also if u really think about it the sheriff’s department are the closest people to him as friends 

i don’t think he cares because he has the adoration of his kingdom but i hope later in the show 

the king will actually be forced to grow as a person like mao mao has

anyway i know it’s an art thing but also 

i’m 1000%  confident the king shaved his chest hair for the pet prom part of the competition

anyway i totally called it when i said if there was ever competition between mao mao and the king it would escalate quickly

tbh if u think about it the king is okay with being a terrible person when everyone is looking at him and giving him positive reinforcement 

and well 

he’s the king he knows he’ll win regardless of anything that happens 

so having any real relationships especially friendships would be difficult for him 

and after seeing the bao bao episode i have a feeling if a certain someone breaks up with him he’ll be furious 

because he wants to be in control and if the first person he was ever into breaks up with him he’d be hella hurt and then try to bury it all under his kingly persona so well people would hella be caught off guard 

idk how many people he’d be able to fool cuz out of everyone the thing is the best actor

Tilting his head back and and and doing his best to look handsome while he’s getting all the attention. He thrives on the attention. If he’s not getting it then… Well that’ll never happen. Again.

when the king tells gary to zoom in on mao mao when he’s chopping onions with his hand but upon realizing he’s gonna get attention instead from him the king immediately freaks out and tells gary to focus on him as he does a cute face and i think that rly says a lot about his character
