yukixhaku
Naruto was confusing as always. If something hasn’t changed that was his behavior. And the fact he stayed extremely careless. He wasn’t aware of the fact Haku supposed to be his enemy, which made his job much easier. Not talking about the fact they didn’t have Kakashi around. That smartass would ruin all his plans, no matter how good his strategy was. The new guys definitely had no idea who he was so it won’t be suspicious at all. Besides that he already created a believable story about his survival and everything that happened since then. In case Naruto would even ask. But so far he just treated him as a friend he hasn’t seen in a while.
"No worries, just some bad guys attacked me, thinking i have money.”
Mentioning the ramen made his stomach growl, he hasn’t eaten for a while, especially not ramen. It brought back good memories. He was very young and once Zabuza got a lot of money for murdering someone and he took Haku to a restaurant to eat ramen there. It was the first time he actually did that and he remembered how happy he was then.
“I don’t have money.” He admitted, looking at the other ninja hoping he would invite him anyways. He almost forgot about the blood on his clothes but Naruto reminded him. “Oh right.” He stopped and started to undress, opening his bag to take a yukata out. He can wash these later, first he wanted to eat.
Naruto spun in the opposite direction, face reddening. Sure they were both men—yet somehow it felt like he wasn't supposed to see that. Like Haku was different somehow. And no, he wasn't naked. Naruto had been smacked up-side the head one too many times by Sakura to know that anything remotely perverted was punishable by pain.
He waited until it sounded like the other was finished.
"Well that's one way to do it..." he had to admired the others boldness... then again, Haku wasn't a girl so it shouldn't have mattered, "don't go worrying about money 'kay? The ol' man owes me one. I've should have enough credit for the both of us."
Translation? He didn't have much money on him himself. Oh well. He wasn't bothered in the slightest. Teuchi wouldn't turn him away. Naruto was his number one customer. He grinned to himself imagining introducing him and Haku. It wasn't often he'd see customers from Kirigakure.
"Is this your first time on the inside of Konoha?" Naruto asked as they passed through the gates, Kirigakure didn't have the same noisiness as that of the leaf as far as he could remember, "If so, you're gonna be in for a bit of a culture shock..."
Just near its entrance alone there was a flood of people moving around them like water in a stream.
