VIXX as types of Buns

Channamon Bun: Known for its cinnamon color. Kind of salty. Goes very very well when served with other buns. Has to be precisely baked because one wrong step leads to violent Channamon Bun.

Pinkeu Lionbun: Pale and puffy. Looks tasteless and bland but is actually the sweetest and fluffiest bun to exist. Bun will be happy if fed to babies. For adolescents: Consume immediately while hot. Dont let it get cold.

4D Jaebun: Mostly food coloring. Made with literal sunshine and rainbows. Sweet and a little salty. Mostly served warm. Bun secret: Serve it while hot and you'll taste something unexpected

Wonbun: Looks intimidating to eat but is actually marshmallow. Makes you question your existence. Best served both hot and cold.

HongBean Bun: Shiny bun made of 1000 variety of beans. This bun is too beautiful to eat but you will anyway. Oh the temptation. Mostly sold in art museums. Serve warm because it tastes nice.

HyogieBun: Smol bun that grows bigger the hotter it gets. Looks very soft and adorable but is actually wasabi. Satan made this bun. Serve it while its hot because DAMN YOU GORGEOUS--

Enceladus

Enceladus is Saturns icy moon that measures approximately 504km in diameter, about a tenth of the size of Saturn’s largest moon Titan. Almost completely covered in ice, this moon could potentially harbour the same type of life-sustaining chemical reactions found in deep sea hydrothermal vents here on Earth.

In 2005, NASA’s Saturn orbiting Cassini spacecraft spotted geysers of water and ice erupting fro fissures near Enceladus’ South Pole. Scientists believe they originate from a great ocean beneath the shell of ice. This ocean manages to stay liquid because the gravitational force exerted by Saturn is so intense that it twists and stretches the moon generating internal heat.

In October 2015, Cassini went on a dive through one of the plumes passing within just 39km of Enceladus’ surface. A team of scientists led by Hunter Waite analysed the observations made by the spacecraft. They discovered that the geysers contain between 0.4%-1.4% molecular hydrogen (H2) and 0.3%-0.8% carbon dioxide (CO2). These are being produced continuously by reactions between hot water and rock near the core of the moon. Some of the most primitive metabolic pathways found in microbes at deep ocean hydrothermal vents involve the reduction of CO2 with H2 to form methane (CH4) by a process known as methanogenesis.

Whale Flukeprint

Since you guys seemed to enjoy the post on vortices and birds. Here is a throwback for you :

This is a humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) fluke-print and it is absolutely gorgeous. They are formed immediately after the whale dunks down into the sea. ( A reminiscent of the whales presence )

As you can observe, the inside surface is smoother compared to the outside waves. It appears that the waves inside have been dampened out somehow.

This paper ( A theory for the hydrodynamic origin of whale flukeprints )  suggests that there are vortices that are formed at the end of fluke print (Region III) which dampens them out. For more details on this phenomenon please read the paper by Levy.et al.

Their agility on moving is quite envious, but you are a calm river so you wait. The noise of the daunting waters tell that it is shallow, and you are deep. You are quiet but so full and deep. Do noy envy the noisy, the fast, the harsh achievers, because you are the calm water, and with the course you take, believe that soon, you will become an ocean.

Are you shorter when you re standing?

That’s a good question. I believe the answer is YES and I will tell you why I think that is true.

But I did search online for reliable scientific articles but didn’t find any! So, if you find one let me know

Measure it yourself!

You can actually take a tape and measure your height when you are standing and when you lying down.

And you WILL find that you are shorter by a few centimeters when you are standing.

Why ? ——–> Gravity

The reason why this supposedly happens is because the fluid in your spine compresses due to the pull of gravity. And as a result you become shorter by a few centimeters.

But when you are lying down, your spinal fluid remains in an ‘uncompressed’ state and hence the perception of feeling ‘taller’.

EDIT:

Taller in the morning, shorter in the evening

We are taller in the morning than in the evening because during normal activities during the day the cartilage in our knees and other areas slowly compress, but when you go to sleep and rest the cartilage decompresses.
