Yes she loves learning and collecting information and everyone thinks she just thinks bugs are cute. The joke? She doesnt. Shes actually a little scared of them. But as a young child a mantis and her almost killed each other and she realized they are just as scared as her. Worse, probably, because she can kill them and what could they do back? Sting her maybe?
No, rumi loves bugs because she feels extremely connected to them. People like the pretty ones but even those get harmed if they fly too close. She looks at the utter disgust pointed towards them and can only think ‘that will be me someday’ and so it goes. She has threatened random staff for trying to smash spiders. She begs Mira to collect anything that makes it into the penthouse and put it on her plants outside. She cried once so pathetically zoey joined in because there was a dead dragonfly trapped in the shower in some random hotel.
Rumi smiles and fake laughs and plays along with all the jokes about her bug obsession when she cant even be the one to catch spiders that come inside. The girls get her a pet millipede, mostly because they think she needs something to pay attention to that isnt her email inbox. It takes her Months to actually pick it up the first time and suddenly shes realizing that maybe her phobia was more self imposed than anything else.
Rumi vs self accusation but she only hits that point because some random twitter user says her pet millipede (whos named Haru) should be killed and she gets banned from the internet for three weeks because she tweets back his ip address. Rumi being forced to realize that shes so emotionally attached to bugs as a whole because she viewed herself as that trapped dragonfly that died terrified in a random shower. Rumi trying to explain this to the girls who only tease her a little bit and otherwise cuddle her despite mira asking if she needs to get cupped (which becomes the default way to ask if shes anxious)
Anyway someone take her millipede away because shes got the poor thing in her pocket AGAIN
freshly arrived to korea from the us, zoey would be doing the most random stuff and mira would be like "zoey you can't do that. its illegal" and rumi would immediately be like "no it's not, zoey don't worry". but after a while Rumi kinda starts playing along.
and when zoey decides to pick a flower from the sidewalk, it is now rumi who tells her, in a very worried tone "zoey no! that's illegal!". but it is so unexpected and ridiculous that mira bursts out laughing. rumi being super offended because "mira, come on! you just ruined my moment"
zoey meanwhile is deciding how to get rid of their bodies "so mean to meee"
i’ve seen a lot of people talking about mira having ibs and with that being said i totally see a world where she lowkey never stops being embarrassed about the state she leaves the bathroom in.
like at first zoey and rumi and super understanding of her embarrassment and try to do everything they can to make sure mira knows they genuinely don’t care but also they tend to just not bring it up at all to avoid the embarrassment all together.
but overtime rumi and zoey genuinely stop giving a fuck. especially when they all finally get together.
mira: *in the middle of a war*
zoey: *just sitting in the counter next to her* and then this one time my cousins tried to-
mira: zoey i love you dearly but can’t you see i’m fighting for my life right now. can we please talk about this later.
zoey: i just thought i keep you company, i mean who knows how long you could be here. i didn’t want you to be lonely.
mira: and i appreciate that i just don’t really want you to see me like this.
zoey: ?? girl be so for real
rumi: *opens the door* oh there you two are. *sits down on the floor across from mira* what are we talking about.
AU - Celine does not get custody of Rumi. She’s not Rumi’s biological family and she was the only one around when Miyeong was stabbed to death (not a good look in family court). Rumi is instead given to her demon hunter grandparents and raised by them. Although Celine can’t protect Rumi, she does leave to find the next hunters as fast as she can and make sure they’re safe. That’s how Mira and Zoey become hunters when they’re 10 and 9 respectively (without the actual hunting).
Years later, Celine receives a call that Rumi’s guardians lost custody of her and she’s asked if she can take Rumi in. Celine, of course, says yes and leaves Jeju island to pick her up in Seoul. She’s just not ready to see the former giggling baby now with clearly dyed black hair, nails cut down till there is hardly anything there, and refusing to say a word to anyone.
I like to think that rumi was only a good liar because her guard was up 24/7. she was always in the headspace of being defensive so lying was a skill she *needed* to be good at.
But the second zoey and mira make it clear that she doesn’t need to be on guard around them, like drill it into her head with hugs and kisses and reassuring words in the peaceful bubble of their bed, rumi becomes the worst liar ever.
She literally can’t do anything in secrets nor can she hold them. One time she tries to plan a secrets date with zoey and mira and the first step of her plan is to convince them that they have a last minute shoot somewhere for promo and the was she delivers the line is so unconvincing that zoey and mira look at her weird and she caves and tell them everything.
