Duo: So we’re all on the same level of confusion here. Ain’t can be used to replace the contractions Don’t, Aren’t, and Isn’t.

Heero: The hell it can.

The latest instalment is a gorgeous 1x3 titled You Find Shelter Somewhere in Me that fills in the backstory of the main fic. I couldn’t contain my excitement for the next part that will explore the dynamic of 2x3 so I drew this for some release 😂. This story is one of my fav universes and the OT3 works so well in the conditions they’re living in.

Hard at Work or Hardly Working?

Duo tied to Triton by Heero as a training exercise, not even trying to escape like he’s supposed to: “An ant is a hard worker, a queen ant is not. They are both hard laborers though.”

Triton simply sighing in defeat as he tries to get himself untied so he doesn’t have to listen to this anymore.

Duo continuing: “Also, if the color red makes a bull, bullheaded, would the color green make it agreenable?”

Triton trying not to laugh: “Duo, I swear to fuck, if you don’t help get us out of this I’m telling Quatre you broke his violin.”

Duo mildly shocked: “You wouldn’t dare!”

Triton grits his teeth as his wrists chafe against the ropes more: “One doesn’t need Duolingo to understand just how much I would dare.”

Triton shrugs: “I figured it’d annoy you enough to get us out finally. I’ve been listening to your puns for 7 hours now. My wrists are probably gonna scar.”

Duo was warm, and mostly comfortable, but then his bed moved, spoke even. He startled awake so badly he fell off the couch. “Ow.”

Sitting up he blinked at Trowa, “Hey man, sorry, was trying to wake you last night to ask if you wanted dinner...” He heaved a sigh, “Which is probably all gross now. And you pulled me down and wouldn’t let go... so I just went to sleep too.”

Duo blushed and ducked his head. “You can go sleep in a bed you know. Nude is an acceptable way to sleep in a bed if it’s the grossness of your clothes that was the issue.”

He hadn’t really noticed last night, but with the sun shining in on him, it was pretty bad. “You okay?”

Duo squawked as Trowa pulled him over, snorting as the man settled back into sleep. “Hey! Come on man, I’m starving!”

Duo tried his best to pull away, but Trowa’s arms were like iron bars. Duo deflated and flopped himself over Trowa. It was comfortable, but he really didn’t want to waste food. He pouted for a moment, then sighed in defeat. He tilted his head and kissed the side of Trowa’s jaw, “Fine whatever, sleep first I guess.”

He snuggled into Trowa and tried to relax into sleep himself.

“Mmm, smells good.” Duo gave an appreciative sniff as he plated his stake and the hash-browns, he placed the second helping of all of it aside for the moment. If Trowa woke he could eat it, and if he didn’t then Duo would put it away when he was done eating his own.

He set his plate on the table and grabbed down a glass and poured himself some milk before finally sitting down to eat. He glanced over the bar counter to the couch a faint smile gracing his lips at the sight of Trowa’s long legs hanging over the side.

He hadn’t missed the small groan earlier, but had regulated it to being tired and most likely sore. Now that he was seated however, he was worried about him. With a frustrated sigh at himself he rose and went back over to the couch. Duo crouched down in front of Trowa’s face, wary of the lightning fast reactions he knew the man could have and ready to spring out of the way should it be needed.

“Tro, man, you hungry?”
