I’m currently at work, but I couldn’t get this funny idea out of my head.

So! Pre identity reveal Justice League.

They’re on a mission near the island of themyscira. The barrier between the world of humans and gods is thin here and all of a sudden Diana says

“The gods are looking upon you favorably, my friend.” While speaking directly to Batman. She seems overly happy, maybe a combination of being close to home and the mission soon being over.

“I’m guessing it’s the goddess of death in my case.” His humor wasn’t lost on her, but she nonetheless shook her head.

“It’s Aphrodite.”

Hal who was within earshot, damn near fell out of the sky, catching himself at the last second, Flash face planted in the sand while speeding around to release nervous energy. Superman coughed loudly as he choked, while Martian didn’t seem to show much emotion like normal.

“It seems your beauty is to her liking that is a big compliment from someone of her stature.”

Diana moved on, while Batman simply shrugs, nods a thanks to the sky with a bow, before turning around and moving on too.

The rest of the team is damn near vibrating with excitement.

Just how does the dark knight look under that mask that even the goddess of beauty is complimenting him???
