Checks the tag and its all "transandrophobia" bullshit. Okay.
So ISFFās post was saying indigenous Americans are not meaningfully oppressed and ābenefit from living in the imperial coreā despite being actively colonized, on the basis that some of them join the military and āa yank is a yankā.
It is incredibly racist to claim that the people who are being victimized by current domestic imperialism are āreaping the spoils of American imperialismā abroad.
The thing about the US is it doesnāt function with regard to Native Americans according to the Third-Worldism āimperial coreā paradigm (which BTW is a shit model that frames China and Russia as non-imperial and claims only Europe and the US can be imperial powers) because the US was a colony before it was independent, and its indigenous people were and remain colonized.
For them, they are not āin the imperial coreā in most meaningful ways, they are in a colony which has taken over their land, segregated them to tiny reservations, continues to fail to provide for basic human rights and support like clean water and basic security while allowing colonizers to commit violence against them on reservations without consequence because itās ānot their problemā if non-Native US citizens go onto reservations specifically because they know they can rape and murder women. Their lands were and are still being plundered for oil pipelines, coal trains, dams which cut off access to fishing, all sorts of shit.
Think the way Puerto Rico is functionally in a colony, or Guam, the āUS territoriesā. These are not groups of people who take land, take oil, take money from other countriesāthough they are sometimes forced to depend upon the leavings of what Americans have stolen and profited from, itās usually the worst and the dregs of these things, keeping locals in poverty and taking land for mainlanders to vacation in while giving people who live there basically no say in any of this despite some significantly-limited citizenship rights.
Native American nations are their own governments which are still bizarrely subject to both control from and neglect by the US, the much more powerful nation which exists all around them (in terms of attempts to grab their land, pushing private investor to build on it, etcāhence we have a āBureau of Indian Affairsā to manage relations between tribal nations and the US federal/state governments on which they are located).
Native Americans on reservations live within the bounds of the continental United States and hold dual US and tribal citizenships (they were the last group of Americans to get full voting rights BTWājust over 70 years agoābut have always been subject to our draft, you know, like colonial governments do to their colonized people). So for example someone who is DinĆ© could be a citizen of both the Navajo Nation and the United States of America, as well as a resident of the state of Arizona, because Navajo territory exists partly within Arizona (and therefore US) borders. But reservations under tribal governments are not āpart of the imperial coreā in any meaningful way. To say that they are is basically just saying Native nations/governments are illegitimate and āall just part of the USā which is about the most racist you can possibly get against Native Americansāechoing the original sin of treaty-breaking and territorial theft by British colonists. It is delegitimizing the very existence of these nations as nations with their own governments, laws and economies, however much the latter can be forcibly entwined with the American one in certain ways. It is literally denying indigenous sovereignty, period.
Tribal nations are not colonizing other places, starting foreign wars, and reaping the spoils of American empire of their own accord anything like the US is going, even if some members of them join the US military. That would be like saying British India was āan imperial core colonyā because Indians sometimes volunteered to fight in the British army. Itās nonsensical.
thank you for this very thourough breakdown on why she was wrong to say what she was saying (and since i havent seen any posts about her going back on what she said i assume she still stands by it).
i dont know what to think about 'the discourse' happening rn personally because im not educated on native american issues and need to read more about US imperialism. but my view is ISFF isnt the woman to be talking about it considering how shes a white person in a country that also benefits from being part of the imperial core (and she has yet to acknowledge this from what ive seen? let me know if she has). this sort of behaviour isnt unsurprising for a white european though (speaking as a western european).
wow okay so that blew up. uhm. i dont quite understand the point they were trying to make with that ramble but whatever.
someone just tried to imply i dont go outside which is really funny considering how inactive i get on here because im busy with real life shit
"afab when convinient" is genuinely such a bullshit phrase because like no we (transmascs) arent "afab when convinient" you literally only say we are when we talk about how misogyny still affects us because it still fucking affects us. oh my god.
*i am not denying trans women go through transmisogyny with this post and that they experience very similar and often worse things due to the specific intersection of transphobia and misogyny that they face im just saying that saying trans men and mascs are 'afab when convinient' when many of us grew up facing misogyny and are still facing it is fucking crazy
i keep seeing the term pizzagate thrown around which is funny because thats not whats happening at all its a bunch of tumblr users being like "hey what this one woman said was weird" and then everyone claiming that we're nazis for finding it weird. i dont recall anyone claiming there was anything like pizzagate happening. is critisising people who post publically pizzagate now? is posting on tumblr pizzagate.
can you tell i lowkey have untreated anxiety about certain things
Very much hate pocket deer belly for being yet another self proclaimed cis man getting into trans business (calling himself transmisognyized for example which is insaneā¦ā¦ whatās next we say Frankie Grande is transfem because heās a queenie gay who wears make up) like yasss reinforce the notion that trans women are really just high fem gay menā¦ā¦ā¦.. totally wonāt backfire
i dont think they're cis i thought they were non-binary? they removed the he from their bio last i checked. i do however hesitate to call them tma despite them claiming that because they probably move through their real life as a cis man (nothing wrong with that if youre a transfem! i have irls who do that for protection). didnt they start claiming to be tma after getting like mild crtisism though? for like talking over trans issues? (correct if im wrong ofc!) is that was transmisogyny is now, to these people?
anyways if we're going to talk about them we should avoid misgendering, stick to they/them. me saying this isnt a defense of them i still think theyre insufferable but we have to show the bare minimum respect one should have. mwah
it is kind of concerning how easily people who support isff fling around the nazi claim, usually at poc too. or like claimed we were lynching her. like. what was that all about
im glad ppl are bringing up pdb bc theyve honestly annoyed me for months and i felt like i couldnt say anything about it. like speaking as a fat bitch their posts abt fat lib annoyed me. its not woke to have a fat fetish having a fat fetish is literally neutral
"Forcefem was not originally a kink and was only ever meant for transfems" loud ass incorrect buzzer
Itās all sexual posts and then an ask where someone is asking for hypno scripts and she replies āI donāt engage with NSFW forcefem so noā like she wasnāt being asked bc she posted them before lol
that's really funny to me.. I don't engage with the kink I have sexually.. its literally fine if she did idk why she insists its a nonsexual kink (because it is a kink. that's literally just what it is)
i checked her blog and its all sexual posts. and shes not a kink blog? has she said otherwise or did she suddenly just start posting/responding to sexual content?
girl your blog is about the kink
Both of these people's tags basically show my own opinion on this tbh
why do people assume there's like a 'leader' for people who disagree with isff its like claiming there's a leader for people who dont like cilantro or something. this isnt an organised group 'harassing' someone this is just a bunch of random people being like "what she said was fucked up". like
girl your blog is about the kink