She tries doing this many more times throughout the years. Eventually zoey and mira pick up on the signs and start playing along because it always makes rumi so sad when she can’t surprise them.
Yes I'm still obsessed with KPDH in March 2026... it's been nine months. I posted this oneshot a while ago on AO3 but figured tumblr might enjoy it. Here's a little rumi sickfic for those who dabble
It was 3am. Seoul was buzzing, as always, but quieter that it was night time. Everything in the Huntrix tower was peaceful. Well.. other than Mira
Mira was still awake. She couldn’t sleep. That part made sense. Stress, overthinking, and all the other factors loved to sneak up on her. But when she couldn’t sleep.. She had to do something with her hands. Right then, she was making herself tea. It was calming. She zoned out into the familiar process…
That was until she got jumpscared by Rumi’s glowing eyes and patterns shimmering through the dark.
“Fuck!” Mira said, jumping. She almost spilled tea on herself, but thankfully she set it down.
“Sorry.” Rumi’s voice came, soft and slightly scratchy. “Didn’t mean to startle you.”
Mira nodded. “It’s fine.” She said, before pausing to think. Why was Rumi up? Did she have a nightmare? She didn’t look scared. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah.” Rumi muttered calmly. Mira ticked off the possibility of nightmare in her mind. She was much more shaken after those.
“Then what are you doing awake? It’s 3am.” Mira questioned, tone trailing with the slightest concern.
“I could ask you the same question” Rumi bit back playfully, though it seemed half-hearted.
“I couldn’t sleep. But you? When you don’t have nightmares, you sleep like a baby. What’s your excuse, hm?” Mira said, getting slightly irritated at her avoidance.
“I don’t know.” Rumi mumbled pathetically.
“Ugh.. fine. Want tea?” Mira said, offering her a cup of what she’d just made. She didn’t want it to go to waste.
“Sure” Rumi replied, sitting down at the island and taking some. She sipped quietly.
“Seriously, any idea why you’re up?” Mira asked, one brow raised.
“Couldn’t sleep, I guess..” Rumi said, shifting closer to Mira. Mira recognized this instantly. Their leader was painfully obvious when she wanted affection, but instead of just asking she did this weird mix of moving closer, pouting, and looking pitiful until she got what she wanted.
"C’mere, dummy.” Mira murmured affectionately, and Rumi instantly obliged. Mira wrapped her arms around her in a hug, but startled and pulled back at how warm her skin felt. “Fuck, Rumi.”
“What?” The oblivious girl asked.
“You’re burning up,” Mira scolded, putting a hand on her forehead as if to prove her point. Yep. Fever.
Rumi just hummed, moving back into her arms. “I felt a little off this morning..”
Mira remembered. How had she not noticed? She’d been coughing all day!
Mira sighed. “Come on, Rumi. You know better than this. We said no more lies, remember?!”
“Yeah, but….” Rumi trailed off. She looked guilty, and her lip jutted out in a soft pout.
“Whatever,” Mira said, calmer now. She kissed her forehead. “Doesn’t matter. Let’s get you back to bed”
“Okay” Rumi mumbled, in no hurry to argue with her.
And that was when Zoey chose the perfect moment to bust out of her room. She sludged out groggily, unbothered until her eyes landed on them. Then, she moved forward.
“WHAT are you guys doing? It’s like, 3am and- Rumi you look terrible, what-” Zoey rambled.
“Shh..” Mira shushed her. She gestured to the sick girl in her arms. She looked half asleep already. “She’s sick. She needs rest.”
Zoey nodded, then said “Well, don’t leave me out~” and braced herself on the other side of Rumi.
Together, the three of them walked to Mira’s room. It was dubbed the cuddle room, because Rumi’s room was freakishly tidy all the time (it freaked Zoey out). and Zoey’s bed was filled with plushies, leaving just enough room for her.
Mira got Rumi settled on the bed, and Zoey crawled to the inside of the bed. Mira, subsequently, took the outside. Seemingly all at once, Mira and Zoey pressed to Rumi.
“I can’t breathe” Rumi said, breathless. Mira and Zoey eased up.
“Sorry!” Zoey said, opting to nuzzle into her neck.
Mira chose to wrap an arm around her shoulders. “You should get some rest, Rums. We love you.” She said, tone quiet and affectionate.
“Yeah, we do.” Zoey said sleepily, already half-asleep against the older girl.
“I love you guys, too..” Rumi said, before falling asleep.
And that was how the night ended. One sick girl squished between her two loving girlfriends. Cozy, a little too warm, but loved.
