The biblical words that flashed into my heart and mind this morning as I felt myself taking a detour into fear. See I've been holding on too tightly to things I want to bring into existence. I've had a tight grip on my vision. I've left little room for unplanned setbacks. Left little wiggle room for the unexpected. But today I've been reminded that a delay is not a denial. I've been reminded that I'm co-creating with a power greater than myself who knows a better way. Who can choose a wiser path. My only job is to trust and follow the redirection. To surrender in faith that what needs to be will come. So a delay is not a denial a delay is a detour into universal flow. ❤
It's never been a prerequisite to have it all figured out before serving others with what you know. It's never been a requirement to be perfect before guiding others who might need what you know. It's certainly never been a qualification to wait for permission to honor your heart and its myriad of desires. But it's always has been essential that you trust the flow of guidance urging you to teach what you know and service others with your work. Someone out there is in desperate need of you have. Someone out there is hoping that you show up. Someone out there needs what only you can provide. Don't let them down. It might feel scary, you may not feel ready, you may even doubt if you have what it takes to be the person for the job but my answer is that you trust your heart. To the striving online solopreneur with a dream in your heart and the longing to serve but with doubts in your mind... Listen, it's not a comparison thing. It's not about what you're doing and what everyone else is doing. It's the fact that you could've very easily been the person who isn't trying. You could've been the person who didn't believe- who gets caught up by their mistakes. But you decided to be the person who tries. The person who keeps going no matter how slow or fast the progress is. The person who accepts nothing else of themselves but their best. Because that's who you really are and that's what this life is about.
It's so tempting to want to give up on our work when we don't feel like an expert. When we feel hundreds of thousands of miles away from where we're "supposed to be". We don't realize that where were supposed to be, is where we are right now creating the work that we DO know how to create. We don't realize this is part of the process. We don't realize that as we create what we can with what we have right now, the process gets easier. As the process gets easier, we get better at creating. As we get better at creating... We're now the expert. Success doesn't happen overnight but you get to create it with each passing moment. The only thing that matters is that you keep showing up even if you don't feel like anything you're doing is perfect at the moment. ❤ (at Miami, Florida)
You can choose to fall prey to the fear that you're not good enough for your dreams- that what you truly want is out of your reach. Or you can use all that energy to fuel your faith and decide that from this moment forward YOU'RE GONNA RISE and YOU'RE GONNA CONQUER. Ultimately how your life will eventually go down is your choice. You can choose faith or you can choose fear they both require the same amount of energy to believe in. What do you choose?

You are not your past. I don't care where you've been or what you've done. You are not your past. I don't care how much you've sucked at life. You are not your past. If there's something you want you go and you get it with complete disregard of previous failed attempts. Because you are not your past.
.... you have to be willing to want freedom, fulfillment, and meaning, more than you want to stay where you are.
It used to be pretty cray for me once upon a time, I used to lead a wildly self-destructive lifestyle. I mean, I could tell you stories that'll make your jaw drop. Those days are looooonng over but it's so crazy to look back and see how hypnotized I was with the idea of being worth-less. You know that quote, whether you think you can, or you think you cant- you're right? Well that's the power of the mind. The mind accepts commands you give it. You think your worthless and you not capable of living your dreams? You're right. You think you're powerful beyond measure and destined to live a life beyond your wildest dreams? You're right. You think you need to be an expert, have more followers, be more liked, so that you'll finally feel worthy to showcase your work? You're right. But you can also just decide to feel worthy now, and you will be right about that too. It's all about what you brainwash yourself into believing. Hands down, one of the powerful things I've done to change my life. Ever had an experience with something like this?
One of the biggest disservices we can do to ourselves is to look at someone else and think they have it all figured out. To think they're better, happier, more fulfilled, insert whatever your mind likes to come up with here. And while it may be true that someone may be thriving in an area that you're not, you're straight up robbing yourself from many opportunities for growth here. Number one, there's so much more happening behind someone's well put-together exterior- so many things you just don't know. Maybe this person has it going on but what about all the hard days and long hours it took them to get there? The struggle, the failure, and even humiliation? What about all the other not-so-pretty things happening behind the scenes in other areas of their life? Challenges come to anyone who's alive. There's no way to really measure who has it better or worse. This person is human, just like you. And just like you, this person is navigating this crazy thing called life. Secondly, you rob yourself of your own greatness when you're using your energy to evaluate, analyze, and compete instead of being inspired by a human who found a way to triumph despite the riding the crazy rollercoaster of life. You rob yourself of the concentration it takes to strengthen your own path. You drain your power by handing it over to someone else instead of using that energy to make your own thing work. Someone else doesn't have all the greatness. Greatness exists within each and every single person on this planet. So the question is, will you choose to stop looking at what everyone else is doing and have the courage to unleash your own greatness into this planet? Because the world is waiting. And we're not very patient.
