08.14.21 | how are you? I am coping so far. 2nd year is waaay more toxic and somehow we are surviving?

anw, I had a check up in the morning and my vision is now 20/40. I filmed my part for our surgery SGD after and instead of sleeping, I lay down to rest for a few mins. I felt like I’ve lost my morning so I got up sleepily, brewed coffee, and studied patho. I’m almost halfway done with the loooong chapter 2 😭

it’s almost 11 now and I’m barely absorbing anything so I am currently taking a nice bath (yay for new bathbombs 💟) before I sleep. typing this now, I realized I had been so productive and it was only my feeling that I was not. 😮‍💨 we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves. I accomplished some tasks and I will try again and start strong tomorrow. 💪🏼

Going back to good old biochemistry - since I've managed to maintain a stable schedule for german I figured why not bring the actually important studying back. It wasn't actually that long ago since I've read on biochem, but with the amount of stuff you have to keep in your head all the while reading it does make it feel like ages.

I bought a new desk. The old one was very small for me. And the plus side of this one is that I m able to face towards window which allows me access to lots of natural light.

Last semester I'd always forget(procrastinate until I forget) to take my quizes and remember it a few hours after it's due. Now I'm glad that I did not forget to take it this time today. Apart from that, 44 degrees and maths don't make a great combo, tested by me.

really lost my streak at the end there but i made it! i think i’ll try and keep up posting often because sharing what i’m doing (almost) every day has definitely made me study a lot more, and i’m gonna need to keep that up this semster. and yeah i finished my january spread halfway through february but again, better late than never :)