So Rumi plays the guitar (we see her with one) and it’s a common headcanon that Mira plays piano but what does Zoey play. I know she’s gotta play SOMETHING. I can see her playing guitar too or honestly piano too (as that’s a common instrument for schools) oooooo wait great idea; Zoey being in band in high school. Give her a big ass brass instrument.
polytrix lifer but can we please acknowledge how perfect the ship name Rumira is? like it’s perfectly equal to both of their names and everything and the little perfectionist demon in my head craves it.
i see your rumira enemies/rivals to friends hc based on the scene of them clashing on the train and raise you:
they meet for the first time and rumi becomes mira's first real friend, the first person who was ever kind to her in return for nothing, for no other reason than to be kind, the first person to see mira's struggles and acknowledge them and support her through them
and when she sees rumi visibly struggling in the same way she was back when they first met, mira wants sooo badly to be there for rumi in the same way rumi was for her except rumi won't. let. her!! and it's that frustration of not being able to be there for rumi (and maybe hurt at the thought that maybe rumi didn't trust her enough to be there for her) that bubbles over
this actually adds sooooo much to them. mira: these are my girls and one of them is hurting and won’t let me help and rumi: if i can just fake it a little longer then i wont be a burden to them anymore
Can you rec some of your favourite wenclair fics, recent ones if possible 🙏
Absolutely! I have a few that I'd absolutely recommend but fyi they're not all that recent 🤧
1. No Caption Needed by Wennox3

The tension Between Enid and Wednesday in this one is freaking CRAZY. Totally recommend but unfortunately it's not a complete story and I haven't seen any updates for a continuation as of now :<
3. Cool about it by randomiska
Another super cute fake dating trope I enjoyed reading it wholeheartedly 🫶 also Thing is a tarantula in this which I found really cool!
Now some honourable mentions!
1. Sprinkle of Sunshine Poisoning by Laylajeffany
Hands down ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE FOR SURE. I LOVE IT SO MUCH (also Layla if you're reading this I'm still scared to read your other Wenclair book because it's so enormous but at the same time I KNOW I'm going to eat it up)
2. A Kidnapping By Any Other Name by RavenMoon33
Gosh... Where do I even BEGIN with this one?? Now I was going to recommend a few more but since I do not know your age I'll refrain from doing so because they are more explicit and/or with heavy adult themes 🙏
Celine joking once in an interview as a teenager/early twenties before Rumi was ever a thing that her goal was to live long enough to be a very, very meddlesome grandmother. Mostly just to make the audience laugh when comparing aspirations with other singers from other groups.
Zoey finding this interview and proceeding to be a menace about it. She absolutely gives Rumi hell about how obviously she has to make Celine a grandmother, it's literally her life's aspiration duh.
Rumi surprisingly unfazed pointing at Derpy, "Behold, a fur-grandbaby."
"You can't put an overgrown spirit tiger in a sweater and feed it soup and criticize it's schooling while saying it's gotten fat."
His name is Ye-jun. Supposedly it means "talented" and "handsome". (He's neither of those things, by the way. His sister evidently took all those genes.)
He stands perfectly straight up, like someone shoved a metal rod down the back of his shirt to prevent him from even daring to slouch. He walks stiffly and with heavy footfalls as if he's just expecting his presence alone to command the attention of everyone, because that's how it's been for him his whole life. He never needed to work for nobody's approval.
Zoey's met him in person only a handful of times and she can just tell he hates her too. He glares down his nose at her, like he's trying to figure out what the hell he's looking at.
(Someone who loves Mira, asshole.)
He looks at Rumi like he somehow knows something is wrong with her, and he very deliberately wants her to know he knows.
(He doesn't know anything about Rumi.)
He squints real hard when he scrutinizes the other two HUNTR/X members, as though he was convinced that these two people who love his younger sister like it's as easy as breathing are just simple mirages. Mira told her once that the squinting was because he needed glasses. He just didn't wear them.
(It was the one thing he had in common with his sister.)
He's five years older than Mira and three inches shorter than her, even with his vertical advantage. He talks with this smug inflection that sounds like at any moment he's about to burst out into a proud "told-you-so" laugh, even when he's trying (pretending) to be nice.
He smells like really artificial leather and cedarwood.
His hands aren't as bony as Mira's. He's not as lanky. Zoey hates what that implies. (That someone cared more for him growing up.)
He once cleared his throat very loudly when Rumi was talking to him at an event, like he figured she'd take the hint that he was "politely" dismissing her. (Imagine having the gall to treat Ryu Rumi like that!)
