Here is a ‪#‎socialportraits‬ painting created at Chinatown Remixed 2015. This one has an extra nice story to it. Chinatown Remixed was on the same day as Nuit Blanche Ottawa Gatineau 2015 and overlapped the event by a couple hours. I took this opportunity to paint Megan Smith, the curator of NBOG, during that time of overlap. The profile pic I chose was from the night of NBOG 2014. It's opportunities like this that continue to draw me deeper into this project.

After a break for a year I’m back in the swing of things. I’ll be painting 2-3 Social Portraits at Chinatown Remixed in Ottawa on Saturday Sept 19th from 2pm to 8pm at Clear Sky Vapes (621-1 Somerset Street West). I’ll be doing this at another event in October, more to come on that later.
