Hi there!! You can call me Soluun or Red. I'm 20 and go by it/he/fae pronouns. I do cosplays, art and write about whatever is occupying my brain at the moment.

Currently my main interests are Black Butler, specifically grim reapers with their whole society shtick and all other supernatural worldbuilding in it, and my OCs, both from fully original concepts and fandoms
I really like to make different AUs and any idea, no matter how small, can turn into a complicated alternative universe world. They all will be added into a separate AU masterlist, when they will get mentioned on this blog.
On top of that, overwhelming majority of all of my Black Butler stuff will have different degrees of Grelliam (Grell x William) content in it. They are my emotional support straight ship, and at this point have permanently altered by brain chemistry.

I was being tortured for this entire month so I only drop my pride piece now, yea. what's new. I was starting some things with grelle but after I went to pride I reaaaalllly wanted to see some reapers at pride. so I figured that this would be better. Happy Pride!!!!
okay, these three pieces have been made more than a moth ago, and since than the character designs have changed, but I do want to re-post them. (also, so sorry to anyone who have seen this post previously. some shit happened, and I decided to take the stress off by deleting everything art related i had on any social media. But hey, its back.)
so these were made to a black butler oc monthly prompt/challenge of 'What flowers or plants do you associate with your oc?' And because I have way too many kuro ocs, I chose the three 'main' ones - Vivienne, Isabel and Scarlett. And since I also struggle to choose one thing to symbolize anything, they each got a bouquet.
here are the flowers in each one:
Vivienne - a single dahlia, acanthus, violettes, a tree branch with mock oranges and purple hyacinths
Isabel - marigolds, chives, red columbines and hollyhocks (that i just noticed, that I have drawn without their stems, and just as singular flowers. oh well.)
Scarlett - pine, bluebells and clematis.

First of all, I just noticed that each bouquet turned out to have one less flower type in it in the same order, the girls are reveal to be the focus characters in the story, starting with Vivienne. That was not intentional, but I thinks its a neat little detail.
And now to the stories that the flowers tell!
Starting with the one for Vivienne - she is the resident tailor, for who the artistic intent and self expression (acanthus, a single dahlia) are really important in making of any clothing. She would never judge anyone for their choices of how to present themselves, but for herself she will always choose something fully covering her skin and resort to the proper high class etiquette. Something befitting of a true lady. (violets, purple hyacinths). But there is always a flip to a coin. And this time it comes with either a confused or straight up concerned look form a friend. A gentle pat on the shoulder from her mentor. A reflection in a shattered mirror, hidden in the corner of her small washroom in the storefront she made also into a home, that she always sees in the corners of her vision. And a sting in her eyes, that is always blinked away before anyone is there to see it. (mock orange)
For Isabel her hard work as the reaper has always been lead by jelousy of how much easier recognition and praise comes to others (marigolds). And if you were to ask anyone, beside the man she has been treating much more like a father, than a mentor ever since getting into her current division, they would say her busy-body nature comes directly from that (chives, hollylocks). They would also question the decisions of the higher-ups, in choosing reapers with less field and supernatural existence experience and would not be shy about mentioning it to Isabel. And nobody ever notices, each time this happens, her hands begin to tremble. (red columbines)
Now, when it comes to Scarlett, she has managed to earn herself a reputation amongst her colleagues in the archives of someone acutely aware of their strength and weaknesses (bluebells), and never shying away from asking for guidance from reapers more experienced than her. A devotion to proper pedicures, similar to the one people give to a god or religious ideas, along with the (pine, clematis). But along with such praise there has been a rumor, following her everywhere she goes. One about a man, and how her knees all this time have been kneeling for anything but a prayer. And how one day it will become her unmaking. And she would only have herself to blame.
Also, I did wanted to add wines of heliotrope crawling from the bouquet, to Scarlett's body, but managed to forget, when making this, and now have no intention of putting it back on there, but yeah. You should probably know about that too. Also, when this was first made, Scarlett was a very new character, that took a place of an idea/persona that previously was only supposed to hunt the narrative more and more as the story progressed. But, these flowers, would not be wrong to describe a part of her even now, despite all the changes. Because no matter how wrong it sometimes is, public perception of a person will always play a bigger role in many aspects of life, including career, that a real person underneath it. And now it also feels significant now, how she is the only one, not facing forward.
Hi! Will this work? I'm not sure, but here's hoping it does because I really wanted to share the William anime compilation I did with all my fellow William fans. English dub, by the way. Eventually I might go back and do the Japanese one but that's for a later, less tired me lol

A very much in the comfort zone portrait style thingy I did instead of planning out either of the bigger comic projects. (yes, 'Does this fit under regulations?', aka my kuro ocs story, is now officially set to be a comic.)
This all started as me wanting to figure out Isabel's (first portrait) and Scarlett's (third portrait) features, but than an idea happened. So now you all also get to see it :)
At this point all I ask for the future of Black Butler is for Yana Toboso to not ruin William's character by writing some bullshit character twist.
Let him be a normal guy with good morals who just tries his best at a shitty job he's trapped into, he is so much more relatable like that.
(I'd just like to see some kind of vulnerability from him like in The Tale of Will the Reaper that would make sense to understand his inner thoughts/feelings, but I am not even interested in a back story, it's more fun to imagine)
