Just to touch upon the discourse amber started. If you read a sims story comment that you’re reading or enjoying it! Or send an ask! Making a story is lots of work and takes a lot of our heart!

Just a few days ago someone commented on my story and said “I’m really enjoying reading this!” And it meant the absolute world. I love the likes, I do, but a message or comment that you’re enjoying or following along keeps me going tbh.

Hey guys,  I am asking for help getting through this month and I desperately need your help to get groceries and keep my water and electricity on. My son and I haven’t been able to get enough formula we were declined WIC and I’ve been rationing milk and rice so I really could use help getting food for kahlil.

I’ve been struggling a lot these past few months and I have regularly skipped on eating (often for several days in a row) to try and make ends meet due to losing my job at the salon, I have struggled with bill payments and getting groceries/household supplies with absolutely no income, I could use anyone and everyone’s help in boosting/donating to my post so that I won’t lose him to social services. simblr is a community which revolves around the sharing and “consuming” of other ppls content. And, as a community which has constant new content being shared, it’s extremely important to “consume” this content, especially in more literal representations such as likes, reblogs etc. A community can not survive on just content being produced alone, but in hand with engaging with others content.

all i’m saying is, is simblr really dead or are we just not supporting each other enough?

People who criticise simmers for criticising the game and “being negative” really piss me off. First of all, why would anyone have brand loyalty to EA. Second of all, our community shows much more brand loyalty than any other game community would in this situation. Hi friends!

I have a new project! After gauging interest on reddit, I’ve decided to create a ts3 directory so that blogs, simblrs, youtube channels, etc, that make ts3 content can all be found much easier.

I really want to do this as I feel that ts3 content is becoming harder and harder to find and I want this community to stay alive!
