hey, absolutely no diss at all, just a bystander who wants to share something; I noticed you said the reasoning for asking people not to cross post or repost your poetry is because you want to publish it one day. while I 100% support this sentiment and believe it’s incredibly disrespectful for someone to repost art that isn’t theirs w/o an artist’s consent, it’s typically impossible to publish/copyright/get publishing rights for writing that has been posted ANYWHERE on the internet, starting with your post that shared it for the first time (of course if your goal is to publish for a publisher, mag, etc that happens to have the common “no previously published/no reprint poetry or prose” rule). thought you should know, as your writing is incredible and it sucks to see this happen.

I am very aware of this, which is why I no longer post poetry on this blog. My plan thus far is to one day publish a chapbook or other poetry book once I'm an established author and add a note about this poem on whatever page. I simply don't want to be called out for plagiarism on a poem I wrote. If I ever do get to publish a chapbook, I'll redo some aspects of this blog like putting my name on it and removing traces of my main blog

Building our house was not easy, it took a long time of effort, and it was our only refuge and source of warmth and happiness. It was full of love and dreams. We spent the most beautiful and happiest occasions with our family. I was happy to take some pictures with the family on those occasions.

Our house was bombed and destroyed. Nothing remains to remind us of the past except some stones and rubble.

We are facing a very difficult life, and we are on the verge of death, and we are trying as much as possible to adapt to these circumstances, but it is very difficult for me and my family 🍉

We were living a quiet life. I always wished that my children would become doctors and engineers. Suddenly, our lives turned into a nightmare. This is my home after October 7. You cut your hair so it can't fan out in the water. Keep your love close to your heart. Don't mourn when your father dies. Don't ask about your mother, don't worry about your brother. If you go crazy you do it like this: Knives instead of flowers, violence instead of songs. Switch out perfect teeth for fangs in throats, Switch out doing what your father says for trusting no one. You don't sleep with him. You don't love him. Love is a mistake if you don't want to be her. When your father dies you don't kill yourself. You kill him who did it. What would have been bloody white isn't, Because you were smart and now wear black. And when you still end up dying, All you've done is die as someone else.

So in a class that I was in, we had to pick a piece of literature and then create a presentation showing our analysis. I chose Hamlet because of course I did, I love Hamlet. One of the requirements was a synopsis from the internet.

"The ghost of the King of Denmark tells his son Hamlet to avenge his murder by killing the new king, Hamlet's uncle. Hamlet feigns madness, contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge. His uncle, fearing for his life, also devises plots to kill Hamlet. Source: Shakespeare Birthplace Trust"

I disagreed with the feigning madness part, so I explained my thoughts on how Hamlet's insanity and Ophelia's insanity are rooted in the same source, but are shown in opposite ways. They both lose their fathers to someone they were supposed to trust. They're foils, and they're different sides of the same coin.

Whether it's status or mentality, their grief and insanity are so different, but they're both still self destructive in their own ways. Ophelia's is obvious with the suicide, but Hamlet sets himself up for isolation and his paranoia kills innocent people and ultimately himself with the rube goldberg machine of events that happens after he sees his father's ghost. This might not be a good explanation so I'm sorry.

Then for a thesis statement I put "The play has some of the most important parts through the psyche of the characters, which is thrilling in the sense that the characters are baring their souls for the audience to see."

The two main people that you see this with are Hamlet and Ophelia (Horatio and Claudio being applied is a whole other discussion) which I personally believe is important for the play and it's themes.
