Part of me really wants it to stay freezing cold outside all winter. Maybe because it reminds me of New York? I started one of those online dating accounts. It's fun but weird. It's fun if you don't have one guy you're all hung up on. I do, I have that thing. That guy. I met him on there and we have hung out four times, and all I can really say is I like who I am when I'm around him. And that's not an easy thing to find. He wants to take it slow, which is scary but nice. No one ever asked me to do that before. I thought it only happened on TV. But I like it because rushing into things has gotten me into trouble in the past. But then it was always about sex. This guy and I can actually talk. A lot. And he's just so fucking beautiful. So what do I do about these other boys who are sorta nice and want to meet me? Do I meet them? There's a few. One I did meet and now he's texting me again a month later. He's in an open relationship and I was curious to hear about it. It's not for me. I had a nice time chatting with him but did not find him particularly attractive, so there will be no testing of my theory. I suppose I should text him back, but boy does it feel awkward. Another one I maybe could actually like. We've talked a decent amount and I don't get too bored. Lots of the boys on there are boring. Well, some are just dumb, but that you can ignore. Nothing is worse than boring. About that weather... I guess it couldn't hurt to meet one boy while I'm taking it slow. Maybe that will help me stay on track and not be overbearing. My romantic side, though, feels like that's cheating. Obviously it isn't really, but I have never dated multiple people. It feels inappropriate. This ain't Sex and the City. I mean, if you're going to make an effort to take something slow, doesn't that mean you're taking it seriously?
