That feeling when you’ve fallen for yet another, kind of obscure, fictional character and there’s little to nothing for them anywhere. Not a good feeling

I used to think i wasn’t a sappy romantic. I didn’t like romance movies (still not a huge fan, I prefer explosions), I didn’t like the idea of PDA, and I wasn’t a fan of marriage. Then I figured out that I did indeed like the idea of those things, I just don’t like the idea of sharing those experiences with a man. I came out two years ago and since then the label I refer to myself as, is continuously changing but I want to start this year by saying I am proud. I am proud of myself for being me. I am proud of anyone else for being themselves too. Have a wonderful year, here’s hope for a better, safer, more accepting (And gayer!), 2022

I’m sure this has been said before but it’s still important - at least to me. If you are interested in playing an instrument? do it. Music is one of the very few universal languages, and if it’s fun, continue. Do not, force kids to learn an instrument, and do not force them to learn certain songs on that instrument. That is a sure fire way to make sure they won’t enjoy it and won’t pick it up again. Playing an instrument is meant to be dynamic and fit the person playing it, it doesn’t need to have strict guidelines.

Hey if you’re looking for a new video game for pcs and laptop I really really really recommend “Inscryption”. It’s on Steam for like 20 bucks and the art style is absolutely gorgeous. there are 3 acts but act 1 is by far my favorite, lots of strategy with some slight horror elements and lots of trial and error. So if you excuse me this game will be my hyper-fixation for the next week as I attempt to go completionist and get all the achievements

All I ask for, all I want, is for Pokémon to have multiple career routes. Nothing about the gameplay has to change, I’m absolutely fine battling and adore the gym challenges but for the love of god I don’t want to be the champion. I’m replaying swsh right now and if I could? I’d let Hop win in a heart beat. Cause I don’t want to be the champion, that’s so much publicity, and a lot of people, and pressure to never lose, and I’m not here for it. I’ll be a gym leader or even a professor please I just - i want career paths so bad cause I don’t want to be the champion anymore.

Hi, hello, I wear glasses. Not only do I wear glasses I have since about first grade and my vision is about that of a star-nosed mole that has been held up to a bright LED light until its eyesight was even worse than it was. Now that that’s cleared up here’s my issue: people with eyeliner are like super attractive right? And sometimes I look at pretty people with eyeliner and think “hm! I wanna try that!” But the thing is: I can’t. Because I wear glasses I can’t put the eyeliner on without taking them off but when I take off my glasses I can’t see anything enough to put the eyeliner on. It’s this horrid, vicious cycle and I needed to scream about it. Thanks for listening, enjoy your scrolling.

I’m shouting this into the void of tumblr out rage for a recent realization. I FULLY thought I had a fictional crush on this character right? But then found a new character who’s dynamic was even better for me and I was forced to realize that I do not in fact like the first character I just REALLY relate to them and I’m screaming.

Let’s normalize switching aesthetics daily. Some days I wanna learn how to skateboard so I can zoom through a graffiti filled street at golden hour. Some days I want to retreat into a quaint little cottage at the edge of town with an herb garden. Some days I want to sit in an observatory and watch the stars for hours as they glide by. Some days I wanna be in a rock band and wear heavy eyeliner. Some days I want to be a baker that rises with the sun to make sweet muffins and save some for the school kids that walk past. Some days I want to do all of the above.

You’re safe until you picture your comfort character knocking on the door when you’re in the middle of crying, telling you to get in the car, then living the plot of a coming of age movie with you. You’re safe as long as you don’t picture getting fast food, doing donuts in a dirt lot, and blasting music with your comfort character in your car. But what’s the fun in always playing it safe?

Sometimes when I’m sad, I feel like a whole different self, so I made happy frog and sad frog to represent those states of mind. When I’m sad frog, I not only feel sad about the original problem, but I also feel sad about being sad frog (something I didn’t even realize was happening until I went to therapy!). This comic is a reminder that it really is okay to be sad frog. Sometimes happy frog is on a break, so be kind to your sad frog, okay? ♡

Some criminally underrated Disney characters

Some underrated Disney characters for your consideration. Please know the numbers mean no kind of rank, they're literally just chronological cause I’m writing this for pure fun and ohmygoodiness I just adore these characters.

1: M-O from “WALL-E”

ALRIGHT, M-O is this tiny, spunky neat-freak robot from Wall-E that will do anything (And I mean god near *anything*) to clean. It makes him happy and then his eyes change and oh my goodness he’s adorable. Not to mention he saves Eve and Wall-E at one point and then formally introduced himself after cleaning Wall-E’s hand (Claw? Pincher?) in order to shake it.

2: Nani from “Lilo and Stitch”

Best big sister. She worked hard to support her sister and herself and eventually not just stitch but TWO other aliens as well (Jumba and Pleakley, who are also underrated but they’re a story for another day). Nani always tried to put Lilo first and look out for her, even telling her that even though Lilo cost Nani her job, that it was because her boss was a vampire.

3: Roger from “101 Dalmatians”

Awkward yet smooth with superb music abilities. Fantastic, 10/10, love his characterization so so much (and the art style of “101 Dalmatians” in its entirety). Also wrote one of, if not the MOST iconic Disney villain theme songs ‘Cruella De Vil’. Great character, deserves love.

4: Mama Odie from “Princess and the Frog”

Funky little witch lady that lives in the middle of the swamp and talks to snakes, flamingos and frogs, while making potions and gumbo all day. In other words, exactly what I aspire to be. Also her song ‘Dig a Little Deeper’ is always a bop and she’s a stellar character.

5: Wasabi, Go-Go, Honey-Lemon, Fred, and Tadashi from “Big Hero 6″

Bunch of teenagers interested and invested in STEM with varying personalities between each and every one of them. All of their moments on screen make me laugh uncontrollably or keep me on the edge of my seat no matter how many times I’ve watched that master-piece of a movie.
