, more than I enjoy the modern style that favors smooth, "cute" shapes. I know a lot of people like it, but the modern beanie-boo look just isn't for me!
I'm also excited about the environments I'm seeing, as well as the possible implication of Dive-style exploration underwater! A problem I personally had with the shift to over-world pokemon was how tacked on they felt. They were just sort of thrown on top of these kind of bland environments, and especially water pokemon got kind of screwed by only being able to swim at the surface of the water, or be fished up from generic fishing spots. I hope that they include underwater exploration, because it would really make the world feel more full and natural! I also think having a better looking world will help alleviate some of this. By adding unique environmental features into an area, you can easily add depth to the pokemon found nearby! Whereas a bland environment with features that are obviously almost exclusively reused assets doesn't tell as much of a story.
Truthfully I'm really reluctant to get my hopes up for this game. I don't have a lot of trust for the pokemon company anymore. I also don't have a switch 2, so frankly people will have to be Really happy with this game for me to consider it. But I'm cautiously hopeful that they're finally listening to fans and putting out a quality game. Scarvio was frankly an unfinished game. So many aspects of it were clearly rushed. I hope they don't make the same mistake again.
