regressor john doe headcanons because I'm very normal (keep interactions spoiler free, I'm only at like part 10 of the podcast)
ā¢ sensory seeking , but also sensitive to certain textures. dislikes rough fabrics, so he will seek softer fabrics
ā¢ tactile stimmer , often pokes and prods at arthur with his tentacles , loves messing with arthur's hair the most , it's the best texture !
ā¢ also big on music , if he's fussy , he can typically be soothed with music
ā¢ more specifically ; faroe's song , it's one of john's favorite tunes , in and out of regression
ā¢ drowns himself in blankets when feeling small
ā¢ arthur calls him things like 'little lamb' or 'sweet prince'
ā¢ a stubborn regressor , often too caught up in protecting arthur that he pushes off regressing
ā¢ definitely a vent regressor , the first time he regressed with arthur was entirely unintentional , something he read that caused an intense flashback left him frazzled
ā¢ arthur immediately could tell something was wrong from the way john fell into an abnormal silence-- " john ? friend ? " he had kept calling out
ā¢ of course when john did respond , he was more quiet , audibly nervous
ā¢ arthur's semi-decent fatherly instincts kicked in big time , and still do whenever he notices his sweet prince is feeling small
ā¢ looms behind arthur , especially in public
ā¢ incredibly clingy , he acts as if him and arthur are still one physical being with how he smooshes up against the other man
ā¢ enjoys children's radio shows
ā¢ needs a nightlight , the dark brings back bad memories
ā¢ very scared baby , any mention or memory of the dark world and he's sent to tears , he doesn't want to go back !
ā¢ embarrassed about his regression , he is a fragment of a god ! not a baby ..
ā¢ occasionally pet regresses to a lamb , deer , or a kitten , but this is more rare , his petre is typically more positive and peaceful than his agere
ā¢ when deer regressed , arthur likes to call john ' his doe '
ā¢ pancakes . he wants pancakes very very badly . will always give his sweet eldritch equivalent of puppy eyes , begging arthur to order them some pancakes