He once recognized Bobby backstage at one of their shows, from his acting days. Then proceeded to openly comment on how he "fell off hard" by the end of his career. Their manager's smile was the most forced they'd ever seen, and they'd seen Bobby force some smiles before. (Imagine having the gall to insult Bobby! In front of them too!)
In fact, the more she's had to interact with him, the more Zoey realizes that Mira's "brutally honest" tendencies must come from him. He's never had a single nice thing to say to them. Ever.
"That little one moves too much."
"Your leader behaves like a statue."
"They make you act crazy, you're not like this usually."
He barely ever called them by their names either - they were "your leader" and "the little one" as far as Mira's brother was concerned. Zoey thinks she wouldn't have been surprised if he started calling them "girlfriend #1 and #2" after he found out they were both dating Mira.
(There was something satisfying about the fact that in turn, the news outlets and fan blogs never called the bastard by his name either. If they had to acknowledge him for some reason, he was always "Mira's brother". The HUNTR/X fans weren't interested in knowing his name. Why should they be anyways? When the more interesting, more accomplished, far more gorgeous sister was right there?)
Oh, and don't get her started on how he reacted when he found out the three of them were dating.
"Don't you get jealous? When they kiss each other, or hug each other, or whatever?"
"You must have a favorite between the two of them, right? It's the little one, isn't it?"
"So...do you like...all three of you...every night?" (Mira had grinded her boot directly into his ankle for that one.)
In a lot of ways, Ye-Jun Kang reminded Zoey of a bully she had back in school in California. Certainly not her worst one (that would be Olivia Thompson), but definitely one of her most annoying ones. Unlike him, however, Zoey never once in her life felt threatened by Mira's brother. She wasn't intimidated by him, never had been. Never had a reason whatsoever to be.
She doesn't understand how such a nasty human being can share blood with someone like Mira.
More than how he made her feel, though, Zoey hated how he made Mira feel even more.
Mira is strictly "no contact" with her parents. She never talks about it, Zoey and Rumi never ask.
(Zoey has asked, actually. Once. A long time ago, trying to prod either one of her cagey acquaintances for any kind of common ground or shared interests. She had exhausted a handful of icebreakers - "Favorite ice cream flavor?", "Go-to karaoke song?", "Embarrassing injuries?", "…favorite color?" - before the subject had fallen on "what are your parents like?". That had gotten a reaction out of the redhead, but the maknae hadn't realized at the time that it was a bad one. So she had pressed on that one, just a little too hard maybe.
It was the first and last time Mira got pissed off enough at her to tell her to shut up.
Zoey sometimes remembers how she retreated to her room afterwards, ignorant of the "wa-wait, I-" that followed her hesitantly as she locked her door to sulk in peace. How she had accepted in that moment that she had no chance actually befriending either of the people she was going to be spending the better part of the next decade with. How she had wanted to give up the whole idol dream in that moment. Had wanted to just go home. Whether "home" was mom's place in Incheon or…dad's in Burbank, it didn't matter. Because "home" obviously wasn't here, under the shared roof of a very large property somewhere on Jeju that still felt too small and enclosed for three very different - maybe even too different - youths.
She remembers how she had felt about Mira in that moment…and how aggressively it contrasted to how she felt about her now.)
Her brother is a different story. Whenever there was some big event or awards show that HUNTR/X was front and center at, he was there. Always. Every time.
And if he was allowed (he very frequently was not), he'd follow them backstage afterwards to say "hi". (And then say much more than that.)
It was Rumi actually who had first made the accusation that he was interested in his sister's success because he wanted something out of it. Ye-jun had insisted, in his punchable voice, that he was only there to support Mira. That was all.
Zoey didn't believe him with a single fiber of her being. She knew Rumi didn't either. (Rumi was their residential expert on lying, after all.)
Mira wanted to believe him, though. Both of them could see that.
And it was hard for Zoey to wrap her mind around that at first, why she wanted to believe him.
Because Mira was usually a very good judge of character. And if anybody was going to pinpoint her own brother for disingenuous care and ulterior motives, you'd think it'd be her.
It had sucked, realizing over time, the reasons Mira must've had to believe her brother genuinely wanted to be a part of her life.
Because he was the "least worst" of her family. (And the original confession of that alone had sucked enough. Made Zoey want to beat up Mira's parents more than she already did before.)
