Hi all! I’ve been absent for a while (years!) due to chronic illness, specifically severe pelvic and extrapelvic endometriosis. I’ve recently found out that my endometriosis has spread to my diaphragm and lungs, as well as my GI tract, and got my autoimmune diagnosis (a lot, I know!) Finally, I have the opportunity to get proper excision surgery to remove the endometrial lesions, after a failed surgery that left me with nerve damage and no relief. The problem is that this surgery requires extreme levels of qualification and experience, making it largely unaffordable for my family and I, but it’s necessary to relieve my pain and prevent further damage. I’ve lived with this pain for 13 years, most of them not knowing what’s wrong, and I’m finally ready to meet this disease with fervency. This is where my GoFundMe comes in!
