Big news! We launched the announcement trailer for Solace State!!! It’s up now at the IGN x ID@Xbox show. Solace State has been a total labor of love, and we’re so excited to share it with the world! The new trailer features narration by Vanille Velasquez (Zeri from League & Valorant’s Neon) and is designed by Gary Kings.

Solace State features over 30 hand-drawn characters, 38 endings, 3D cityscapes and a brilliantly moody electronica soundtrack.

After literal years of hard work, we’re finally launching on Xbox & Steam this summer! If you dig queer indie games, romance, and taking down evil biotech conglomerates, give Solace State a look!

INDIGO in Utrecht, Netherlands was just last Friday, but the memories made there will last such a long time! What an incredible event! And now I have another announcement to make!  I’m excited to be in New York again and finally attending Game Devs of Color Expo on July 14th. It’s taking place at the wonderful Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. I’ve been looking forward to GDoCExpo since seeing the growing excitement and tweets online last year! I’m so thrilled to be asked to showcase Solace State and also give a microtalk entitled “Finding Strength in the Struggle: On Creating a Social Impact Game”. Both this year and last year are prolific with an intensity of awe-inspiring speakers and games, so I’m among giants! Hope to see you there, there’s 25+ games and 25+ speakers lined up! Tickets are $5 - $20.

New screenshot in 3D visual novel Solace State! We are doing our first European showcase on June 29, at INDIGO, Utrecht! 

We’re very excited to show off our latest build. The game now has two modes, where you can have in-world conversations with characters, and another one where the text is written on the walls. Game environment are fully articulated in 3D. The beautiful character art that you see here is illustrated by @courtneyhowlett! Level design by @vividfoundry, additional art assets by @haimikki, programming by Gabriela Kim Passos.
