I've been on a pulleyverse kick lately and this might be obvious, but I hadn't realized how many of her books (to a bigger or lesser degree) are about time itself. That includes the MCs. So one of my favorite books as a teen had a plot twist that basically went: the archangel Gabriel is missing and their very powerful (and up until that point secret) demon partner had gone crazy looking for them.... yes, I was extremely normal about ineffable bureaucracy when s2 came out, why do you ask??/s
