For context, I received this ask a few minutes ago:
In this post im gonna go slowly between every point this anon makes and basically just. Talk about it. Openly. If anything comes out about Sombra with CONCRETE evidence, I of course will admit that and take the proper steps to educate others on that, but as he's shown me nothing but kindness and these harassers have done nothing but talk shit with no evidence, I feel I need to discuss how, currently, this entire thing comes off as bullshit and are accusatory efforts built upon no evidence.

Also saying this here: DO NOT HARASS ANYONE HERE! Yes, including the person I shit on for most of this. They suck, but that doesn't mean you get to go send them hate and shit. If you do, you are a part of the problem. Instead, blocking and reporting this user (or any asks you receive which are similar to the ones I show off in this post) is much more helpful.

Situational Context
Okay. So. To get into it: What's this about? What is this anon talking about? This anon is referencing THIS POST, aka https://www.tumblr.com/info-gather/819634978128347136/hello-everyone-we-meant-to-post-the-doc?source=share, made by an account I blocked.
It's talking about my mutual, @sombrathedragon. Sombra is someone I haven't been moots with long but who has been faced by a multitude of harassment the past few months (sombra feel free to comment on exactly how long this has been going on for, again I haven't been here for much of it so... yeah.) Upon becoming moots with Sombra, I was quickly targeted by this, too.
On May 13th, I got an ask from an anonymous anon. Here is said ask:
Obviously I reached out to Sombra about the deal (since. Again. An anonymous asker sent this. I could not ask the asker for a source for any of these claims) and Sombra explained the situation in DMs to me. I know Sombra doesn't share his age online and that's for a very good reason, but they confirmed to me that they are not the age claimed in this ask, and people who are friends with Sombra - such as @squidwof - have confirmed this fact multiple times. Sombra is not an adult and hasn't claimed to be, which makes me feel as though this anon's claims were not based in fact. Plus, some personal aspects that I'm unsure Sombra wants to share directly conflicts with some parts of this ask, which made me even more suspicious.
On the very same day (again May 13th), I received a DM from the account @info-gather (whom I've unblocked momentarily for this post). I do not still have the DMs, as I figured I wouldn't ever need them (dumb of me to assume, I'm aware), but here's a screenshot of me mentioning them to Sombra if that's anything-
The gist of what I remember is this account reached out to me explaining how they were gathering information on Sombra for a doc. They expressed that they knew I was a "former friend of Sombra" and wanted to know how he hurt me. I explained to this person how I was a current friend of Sombra who hadn't been hurt nor shown any information about the situation. I firmly asked to be shown proof of these claims, and that I would want to be reached out to by someone on their main rather than again a side blog which looked fake. I then explained that this person (or whomever they're working with) could link me to a doc when it came out, but for the period I would be blocking them as I figured that - if this doc was bullshit (which seems to be the case) - I wouldn't receive anything else. And, well, I didn't for a month! Until today, evidently-
Dissecting the Post
Again, today I received the ask at the top of this post. I'm going to dissect both the post linked as well as then address the ask. Lets do the post linked first, which again you can find earlier in this post, or which I will link here. Again, if you wanna see the poster's full account, it's @info-gather. I will be using a screenshot in the case this account gets deleted. Thank you for understanding.
Okay so let's dissect this post. Misogyny, transphobia, and ableism. Again I do not KNOW Sombra super well or nor have I known him for a long period of time, so he could perhaps have shown aspects of these things before I knew him, and if anyone provides ANY EVIDENCE OF THIS that would be great. However, these feel like buzz words used to attract people into going "oh my GOD, Sombra's WHAT???". Also, kinda counter intuitive - Sombra is trans. You can be transphobic in ways while being trans, however it's less likely than, say, someone who ISN'T trans, and again, 0 proof.
Then, again, the grooming. There has been no proof of this shown to me or the others. So, again, I can only take this at face value. Also, unless the vicitim had a birthday between May and June, the inconsistency of her being 12 to 13 between the ask sent to me (May 13th) and this post being made (June 16th) is concerning to me and a big red flag as well for the reliability here.
Then, the doxxing. From all I know, this is a baseless claim. There has been no evidence to show Sombra doxxing anyone. If anything, these harassers have basically forced Sombra to dox himself by constantly insisting this minor is an 18 y/o predator without any evidence. Also, again, this just feels like an excuse. The people who have been claiming to be making a doc around Sombra have been claiming to do so for months now, and while docs take time, it continuously feels like these people are making excuses as to why the "soon-to-come" doc has yet to come. Idk why they thought claiming to make a doc when not having any evidence to even put on a doc would work, but I digress. The longer this is put off and excused WITHOUT EVIDENCE makes it feel less and less trustworthy and less likely of being true.
Then, Squid. Squid (who I tagged earlier in this post) has expressed multiple times that Sombra *HAS NOT GROOMED HIM*. You can see him express this in this reblog and this answer star made. Here are screenshots too:
