I agree with ur jasper post. It's hard to agree with most of jasper critical blogs bc most of them sound hypocritical? Like how some would scream the misogyny in su abt jasper but then rb pin up art of her. it's super easy to fetishize her. She is the curviest butch character compared to the rest butch characters. I swear if jasper had the same body type as topaz there would probably won't be as much pin up porn there is. Imo at least.

pretty much. its why im always sketchy about jasper fans because a lot of them are super hostile to bismuth.

i remember when bismuth was first teased, jasper fans were freaking out saying the show was trying to “replace” jasper, as if she was a part of the team. people were getting so haughty over it that i remember them threatening to DROP the show because she showed up.

And after she revealed her true intentions and was later wronged by the show, jasper stans continued to give her shit and would go as far as to derail posts about her to complain about how jasper needs to come back.

yall ever notice that a lot of these “The show treats butch characters poorly” complaint made by huge jasper stans, they all like to conveniently leave out bismuth. or treat her like a lost cause.

its almost as if a lot of these people dont really give a shit about butch/masculine characters being treated poorly and only get pissy because it’s someone who’s hot is getting treated like garbage
