i will be honest, i am very new to all this and seeing how it can help me more mentally etc. i don’t know how long i would even have this blog up because i am all over mentally and again, not used to / as informed about agere but it is something i have been doing involuntarily since forever without realizing the word for it. and i do have a lot of trauma where ppl turned my agere into something bad so i am just really, really new to this side of me and letting myself be comforted this way with no negative stuff to it. but it is still heavy and im trying to unpack and i just want to be silly!!!! also i get confused fairly easily and once again, am mentally ill so if you can’t be nice to me even just a tad or come here to harass or bully me, anything of that sort.. anything negative. genuinely go away. this is the only blog i have ever had for this stuff and i want this to remain a SFW, nostalgic happy silly blog. this is one of my only escapes. so genuinely please, leave me be if you can’t treat me human. or hate agere or anything like that. please /srs /gen

Here are some ideas for folks tht may be struggling getting up &&doing the tingz !!
♡ Print off a sticker chart !! Ik for me having external motivation aka cute lil stickers showing how good I’ve been can rly rly help !!
♡ Bring along your stuffie/favorite toy !! They’re your fren & wanna help u do the thing !!
♡ Play age-appropriate music & dance & sing along while u work !! This can make the thing feel less daunting & more silly & fun !!
♡ Have a kid-appropriate movie/tv show on in the background !! Just be sure to not get too distracted, little one !! ଘ(੭˃ᴗ˂)੭
♡ Ask your cg for a reward if u complete all da tingz !! Rewards can be things like regression time w them that night, sweets, etc !! If u don’t have a cg, thts totally ok !! U can also do these things solo !! ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )
♡ Make urself a snack/meal first !! Ik for me sometimes the energy boost is definitely needed !! Some age-appropriate foods can be apple slices w peanut butter/caramel, mac n cheese, milk in a baba, etc !! Just stay healthy little ones !!
♡ This one’s may be harder for some, but try calling another liddol fren/someone who supports your regression if you’ve got any !! I’m lucky enough to have this option, it’s ok if u don’t !! But sometimes talking to somebody helps me get up & at’em !!
♡ Play a regression podcast !! This one’s good for those of us tht may not have a cg/regression buddies to talk to !! When I’ve been cg-less these have rly rly helped me !! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

🎹He loves taking care of pet regressors and creatures, even if he’s not very good at it! He usually needs a little help-
💪Sometimes he likes to play house with his little one where he’s the baby and his regressor is the parent, and the regressor finds it hilarious!!! They shouldn’t be babying papa!!!
🎹He hosts karaoke nights for your friends, and lets you help make snacks!
💪He doesn’t talk about prison a lot while you’re regressed, he prefers to keep his time there separate from you for as long as possible.

my sisters r rewatching icarly and we just saw the episode where spencer feels rlly lonely and they all try and get him friends but he gets upset bc everyone his age just talks about grown up stuff and they dont like him bc hes childish so the crew indulges him and spend the day playing with him.... permaregressor spencer i love u and i feel so seen (and i wish i had a friend group like that 😭)
Yancy notices straight away that *something* is up with the newbie. Of course he tries to convince you to stay, as he does with everyone, but something feels off even if he can't quite put his finger on it.
If you need space after arriving, he is of course willing to do so. Yancy will also run interference between you and other inmates to make sure no one messes with you while you transition.
Even so, he finds himself keeping an eye on the new blood. "Just so they settle in right!"
Yancy shows you around, introduces you to his buddies, tells you who to avoid if you don't want trouble, and of course makes sure those troublemakers can see his "rippling muscles" if they look at you wrong.
The first time you regress around him, Yancy panics. He has no idea what's happening, no idea why you're suddenly clinging to him and bawling that you wanna go home, but watching you crash into that small headspace has so many things suddenly making sense.
Even if he doesn't know what's happening, Yancy still wants to be there for his new lil buddy! So he decides to show you why he's considered the best hugger in the prison.
"Hey now, yous ok! I gots ya. Yancy's gots ya." Once you calm down and actually explain what's happening, Yancy is confused but eager.
"Soooo...you turn into a lil kiddo? Aight, aight. A little kiddo needs a Papa though, huh? 'specially in a place like dis. Stick with me, kiddo. Yancy'll take care o' ya.
And if/when you say yes? Oh boy. You thought Yancy looked out for you before? Turn that dial up to 300. He's sweet talking the Warden so he can share a cell with you. He's holding your hand everywhere you two go. He finds out what your favorite food is, and that same thing magically appears in the cafeteria the next day.
If you ever have a nightmare or can't sleep, all you have to do is quietly call for Yancy. He finds out you're up past your bedtime, and he's having none of it.
"Aww, bud. Yous 'sposed to be sleepin'. C'mere, lemme cuddle ya."
100% would cut up your food for you. Even if you don't need it, he's so scared you'll choke or something. He would stop if you asked him to, but you'd also have a very watchful Yancy making sure you're not dying.
His fear of leaving would 100% be at war with his desire to care for you. Whatever you were in for, there's a chance that you'll be released. The idea of you having to navigate the terrifying world outside without him has Yancy seriously considering parole.
If you two were ever released? You would physically have to hold him back from using any/all money he has to spoil you. Nevertheless, Yancy would brave the job market to make sure his lil buddy was taken care of.
I imagine outside of prison Yancy would be into the grunge aesthetic. Grunge Papa CG?
He'd always rope you into watching musicals with him. "Yeah, even the cheesy ones. Yous gotta be well-rounded in the musical world kiddo."
All in all a very indulgent caregiver with a strong protective streak and a flair for dramatics!
