Bones smiled ruefully back at the cart owner, trying to avoid shivering. Clanking armor would just draw attention to the fact even more.

He was on his way back to the Ruins after a supply run. If Bones had lived in Snowdin, he probably would never have approached this guy. But he would be warmer soon enough.

“Y-yeah, it’s splendid. Real… pretty,” the guard replied, trying to find something pleasant but truthful to say. The special did sound tasty… “Sure! How much for two cones?” he asked, thinking of the queen. An unusual treat might bring a smile to her face.

“Two cones? That’ll be uhh--” He takes a moment to himself to do some calculating. He was never good at doing this off the top of his head, but after a few moments he finally nods and grins.

“Fifteen G!”

He opens up his cart after saying this, in order to get the fella’s nice cream. His tiny tuft of a tail wagging happily behind him as he did.

“Say I don’t think I’ve ever seen ya around here before! Are ya new to Snowdin buddy?”
