I can’t believe I’m even writing this but we lost our precious baby Casey yesterday, a few months before her 12th birthday. Way too soon. We adopted her when she was just 11 months old. She was such a strong girl and fought kidney disease and other ailments with all she could. She pushed through four hospital stays and countless medications/ tests, always coming back home to us, but eventually that evil disease just wore her body out. She is my everything and the light of my life, and I honestly don’t know how I am going to live without her here. I don’t know if I can. I will never love another soul the way I have loved her, and what she gave to me in return was more than I ever could have imagined or deserved in the first place. She was always the one who would get me through things like this.. I love her with everything in me and I just feel completely broken. 💔
