Of course the young princess never meant to be one to pry. She was simply a naturally curious person is all. Spending so much time by herself perhaps hindered any manners she may have had, to leave others well enough alone. Thus why she approached the young man reading his book, and wanted to know what it was about. A delicate palm would poke at his shoulder and features bright and warm would greet him. "Excuse me, but I was---well, I was wondering what you were reading?" Her voice is filled with nothing but curiosity. "I've never been much of a reader. Books always seem to make me fall asleep, so I admire people who can read them."

“Well of course I’m fond of snow men.” Anna chuckled gently and tucked back a lock of orange hair behind her ear, that had come loose from her braids. “I use to love building them all the time with my sister when we were little you know. Why? Do you want some tips on how to make just the right one?”

   IT SEEMED LIKE SUCH AN OBVIOUS THING to ask of the princess then, but she was delighted nonetheless at the affirmation. And it would only further warm her heart, hearing the other talk about her sister the way she did. Knowing by now just how close they are, but always happy to hear more about what else it was that they did to keep this bond so strong between them. 

   “Oh, ah love building em’ too, sis! ‘Specially since it’s snowin’ most-a time where ah come from!” With that said, Itsuki would begin to kneel down and gather up heaps of snow, “So whadya say we build some tagetha, right now?” After all, despite knowing how to make them herself, she was sure she could still see and learn something new from the other then.

Anna could never tire of childish antics like building snow men and playing in the snow in general. Those memories she had of her and Elsa were the most cherished. Playing in their own little winter world filled with tall castles, hills, and snow men who gave the warmest of hugs. She would gladly go back to that time any chance she got. Especially since her current adult world was one filled with boring royal meetings, court appearances and balls that weren't nearly as fun as they seemed. Dresses fit too tightly and high heels always hurt her feet.

"Of course!" Anna grinned brightly and thus knelt down, the skirt of her dress pooling around her feet and legs. "First things first is of course the snowman has to have a round and plump body. Can't have a snowman without a steady center otherwise his head won't fit just right you see." She begins to help her roll the collected snow together.

Those memories still lingered in the back of her mind. The days spent knocking and talking away to a door, shut and impossible to cross over it seemed like. Impossible to know how her sister was truly doing and if she was seemingly there at all. But in this moment they were reconnected and she knew better than to swallow down her fears any longer. Emerald hues lingering downwards then up at her. "I know. No more closed doors." She repeats, with a small smile. "I just well---" she reaches out towards her sister, taking her palm. "I just sort of was planning on surprising you is all. And well, the surprise sort of----ended up not working out is all."

❝ Anna .... you know that I would never shut the door again. never. we have come through too much to regress back to where we were. ❞ and that was a promise. there was too much at stake. they could never go back to closed doors. that time was miserable for Elsa. that was a time with bleak days. endless pain. she could never allow life to go back to that. she could never exist like that again. she takes her sister's hands in hers. ❝ you're worrying too much. even if it didn't work out , what matters is that you tried. and I will have fun regardless. anything you do is fun. ❞

"You mean it?" A hopeful smile spreads on those delicate features and for a moment those once hesitant eyes grow more confident. "I--I mean, I know it's---it's just, it's the holiday season and all. And I wanted to well---plan this big christmas surprise. I even had Kristoff go and secretly pick out a tree and everything, and it worked out of course he's a genius decorator apparently---" She's caught up in her words, fast past and excited as she leads her sister down the hall once more. Passing the familiar paintings she once stared at in her lonely days all by herself. No more.

"It's just I---" She sighed heavily as they neared the large double doors that were going to lead to the party she planned. The large dinner table all set up, food galore and presents and decorations. All of their friends waiting but--- "I was going to make you a very special cake. I had it all planned out you know. Lots of layers and different colors but it....It didn't turn out. So now we don't even have a cake."
