Hey loves! Little update!! I’ve been spending some time recovering from my job as it is now over! However now I am spending some time cleaning my house so I will continue to be busy.

For my Splatoon people, I’ve been playing a lot of raiders these past few days! Remember that I write S.hiver if anyone wants to interact with them. Also working with friends and such to figure out what our comic entails for it but likely my N.eo A.gent 3 (S.helly) will be there? idk anyway

For my R.WBY people! You have not been forgotten! The second I’m free I’m running full throttle back to my blog to continue writing, although it seems that may be Wednesday when I am fully free again. Thank you for your patience!!

|| Alright, here it is: the headcanon post about Ed needing glasses and refusing to use them which will always make everything inexplicably worse LMAO

|| so just to start off I don't know if h.ohenheim even needs glasses or if he's just wearing them for the vibes. it doesnt seem like he would need them in theory but who knows! regardless it's his vibe and the damage was done to ed's psyche anyway LOL i know farsighted-ness is hereditary but for all intensive purposes he didn't have to get it from his dad! it's a completely normal thing to have!!!!

|| and yes, this is a thing that gets INTENSLY worse the second youre an older adult but i have my reasoning. you can also start having it as a kid as well, which is what ed is dealing with

|| first of all, he didnt really notice it as a kid, cause it wasnt bad. he probably had 20/20 vision. it started to fail very slowly after he was 8-but by this time he was so focused on human transmutation that he was only aggravating it further by nonstop reading and writing-and somehow he still didnt notice. he chalked this up to staying up all night and day reading alchemy notes and writing them too!

|| flash cut to 15 year old present day ed, he definitely has to squint to read well. in battles and stuff this isnt a problem because most of the time people are far away or use large attacks! and it isnt a problem when he is doing alchemy because he doesnt need to draw anything to do it, he just claps his hands and everything is good!

|| the problem lies within reading for him. and this is a major problem because he has to read OTHER PEOPLE'S NOTES to find any clues for getting al's body back, and its getting a lot harder to read things that are up close. at this point he KNOWS he needs reading glasses but he cant stand the thought of it - cause then he'd look wayyyyyyyyyy too much like his dad. and he'd rather ruin his vision even further than get corrective lenses. even if its just for reading.

|| and he legit goes through the time of the entire anime like this!!! its only making his eyesight worse!!! he needs to stop!!!

|| at 18 years old after everything, he does begrudgingly have a pair and he only uses it when he's alone or if he can distract someone long enough to read the sentence he's trying to read. he hates this so much. but he got a SLIGHTLY better relationship with his father before he died so like. he's fine with owning a pair. just doesnt want anyone to see it

|| again, theyre only for reading so he doesnt need them all the time,,,, he probably needs them all the time when he's a lot older but for now he's chill. and tbh depending on the interaction of a post 18 year old ed is how much he cares about putting them on in front of people