I personally don't think I have to say more as Squid has said it xemself... And yes, I know, grooming and manipulation can get into a victim's head and cause them to see no wrong with their groomer, I am plenty aware of that. However, combined with the suspicious, without-evidence claims and behavior of these people I feel this is just another thing thrown out here to try and discredit squid and make people disbelieve Sombra being a good dude. Because, if he's manipulated his best friend - their partner - then who HASN'T been manipulated by him????
Lastly the whole suicide. Now, don't get me wrong, I think that if someone killed themself over this it should still be taken seriously. If someone claimed I groomed someone and killed themself because no one believed them - and they actually, genuinely died - I would not consider that "good" or a victory in any sense. I would be confused and upset, because what do you mean someone has been constantly claiming something I haven't done and then killed themself? What??
Also, "Nobody wants to acknowledge when something is wrong." Yes, actually, they do. People want to hear what you have to say if you'd show any fucking proof. The whole reason no one has believed you is because you have given ZERO EVIDENCE TO ANY OF YOUR CLAIMS. If I claimed eating bread caused skin cancer, and then dodged ever giving ANY EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THAT, just repeating constantly "don't eat bread it'll give you cancer don't eat bread it'll give you cancer", I'd hope no one fucking believes me! People would call me annoying, a harasser, and a whiner for saying "why won't anyone believe what I'm saying!!! I'm trying to warn you!!" warn of something that I've show NO EVIDENCE FOR. Have we never heard of crying wolf??? If you seriously wanted to get this info out with evidence and reason, then you'd focus less on harassing everyone connected to this person, harassing this person themself, and instead focus on getting the information out in a way that shows concise evidence clearly and without misunderstanding. You have failed constantly to do that and have spread drama like you are 12 years old. Please think for a moment.
And again, if this person is dead that is HORRIBLE. But. I don't think they are. And not because I suspect all of these asks are sent by the same person (which I do suspect), but because. Well. This
I, again, unblocked this account to be able to tag them in this post. And I decide to check direct messages with them to see if my DMs did save (which, they did not). And, well, I see this. An icon indicating this account (or its main) has been online recently
Now, IDK how accurate tumblr online status is, but I know for a fact that 1. The original suicide post made by this account was posted on Tuesday of this week (aka June 16th). Today is Friday (June 19th) and 2. normally, when your account is inactive, it stops saying your active AT WORST after about a day of inactivity. I know this because, when my tumblr friend, Shiloh, committed suicide, his account went inactive after a while. Because he was dead. So, right when I check this account, Tumblr notifies me that it (or the main it's connected to) has been active for the last hour, give or take. The last hour in which I received the ask that made me make this post... Hm.
I'm pretty sure I don't have to tell you all faking suicide is a shitty fucking thing to do. Especially to try and make your claims of someone being a pedophile without any good evidence seem more trustworthy or something. Whoever the fuck runs this account, you are a sick fuck of a human for faking suicide just to try and make your harassment of a minor seem more justified. Fuck you. And if I turn out to be incorrect about this suicide, then of course I apologize, but all this evidence points to a sick fucking person being behind this absolute dogshit. Also, tagging all of Sombra's accounts so he can see you basically say "you're the reason I'm killing myself"? Fuck. You. Complete piece of shit of a person you are.
Dissecting the Ask
Now time to comment on the actual ask itself, which I personally believe to be made by the person who runs the account, however please understand *I HAVE NO ACTUAL PROOF OF THIS!* All I have is "this account which supposedly is dead came online during the time I received this ask". please believe whatever conclusion you yourself come to after reading.
First this ask mentions posts this account made with discord screenshots. Okay. Can I see the screenshots? Are the screenshots... in the room with us? Look I'm trying to take this seriously but when you link me to a post that just claims a bunch of stuff with 0 proof, why should I believe you? I checked the rest of this account too, and guess what! This is it's only post. It'd be great if there were more posts or anything but, again, there's not. There's nothing here. And god forbid this anon go on their account so I can ask for screenshots! But nope! Just another cowardly anon. Awesome.

Or did you just see this post and run to spread this shit? Please, for god's sake, look for evidence and sources. I know from experience jumping on a bandwagon when there's no evidence besides claims can hurt people- hell, sometimes when someone has what appears to be evidence, it can still be showcased to be false! I lead you to the Kwite Situation which didn't happen long ago. I learned from there jumping on a bandwagon is never a good idea - being neutral is an important step in this process, especially so you can try and consider both sides of a response to a situation. And, as someone who has been as neutral as I can, knowing my slight bias towards Sombra, whom I consider a friend, all I can say is this all comes off as bullshit. Claims with no evidence, constant harassment and procrastination, and the probable faking of a suicide. I pity you, anon, if you aren't a part of this. Someone who jumped on a bandwagon without anything besides a single sketchy post. I hope maybe this can educate you. And, if you are the person behind all this shit, may this post serve as a final warn me. Leave me alone. Leave Sombra alone.