Because, in some strange way, Mira also saw him as a "victim". They had grown up in the same house, after all. Under the exact same demanding, cold and distant parents who must have had much too high expectations for a six and eleven year old. They had solidarity in that regard, right? (Wrong. Ye-jun was the favorite. Zoey knew that already.)
Because he hadn't completely rejected her. Not like their parents had. (Not like he accepted her any more, of course. He just didn't want to push her out of his life. Maybe that was worse than if he had.)
Because at least, in some way, you could argue that he's trying. Ye-jun and Mira did not get along at all. Whenever he was around, all they ever did was piss each other off. All they did was fight. But still, he always showed up. He was always in the audience. Always there to support his sister, just as he claimed. And maybe that made it easier to believe him when he said he cared.
(Not to Zoey. Because she knew somebody else who was trying to re-establish familial connections, every single day. Somebody who meant the world to Rumi. Who wanted Rumi to know that she meant the world to her as well, no matter what her past teachings might've convinced her otherwise. Somebody who was trying. Somebody who did care.)
Because he was the only piece of her "real" family she could cling onto that wasn't her deda, who lived over 900 miles away in a completely different country.
Mira never said that last part out loud. She probably never would.
For all intents and purposes, HUNTR/X was Mira's "real" family. Rumi and Zoey were her "real" family. Celine was her "real" family. Bobby was her "real" family. Nothing else was.
She had made that much clear many times before already.
But the longer this shadow from her past lingered around, and as long as he was welcomed to, the more he worried her.
Because all he ever did was upset Mira.
Which made Zoey upset.
And both Zoey and Mira being upset made Rumi upset.
Which meant they would all be upset. Not because of something like the Honmoon splintering or demons interrupting their personal bonding time.
Because of some smug sounding jerk who smelled like the inside of an expensive car and just so unfortunately happened to be related to the love of Zoey's life.
It's been pointed out before, but the girls' weapons can slice through demons in an instant. There is no reason for them to be physically beating on the demons the way they're shown to do, but they do it anyways. Because they're feral little creatures who choose violence.
That had me thinking, though...(Well, this in particular had me thinking...)
How violent do you think a demon vs. demon fight would be? Like a close quarters, no weapons, fangs and claws fight, I mean. A fight where neither of them are going to just disappear afterwards.
And by "demon vs. demon fight", I mean a "demon vs. half-demon fight". And of course by that, I mean a "demon vs. feral demon mode Rumi".
(Read below at your own risk. It gets...wild. I can't be stopped, I'm not sorry-)
Feral demon mode Rumi, in a blind bloodthirsty rage because she thinks she just witnessed her precious girls die in combat (they didn't, but Rumi suddenly can't find them in the midst of a huge fray, and only assumes the worst).
Feral demon mode Rumi - all horns and fangs and claws and burning, crimson red patterns - who is suddenly stripped of her own weapon by the Honmoon itself because it can't recognize who she is right now.
But that's okay, she doesn't need it. She has other weapons now.
No more "popstar idol Rumi Ryu", even if it's only for a brief moment. But for that moment, there's only a demon where she was.
An angry, vengeful demon, who now believes the two best things that ever happened to her are gone. And the thing that took her loves - another horrid demon and a small horde of his ilk - is still standing.
Still standing, even when one of her claws makes a perfect, clean swipe right through his throat. He wishes he wasn't. The others around him wish he wasn't. Because the smell of blood makes demons more aggressive, more ferocious. And it's a frenzy in seconds.
And each time Rumi tears one demon down, the smell of blood on her claws, the taste of it on her fangs - it just enrages her further. And she can't stop, doesn't stop, until there's not a single one left capable of getting up again.
And God knows what happened to them in the interim (use your imagination-), but when Mira and Zoey eventually find Rumi again, she's surrounded by demon corpses. Corpses, because the Honmoon hadn't willed them away.
And Rumi, of course, sees her girls are alive and immediately calms down like she isn't standing in the middle of an absolute massacre, blood on her hands and mouth.
Mira and Zoey don't know what to do. They know it's Rumi, that she won't hurt them. That she doesn't want to hurt them.
But...what they're looking at is irrefutably a demon.
A blood-soaked demon. Surrounded by bodies.
Their blood-soaked demon surrounded by bodies, who seems to slowly but surely be realizing what she's done, and what she must look like.
Their Rumi. Their love. Their leader. Who looks like she's about to be sick. And it doesn't matter how much blood there is, how many bodies there are, how sick they themselves feel from the smell of decay alone. Rumi needs them. Needs them close now. And it's not a question.
