I like to imagine that, in this universe, Mike and Will were childhood friends who ran away together to camp. When they were claimed, they suffered a bit because of the other campers. Mike, for being a son of Hades, and Will for being friends with someone like him. Even so, they never separated, and their necklaces are proof of that, proof of their genuine friendship. When they are older, counselors of their cabins, their feelings begin to change. Missions they do together, their knees touching at campfire nights, training with something different in the air...🤭
