I recently adopted a new character design and have proceeded to go a little nuts drawing him. Pumpkin King (who I am affectionately calling PK) is my new favorite muse.
And since it's spoopy season, I had to toss him together with an older character of mine, Mirrikh the Reaper. The art of them turned out... much less spoopy than I intended. And they were roommates!

I require reference art for each piece I do. I prefer this to be in the form of a sta.sh link, a Zerochan link, or a Toyhouse profile, but direct uploads to a DM or Discord (if you prefer to talk there) work as well. I will not open any links that are unfamiliar to me.
Full payment is required before I will begin working on the piece. Payment must be made in 14 days before I give your spot to the next person.
Payment is through PayPal only. You will need to provide an email to be sent an invoice.
All prices are in USD. If you are using foreign currency, double check the conversion rate as I cannot be held responsible for any mess up during the conversion process.
Credit me as the artist when using these pieces. Sockling13 is my username on just about every bit of social media I use.
Unless you specify otherwise, I will continue to use the artwork as a part of my portfolio. You will, however, be credited as the original designer of the character. I tend to post my work on DeviantArt, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr, so please provide a username for any social media you'd like to be credited on.
My watermark will remain on the art (though paid for art, or art received in trades, will have a much smaller and less obtrusive watermark).
Commercial use of the art piece will not be allowed, unless discussed beforehand.
You have the right to cancel your commission at any point. However, your refund will be based on the current progress of your piece, as I still expect to be paid for my time whether you still wish to receive a final product or not.
Each piece will be sent at various stages for review, depending on which stage you purchased (sketch will just have a chance to request changes, outline will see the sketch and outline, and so on and so forth).
I have the right to turn down any commission that makes me uncomfortable, or I believe I will not be able to complete for any reason.
My normal turnaround time (TAT) is less than two weeks. Depending on work volume and current life events, this could be extended to upwards of 30 days. I will inform you during the initial request where I’m at with my TAT.

This is my lovely OC for @thearcanagame Quick sketchy type, but I can never not draw Alin~ Besides, I’m suuuuper excited for the next chapter of this game to be released, and throwing this, er, “shy” guy at all those beautiful faces available in Arcana.
Excuse me, but fan fiction is a work of fiction based on a pre-existing work that has been changed to suit the whims of the fan. And when I’m writing about a character who got very little screen time (biggest shame of the century there), I think I’m allowed some creative liberties to his personality when he’s not schmoozing to get his way, thank you.
Also, what the hell do you mean I can’t let my “personal feelings” get in the way of a story? Is fictional writing not all about personal feelings? So I hate a character and made them into a villain in a very plausible and emotional way, sorry you can’t figure out how fictional writing in general works.

The Feels
Sorry, no pictures (I’m not a fan) but today, I got my binder from gc2b apparel and to be honest, I was skeptical. $35 for something I had spent $120 for in a different style, design, and from a different company. And I hate the $120 one... wore it once. But the moment I put on that gc2b binder, I’ll man up to it - I cried. Tried a lot throughout the years to flatten my chest, which is hard when you’re the size I am. But this little binder, incredibly stretchy and apparently made of fucking magic, had me looking at myself and feeling better than I ever have. I don’t think I can fully express my amazement, joy, and complete gratitude but it’s all there in spades.
So thank you, GC2b, f or giving me something that finally makes my life more right.
OH MY GOD!!!!! Help me
Seeing everything going around about Leelah... I already knew I was so lucky to have my parents. They never argue in front of us, never tried to make us hide who we are.
But now I feel even more blessed for them. They may have troubles using the right pronouns sometimes, but my mother knew I was trans before I did. She started the conversation and just held me when I cried because I was scared. My mother knew I was asexual before I realized it and she told me she felt bad because we lived somewhere people really didn't even know that word. She knew about my first love before I did, and was sad there were many things in my way, but not because said love happened to be cis female while I am biologically so.
My dad has slight homophobia, but I know that he's trying so hard to understand me and that he'll always love me as his child. I know he's also trying so hard to put the homophobia aside to understand my 16 year old brother, who has come out as gay.
I have had many moments in my life where I wished others could be so lucky. No one is saying you as a parent need to be perfect, that you need to completely understand something you have no experience with immediately. But to show your children that you are trying. That you want to understand them, and though the process may be long, that you still love them as you did before.
That is what it should mean to be a loving parent. Perhaps more should practice it.

Just made my brother watch this the other day. This movie... religious movie, but it's not about the religion, it's about the messages, the themes. I could gush over this movie all day~
