Don’t say that you’re okay with age regression if you aren’t okay with

Whiney littles.

Padded littles.

Littles who have accidents.

Littles who throw tantrums.

Littles who misbehave.

Littles who get on their caregivers nerve and push their buttons.

Littles who are sensitive.

Littles who get unapologetically cranky and snappy at times.

Littles who need things to be just right.

Littles who are a bit of a brat (or a lot of a brat!)

Littles who have meltdowns of rage.

Littles who scream, cry, crash out and throw fits.

Littles who are boys.

Littles who are girls.

Littles who are trans.

Littles who are gnc (gender non-conforming.)

If you’re just not ready to handle ALL aspects of little space. The good, the bad, the cutesy, the ugly, etc.

I refuse to believe that you aren’t okay with Little Space unless you’re ready to handle the ENTIRE Little Space. It is a HUGE red flag for me.

Age regressor who has to reinvent what childhood could have been like because they were too busy caring for everyone else and themself as a child

anyone else think pure / impure regression tags actually suck a lot? Age regression is a coping mechanism, and everyone is gonna experience it different. A lot of us literally using it as a way to cope through things that have happened to us. Some will use it as a way to process things that may not fit into the pastel age regression aesthetic, that doesn’t mean they should have to tag their regression as IMPURE???

I don’t care how cute or messy your regression is, you’re valid whether you like sticking to a fun aesthetic, or if use your regression to get all your big bad feelings out. There’s no such thing as being a pure regressor, in the same way there’s no such thing as it being impure. Regress however you see fit, as long as it’s healthy and safe of course!

let's talk about caring for a regressor with PTSD/trauma.

i think a lot of regressors would describe themselves as sensitive when they're regressed, which makes sense. but when that heightened sensitivity is engulfed in panic attacks and flashbacks? it's truly devastating to witness.

if you're a carer to a little one with PTSD/trauma, know that i'm proud of you and your kiddo knows how much you love them. i sometimes struggle with blaming myself for setbacks in my kid's recovery, and if anyone feels the same, i want you to know that i know you're doing the best you can. remember that you're not responsible for their healing, and although you truly want to be there for your little one, you deserve to have your needs met too.

of course, such low lows make the highs seem even higher; the mornings when your kid wakes up and says they had no nightmares; teaching them to use self soothing techniques; proving to them each and every day that you're not going anywhere... don't get me wrong. i would do anything to rid my kid of their trauma. but i wouldn't trade them for the world.

Ok controversial opinion by agere/agedre dose not help my inner child, it just makes me feel more comfortable in being my self and express things im already intrested in. Nothing will heal my inner child because financially she was never denied anything and was incredibly spoiled. Instead she was parentifed and emotionally neglected. She dosent want soft care of toys or playtime. She wants to hurt the people who hurt her. To scream at them, hit them, degrade them until they feel the pain they made her feel. She wants to be herself freely with out being afraid of others judgeing or shameing her. What she really wants is to make them feel what she felt at her lowest. To be so broken and helpless that their only escape was death. She will always be angry. Agere simply helps me be more aligned in who I am not how I heal.
