I ordered this custom board via text and phone calls so I really haven’t t seen it in the flesh until today. I had no idea about the koru fin detail etc. I’m feeling pretty grateful and honoured to have a board made by the kiwi surf icon Paul Shanks. I had a discussion with my brother tonight and we only just realised we’ve been surfing on his boards since we were kids. Pretty special.