She had needed them at the Idol Awards, and they had failed her then. Not this time. Never again.
Rumi doesn't hug them back. But that's okay. She doesn't need to.
I'm getting slightly bored waiting for the poll to conclude so in the meanwhile, I'm just gonna list down the food in the movie for funsy.
Besides the iconic ramyun, there were:
Gimbap
Specifically 마약김밥 or Mayak-gimbap for the uncut roll (notice the vegetables sticking out), and the cut gimbap might be spam or ham gimbap? Since there's a red part there that resembles meat more than vegetables.
(For those who don't know: Sushi and gimbap are different in that sushi uses raw fish, while all the ingredients in gimbap are cooked and vegetables (carrots, danmuji, perilla leaves, etc.) are the common toppings though there are gimbap that have meat products like cheese, tuna, roe, etc.)
2. Eomuk Tang
Eomuk Tang translate to Fishcake (어묵/Eomuk) Soup (탕/Tang) because fishcake is slowly cooked in anchovy broth (which I would recommend to drink, it's very good especially on cold winter days).
3. Hotteok
I was just about to say that hotteok (호떡) is kind of like pancakes, but now that I think about it, it's much closer to doriyaki. Being a pancake-like sweet with a sweet filling. In hotteok's case, it's usually filled with brown sugar, honey, cinnamon and nuts (I think peanuts or walnuts), but nowadays, there's a variety of trendy flavors now.
4. Sundae/Soondae
순대 or Sundae or Soondae is sausage made from pig's blood, rice, vegetables and spices stuffed in pig or cow intestine (cleaned, don't worry) before being steamed.
5. Mul-naengmyeon
As of today, 물 냉면 or mul naengmyeon is a summer dish, because it's a noodle soup served cold, so it's very refreshing to eat when it's hot outside.
6. Breadbasket
The stereotypical loaf there reminds me of salt bread (소금빵) which was trendy for some time in Korea. As for the round brown balls, I think I read an article speculating that it's boiled eggs, but I personally think they're cream ppang (크림빵) :3
7.-10. Banchan
Banchan are small plates of side dishes that help add or enhance the main dish or help the eater cleanse their pallet after eating. 7 is bap or cooked rice, 8 is eomuk bokkeum or stir fried fishcake, 9 was hard to see because it's at the edge of the screen, but I think it resembles oi sobagi or kind of like cucumber kimchi, and 10 was also hard to guess because it's very blurry, but from the reddish color and cube shape, it's probably kkadugi or diced radish kimchi.
11. ???
This was even harder to figure out since this is the only shot we had of this bowl, but from what little I can see from the top of the rim, I think it might be galbitang ( 갈비탕) or beef short rib soup. But I'm unsure so...
12. Chips
shrimp chips. just shrimp chips.
The hangul on zoey's chips literally just says "Potato chip" (감자/Gamja - Potato; 칩/Chip). Fun fact: if yoo look very closely, the chip is ketchup flavored :D
13-14. Beverages
13 - Milk tea. that's literally it.
14 - is a can of juice! it resembles Haiti's Podo Bong Bong which is grape juice with real grape pieces!
But you know what's amusing?
The food they grabbed the most were:
Gimbap (Rumi grabbed the cut rolls once then proceed to demolish the uncut roll by herself; Mira grab some cut gimbap twice; Zoey took twice as well)
Hotteok (All the girls grabbed some hotteok each)
Zoey grabbed some soondae twice.
Zoey tore into two bags of chips.
Mira grabbed a skewer of eomuk.
Rumi and Zoey each grabbed one cream ppang.
You know what a majority of these (except the ppang) all have in common? They're all street food. So now, I'm having an image in my head about the girls sneaking out at night during their trainee days for some food, and they just bounce from pojangmacha to pojangmacha (street food carts) trying as much as their allowance can buy them and they did iit so many times that they learn to recognize things like – this halmeoni makes the biggest gimbap for cheap; that imonim there has the best broth to pair with eomuk kkochi; the harabeoji in the corner makes hotteok that aren't too sweet; that sajangnim really knows how to make his soondae. Maybe they even get friendly with one imo who jokingly ask them about them what they're doing up so late, and the girls shyly tell her they were craving some food, and the imo hums and asks how they're doing in high school, they hesitantly tell her that they're trainees, and the imo is so awed and encourage them to eat more, that they look too thin, and they should eat as much as they can, idols are always going on diets and all that, joking that she'll cover for them if their daepyonim ever asks, giving them a "Fighting!" to cheer them on, etc.
